I consider listening to Harry Kalas broadcast Phillies games on TV and the radio a cherished childhood memory. When I moved away from the Philadelphia area, I realized that watching and listening to a baseball game without Harry's voice just wasn't the same. I'm glad Harry was there to broadcast that 2008 championship. It wouldn't have been as sweet without him. He'll be missed greatly.

I remember so many nights as a kid laying in bed listening to Harry and Whitey calling the games on the radio. I've never known another announcer for the Phillies. We love you harry and we'll miss you.

Harry, you were the Phillies. I grew up listening to you and Whitey. Sad, sad day in Philly sports. Rest in Peace.
