I love you Lisa with all my heart. Know
every morning, afternoon and evening your name is lovingly spoken by one you called husband and that everyday without you is like the first with no end.
THE FAMILY MEMBERS OF LISA WARREN WISH TO EXPRESS THEIR GRATITUDE TO ALL THOSE WHO SHOWED SUPPORT WITH SINCERE KIND WORDS, PRAYERS, LETTERS, CARDS AND DONATIONS THROUGH FUND RAISING EFFORTS. YOU WILL ALWAYS BE IN OUR HEARTS. WE CANNOT FULLY CONVEY OUR APPRECIATION FOR THE OUTPOURING OF GOODWILL BUTLER COUNTY RESIDENTS AND THOSE FROM SURROUNDING AREAS DEMONSTRATED. THANK YOU ALL EVER SO MUCH. GOD BLESS EACH OF YOU.
I admired Lisa's professionalism but her humor even more. I was dance critic for the Cincinnati Post while she was Metro Night Editor there. Once, I bragged to her that the choreographer Twyla Tharp whom I had interviewed told me that I had the body of a young dancer.
Lisa quickly retorted, "Yes, and you have it in the trunk of your car."
I will miss this craziness but have plenty of it stored in my memory for recall.
Love to Phil and her family.
Lisa Warren was a big reason the Cincinnati Post was a great newspaper to the end of its life Dec. 31, 2007 and a great place to work. We were all better people and journalists for being around her.
I so admired and respected Lisa's talent, dedication and passion. It was a pleasure and an honor to work with her.
