Anna Marie (Pepin) Ledoux, 67, of East Hartford, loving wife of 46 years of Normand Ledoux, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 5, 2014 while on vacation in Washington, D.C. Born in Hartford on September 17, 1946, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Bourque) Pepin, she had been a resident of East Hartford for the past 36 years. Anna had been employed for the past 26 years by CVS Pharmacy, Main Street, Glastonbury. She previously worked at Korvette's in Hartford, ADVO System in Hartford, and Cumberland Farms in East Hartford. Anna was a faithful communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church, East Hartford and enjoyed cooking for family and friends and visiting the local casinos. Besides her parents she was predeceased by a sister, Lillian Dixon. Along with her beloved husband, Anna is survived by two sons, Keith Ledoux of Bolton, Scott Ledoux and his wife, Jamie, of Andover; a special granddaughter, Olivia Ledoux of Ellington; several nieces, nephews, friends, and former customers. Funeral services will be Saturday (April 12th) with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 am at Our Lady of Peace Church, May Road/Brandon Road, East Hartford. (Everyone is asked to please go directly to the church on Saturday morning). Burial will follow at Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery, (Section 19), Bloomfield. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Anna's name may be made to the American Lung Association, 45 Ash Street, East Hartford, CT 06108. The D'ESOPO-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford has been entrusted with the care of the funeral arrangements. I remember her smile most of all and her willingess to always want to make you happy and comfortable. When I was much younger, visiting every couple of months with my parents from Boston and seeing my cousin and family was so much fun.
Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.
