Ginny, Steve and Brenda, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Dillman. I worked at the Dillmans Store on Central Avenue and had the pleasure of seeing Mr. Dillman visit the store often. He will always be remembered for his smiling face, and his kindness. Mr. Dillman has left you a very special gift. He has wrapped it with Love, and placed it in your heart. His instructions are for you to open it whenever you need Love and comfort. It took him years to fill this box of treasured memories. There are plenty so anytime you need reassurance, guidance and Love pull out one of the treasured memories, don't be afraid for he left so many memories you will never run out. My Condolences to Everyone.

RIP, Roger. It is always sad when you lose a friend, but I will always have great memories. Roger and my father were truly great friends and my father had great respect for him.He was a great golf partner and true citizen of Middletown. Whenever I needed something for the community(fireworks), Roger would just say what can I do to help. His legacy lives on and we should respect that asset for the future. Middletown has lost a friend, colleague and businessman. My condolences to Ginny, Steve and Brenda.

Roger Dillman was a good man and a great service to the Middletown community. He sold my parents their first house when they came to Middletown. They were so appreciative, they named their son, my brother after him. My parents always shopped at the Dillman's stores, even the very first one on Young Street (in the 50's) then on Sutphin Ave. before that store moved to Central Ave. Both my brother Roger and I worked for Dillman Foods for many years. It was there I met my husband, Pete.
Pete worked for Roger for over 23 years. I can honestly say, Roger was very good to his employees. treated us like family. The family business will surly be missed and so will this great man. RIP!

I worked at brown's Run Country Club in the late 1990's - early 00's. I always enjoyed waiting on the Dillman's. Mr. Roger Dillman was always a delight. He would often come in on Wednesday's with a large group and they were so much fun. I often think of those days as some of the best days and those people made it a favorite job of mine from the past. He seemed like such a great person who did many great things for this town. I send my sincere condolences to his family, friends, and many loved ones. May he rest in peace.
