I was so sorry to learn of George's death. I worked for him for a number of years in San Francisco. My deepest sympathy goes out to Iara and George IV and his siblings. So very sorry.

I was deeply saddened to hear of George's passing and I want to extend my sympathy to his family. In the past when I have lost a loved one I've been comforted by the passage "On Death" in the book "The Prophet" by Kahlil Gibran. Perhaps those words will ease your sorrow too.

George was a great guy and the world is worse off with his passing. Very very sad.

Mr. Gund, as a fan of the San Jose Sharks since 2/11/94 (my first game), i wanted to thank you for bringing one of the most successful sports franchises to the bay area. Your gifts enable us fans to enjoy going to a Sharks game. Thanks for the memories, and someday VERY soon, the Stanley Cup will know its way to San Jose! GGIII, forever a Shark.
