My sincere condolences to the friends and families of Uncle Al. He was such a fun and warm man. I have fond memories of he and Connie and the four children visiting us at the lake every summer. My thoughts and prayer are with you all.

I was a little girl of about seven or eight the first time I met Uncle Al. He had come to Florida with David for my Uncle Jay's wedding. Sadly, the only other time I remember meeting him was when my Grampi (his older brother Joe) passed two years later. From what I remember of him, he was a quiet man with a gentle smile and a twinkle in his eye that reminded me that he and my grandfather were brothers. Loosing him within such a short time period of when we lost my mom Diane and aunt Cheryl makes my heart ache. But I take comfort in the fact that the Christiana clan must be having a great party in heaven and I know that Uncle Al was greeted by all his loved ones when he got there. I hope you all (Sharon, David, and the rest of the Christiana crew) know you are all in our thoughts and prayers. With much love and kindness, the Bauers & Christianas of Florida
