Dear Mom and Dad,
Happy father's Day. We miss you each time we remember the dads that are in heaven.Thank you dad, for allowing me to obtain this beautiful farm. Thank you for helping Eric to find a new place to live. Thank you, dad for watching over us and helping us each day. I miss talking to you and receiving your guidance and advice. Watch over your children and grand children. Help me with the animals at the shelter too. Stay close to us. We need you everyday to carry on. I had a mass said for you today.

Hi Pop,
Well, once again, Fathers Day has arrived, and I will be thinking of you, as I do everyday. But one tends to feel a little more sad on these special days and holidays. When I think back, it just doesn't seem that long ago, that we were all together, sharing these special times, and happy that we were all ok. It's funny, that at the time, you don't realize how precious these shared days were. You kind of just take it for granted. It's not until years later that you see how important those days were. I guess we all have to learn that the hard way.
I just want to thank you for being a Father that took tremendous care of the family, and worked so hard for Mom and the kids. We owe you a great deal of thanks. You and Mom were the best parents I could ever dream for, and now the good Lord has you together, and with our Sister Cynthia. Even though I so wish you were all still here and in good health, at least I am sure you are all safe and together.
So, have a wonderful Fathers Day up there Dad, and don't worry, we won't forget you, even though Mom has passed more recently.
Until we meet again, Love your son, Jeff
June 12, 2014
Hello Pop,
I just cannot believe that this is your 21st anniversary, since we lost you June 12th, 1993. Where oh where have 21 years gone. As Mom always used to say, it seems just about half or even a little less, than the time that has actually passed. I can remember it all very clearly, as if it was recently. I can still picture you there saying "Jeff, you are trying to keep me alive in the worst way" It was such a shame, and so unexpected, like a bad dream. I remember Mom saying, " you mean we won't even have Dad for Fathers Day ? " Our whole house and lives changed after that. But we did the best we could, and always thought of you, and missed you daily. Fathers Day will be sad without you, but I will keep very busy, and the day will go by fast. I tried to get a mass for you, but despite being early, they were all taken. So the candle at church burns in your honor/memory all next week. You see Pop, no matter how many years pass, you will never be forgotten. I will visit the cemetery today as well. They have a flag at your bronze marker from Memorial Day.
Thanks for all you did for this family, and your dedication to Mom and us kids. You were one of a kind.
Be happy now that you are with Mom, your "Jody ", and daughter Cynthia. I will see you again, when my work here on earth is finished. Until then, rest easy Dad, you deserve your well earned reward up there. Say Hi to Mom and Cindy.
Love Forever, Your son, Jeff.

Dear sister Cynthia,
May 20th, marks the 66th anniversary of your passing. It is sad to think of you being lost like that. One wonders what your life would have been like. How you would have looked, your personality, what career path would you have studied for, what lucky guy you would have married, your children, etc, etc. The only description we have, is that Dad went to see you, and told Mom, that you were a cute little girl with real black hair, and you looked very much like Dads side of the family. In other words, you were a true " New Havener". You would have grown up to be so pretty, like you are now in Heaven, alongside Mom and Dad.
We won't forget you dear sister, even after all these years. I tried to get a mass for you this week, but even from last year, they were all taken. So the Sanctuary calendar at church, burns in your honor/memory, all this week.
We will always love you Cindy, and someday when my work is through here, we will meet way up there. Until then, I send all my love. Say hello to Mom and Pop for me, and tell them how much I love and miss them.
Love forever, your brother Jeff xoxo xoxo

Dear Mom,
Happy Mother's Day. The girls and grandchildren gave me cards and flowers for Mother's Day. Your Great grandchildren are so cute now,and Genna who is 1 years old is walking on her own. The girls are taking the older children to the circus today. Remember when you took Eric to the circus? He still is going every year. I miss going to your house for mother's day. When I see the Fushia I think of you and how you loved them. I saw two Red Cardinals yesterday, and thought of you. Mother's Day is not the same when your Mom is in Heaven. Please help Eric with the move to his new apartment. We need movers who are responsible, and not to expensive. The farm is doing well. The animals are healthy, and the flowers are starting to bloom. I had a mass said for you today at church. I offer each mass up for you, dad and cindy when I attend church on Sundays. Watch over us mom. Protect all of us from danger. We love you and miss you everyday. Stay near.
Love,
Marylou

Dear Nana,
Happy Mother's Day! Michele and I went to the circus today. They called it Legends. They showed a picture of Gunther Goebel Williams. There were no legends when we went together. It was a good circus.
I still remember all the good times we had going to the circus. I know you and pop are watching over us. I hope you have a good Mother's Day up there in Heaven.

Dear Mom,
Here we are with Mothers Day arriving again. First, I want to wish you a most wonderful Mothers Day. You must be given so much recognition, and love, for the outstanding Mom, that you were here, and continue to be from up above. I'm sure there are many good Moms out there, but I have never seen too many who gave everything to their family like you have. You were truly selfless, and so devoted to us. The really nice thing about you Mom, is that besides your love and understanding, your support, encouragement, calming presence, wisdom, wonderful sense of humor, etc, You were always there for us. You could always be sure Mom was ready to help. You weren't at the parties and lunches, and traveling the world. You were with your family, and in your beautiful yard. You also helped friends and neighbors who were in trouble. What a fine example to your children.
You know MA, I'm sure the good Lord knows what he is doing, but one big break I wish he would have given to all those who loved and lost a loved one, would be to allow that loved one to visit those left here on earth, even for just a short time, every so often. It would be the greatest gift.
I think about you everyday Mom, and so wish you were able to stay here, in good health for some more time. We would really have a fantastic Mothers Day then.
So thanks for being our Mom, and we will always feel your spirit close to us, on this special day, and everyday.
Love forever, xoxo xoxo,
til we meet again.
Your son, Jeff

Dear Mom and Dad,
Happy Easter to you.
The grandchildren had an easter egg hunt today. They are so cute, especially, little Genna. She looks like a little rabbit herself. Ally had a dress rehearsal on Saturday for a dancing recital. She looked so pretty in her costume. She danced to the music with her fellow classmates.
We miss celebrating Easter with you.The holidays are not the same. I miss the family gatherings. Someday we will celebrate all the holidays together again. Watch over us, Mom and Dad. Keep us safe.Protect us from all danger. We love you always.
Love Marylou
April 19, 2014
Dear Mom, Dad, and Cynthia,
I want to wish you all a most wonderful and happy Easter up there in Heaven. Though I wish you were still here on earth, and miss you terribly, I take comfort that I am sure you are in a beautiful place, and are all safe.
Today we would be getting ready for the Easter feast, with the biggest fleur de lis ham that I could find. And Mom, you would be preparing enough stuff to feed an army. Then we would all be together, and really enjoy the day, with the family, the food, and much laughter. Those days seem like yesterday, but now that's all changed.
The good news is that I am convinced you are all still around in the spirit world, staying close to us, and someday, we will see you all again.
Til then, all I can do is carry on the best I can, and know you aren't that far away.
Please stay with us folks, and keep an eye on things. It has been a real struggle. Say hello to our Grandparents, and close relatives who have crossed over.
It goes without saying, how much we miss and love you all. Happy Easter from here, at your former home.
Til we meet again, Love Forever,
Your son, Jeff xoxo xoxo

Dear mom and dad,
Happy Birthday Dad.
You would be 98 today. You could have reached that age, because you were tough and strong.
The winter has been rough. Snow and bitter cold temp. are really driving everyone crazy. I have locked up the barn for the horse for 3 weeks now.
We never had to lock up the barn the last 3 years, for the hurricane and blizzard.
Does God plan on sending another storm, Dad? Poor Mike went to the doctor today. He has the beginning of bronchitis. The doctor gave him antibiotics. Your great grand children are healthy and beautiful.
Thank you again for our farm and beautiful property and home. you would like it here. Watch over us Dad and keep us safe. Miss you everyday.
Love Marylou

HI DAD,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY UP THERE IN PARADISE. SURE WISH WE COULD ALL BE TOGETHER DOWN HERE AT HOME, CELEBRATING YOUR SPECIAL DAY. WE WOULD ALL GATHER AROUND, AND MOM WOULD PREPARE A FEAST, AND WE WOULD HAVE ALOT OF LAUGHS. THEN WE WOULD HAVE YOUR CAKE, AND PRESENTS. YOU WOULD ALWAYS FOOL AROUND, AND SAY HOW MANY OF THIS OR THAT CAN I USE, OR CAN YOU GET YOUR MONEY BACK, ETC. IT WOULD BE SO FUNNY HEARING THOSE APPRECIATIVE WORDS CONCERNING YOUR GIFTS. I THOUGHT IT WAS A REAL RIOT.
WELL ALL WE CAN DO NOW IS JUST WISH YOU THE VERY BEST BIRTHDAY WITH MOM AND CYNTHIA. THAT DOESN'T MEAN I WON'T BE THINKING OF YOUR SPECIAL DAY RIGHT HERE. I THINK OF YOU AND MOM EVERYDAY, AND MISS YOU BEYOND WORDS. I ALSO WANT TO THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN FOR ALL THAT YOU DID FOR THIS FAMILY. YOU WERE JUST AMAZING.
NOW POP, ON ONE SUBJECT, I HOPE YOU ARE THROUGH FOR THE YEAR. AND THAT IS YOUR PREDICTION THAT ON OR ABOUT YOUR BIRTHDAY, THERE WILL BE SOME KIND OF SNOW STORM. NOW AS FUNNY AS YOU MAY THINK THAT IS, YOUR PREDICTION JUST ABOUT ALWAYS COMES TRUE, AND FOR THIS YEAR, I HAVE HAD IT UP TO HERE. I AM MAKING A CAREER OUT OF THIS SNOW. SO STOP WITH THE SNOW ALREADY. I'M TOO OLD FOR THIS STUFF, AND I'M NOT THAT OLD.
SO THATS ABOUT IT LCA, I WON'T FORGET YOU, NO MATTER HOW MANY YEARS PASS. HAVE A WONDERFUL BIRTHDAY , AND LOVE TO MOM, AND SISTER.
LOVE ALWAYS, AND FOREVER, TIL WE MEET AGAIN.
YOUR SON, JEFF.
January 02, 2014
Dear Nana,
I am sorry this is a little late. Happy New Year to you, Pop and Cindy. I wish you were still around. Do you remember when I gave you that big bear? You were so happy. I gave one to Ally and she had the same look as you when I gave it to her. My prayers are with the family. Keep the faith. Love, EK
December 29, 2013
Dear Mom,
I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy new year. You are in heaven, in eternity, so there is no more years, time in heaven is forever.
Christmas without you and dad is very sad each year. We celebrate with the great grand children and my grand children. I know you can see them and smile as they grow each year. little Genna is adorable, she looks like a little elf crawling around the house. Gunner and Ally are almost three now. They are so cute when they play together.
Gene is working at Dicks and Mike is working at Walmart. We even signed up for the Obamacare, which is insurance down here on earth. The farm and animals are doing well. Mike helps me with the animals and farm work. My job is doing well, taking care of all the cats at the shelter. Mike and I served the Christmas mass this year. We are still ministers of the Eucharist. We sometimes serve the 8:30 am mass, so we have to get up at 6am to take care of the animals. We usally go to the 10:30am mass on Sunday. I offer the masses up for you and dad, when we go to church.
Winter is upon us, and it gets very cold at night. The furnace never stops running.
You must be nice and warm up there. No snow, ice or freezing rain.
Watch over us mom, especially Eric and your great grandchildren. Protect eva, rachel, mark, gene from any misfortunes or dangers. Ask God to send Michele special blessing for all the care she gives Eric.
Love you now and forever.
Marylou and Mike
December 25, 2013
Dear Nana,
It's not like Christmas without you being here. And it's also not the same without Pop. In a couple years I will carry on the circus tradition with my nieces and nephew like you did when I was young. But I know deep inside my head you are having a wonderful time in Heaven and sometimes i think you are right here with me. So Merry Christmas to you Nana and to Pop and Cindy too. Keep the faith. Love, EK
December 24, 2013
GREETINGS, MOM, DAD, AND CYNTHIA,
CHRISTMAS HAS ARRIVED, AND HOW I WISH YOU WERE HERE ON EARTH TO SPEND THE HOLIDAY WITH. THERE ARE SO MANY MEMORIES. MOM, YOU ALWAYS HAD SUCH BEAUTIFUL DECORATIONS, AND SPENT SO MUCH TIME ON YOUR CRAFTS, AND HOMEMADE WREATHES, TREES, ORNAMENTS, BOWES,WINDOW DISPLAYS,REAL TREES, ARTIFICIAL TREES, YOUR LITTLE FAVORITE ONE IN THE DEN, AND ON AND ON. THEN ALL YOUR WREATHES OUTSIDE TOO. YOU EVEN PUT UP WITH ME HAVING TEMPER TANTRUMS TRYING TO PUT UP STUFF, OR GOING "OVER THE TOP" WITH MY OUTSIDE STUFF. ONE TIME YOU EVEN SAID THAT I WAS MAKING THE HOUSE LOOK LIKE A GIANT LONG "GAS STATION", WHEN ALL LIT AT NIGHT.
THEN THERE WAS THE FOOD. JUST UNBELIEVABLE. NOT ONE OR 2 THINGS, BUT SO MUCH STUFF, ONE WOULDN'T KNOW WHERE TO START FILLING YOUR PLATE. AND ALL THE FUN, GATHERING AROUND OPENING PRESENTS. DAD, WHEN WE WERE YOUNGER, YOU WOULD DRIVE YOURSELF CRAZY, RUNNING AROUND, MAKING DEALS, TO GET US SUCH BIG SURPRISES IN GIFTS. YOU WERE THE BEST.
OF COURSE NOW ALL HAS CHANGED. BACK THEN, I NEVER REALIZED, THAT THOSE INDEED WERE THE GOOD OLD DAYS. I NEVER THOUGHT YOU BOTH WOULD GET INTO BIG TROUBLE WITH THE SAME UNFORGIVING, RELENTLESS DISEASE. MOM, YESTERDAY I WAS IN A STORE, AND THEY STARTED PLAYING A CHRISTMAS SONG, BY ONE OF YOUE FAVORITE ITALIAN SINGERS[FIRST NAME DEAN], AND IT HAD TO DO WITH MARSHMALLOWS. I IMMEDIATELY FELT SAD, BECAUSE IT WAS ONLY A FEW YEARS AGO, THAT I PUT THAT ON THE JUKEBOX FOR YOU, AND YOU ALWAYS LIKED THAT. YOU LIKED LOOKING AT YOUR TREE, AND ESPECIALLY THE SMALL ONE IN THE WINDOW.
I CAN ONLY SAY, THAT YOU ARE ALL MISSED SO TERRIBLY, AND LOVED SO VERY MUCH. I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU, AND HOPE YOUR SPIRITS ARE AROUND US.I WISH YOU THE MOST WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS, UP ABOVE THE STARS, AND THANK YOU FOR BEING THE BEST FOLKS, I COULD EVER HAVE HOPED FOR. SISTER CINDY, I BET YOURE THE CUTEST, BLACK HAIRED BEAUTY UP IN HEAVEN, NOW REUNITED WITH MOM AND DAD. REGARDS TO GRANDMA AND GRANDPA TOO.
LOVE FOREVER,
YOUR SON,AND BROTHER, JEFF XOXO XOXO

HELLO MOM, DAD, AND CYNTHIA.
HARD TO BELIEVE THAT THANKSGIVING IS HERE AGAIN. THE TIME GOES BY SO FAST. AS ALWAYS WISH YOU WERE ALL HERE, SO WE COULD HAVE A REAL FAMILY GET-TOGETHER, AND A BIG FEAST. IT WOULD BE SO GREAT TO HAVE THE FAMILY ALL GATHERED AROUND, AND EVERYONE HEALTHY AND HAPPY, AND OF COURSE THE WONDERFUL LAUGHTER. EVERY YEAR WE DID THIS , AND THEN AT THE END OF THE FESTIVITIES, BESIDES ALL THE PIES, AND ICECREAM ROLL, ETC, WE WOULD EVEN BRING OUT THE HUGE BIRTHDAY CAKE FOR MOMS BIRTHDAY. IT WAS ALL WHIPPED CREAM, WITH STRAWBERRIES, AND PEACHES INSIDE. AND WE ALWAYS HAD HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM-HAPPY BIRTHDAY JODY PUT ON THE TOP. THOSE WERE THE DAYS. THEY SEEM LIKE ONLY A SHORT TIME AGO. WHERE DID THE TIME GO? THE DAMN SICKNESS RUINED EVERYTHING. NOW OF COURSE, IT WILL NEVER BE THE SAME. THE VOID IS ALWAYS THERE. BUT WE KNOW YOU ARE ALL SAFE, AND IN A BEAUTIFUL HOME UP THERE, RECEIVING YOUR EARNED JUST REWARDS. JUST TOO BAD WE COULDN'T HEAR FROM YOU NOW AND THEN. IT WOULD BE SO NICE.
WELL FOLKS, I WISH YOU THE MOST WONDERFUL THANKSGIVING WAY UP YONDER, AND PLEASE KEEP AN EYE ON US DOWN HERE. ALSO REGARDS TO GRANDMA AND GRANDPA, ON BOTH SIDES, AND ANY OTHER FAMILY YOU ARE NEAR. WE LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH, AND MISS YOU TREMENDOUSLY.
SOMEDAY, WHEN ARE WORK IS DONE HERE, WE WILL SEE YOU ALL AGAIN. UNTIL THEN,LOVE ALWAYS, AND FOREVER. YOUR SON AND BROTHER, JEFF XOXO XOXO.
P.S ON THIS THANKSGIVING, AND EVERYDAY, THANKS MOM AND DAD, FOR ALL THE SACRIFICES YOU MADE, TO GIVE US A BETTER LIFE.

Dear Mom,
Happy birthday. I really miss celebrating your birthday. We celebrated your birthday on Thanksgiving. You loved the fusia I usually brought and the pointsetta plant.
Thanksgiving is not the same without you and dad here. Mike's birthday falls close to Thanksgiving this year.He is still searching for a job. Put in a good word for him with god. We have to get insurance and find a new doctor also. The doctor we have is cutting back his practice and doesn't want the Obamacare. The insurance companies are ruling the world today. The grand children are doing well. Your great-grand children are all beautiful and healthy. Stay close to us and protect us always.
Miss you more each year. Especially the holidays.
Love Marylou and Mike
November 16, 2013
Dear Nana,
Happy Birthday. I recently got a nice picture of you and pop. It looks very good. I wish I could see you on your birthday but I know you are looking down on us. When I broke my foot I was scared but I knew you and Pop were watching over me. I hope you are having a ball on your birthday. I love you. Keep the faith.
Love EK
November 15, 2013
DEAR MOM,
ONCE AGAIN IT IS YOUR BIRTHDAY. HOW WONDERFUL IT WOULD BE TO HAVE YOU RIGHT HERE AT HOME WITH US, CELEBRATING YOUE SPECIAL DAY. ALTHOUGH WE CANNOT HAVE A FAMILY GET-TOGETHER, AND WE CAN'T HAVE A DINNER, AND GIVE YOU YOUR GIFTS, AND OF COURSE THE CAKE, WITH HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM-HAPPY BIRTHDAY JODY ON IT, WE WILL ALWAYS BE THINKING OF YOU, ALWAYS BE MISSING YOU, AND ALWAYS LOVE YOU, NO MATTER HOW MUCH TIME GOES ON. THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN LOTS OF LAUGHTER TO GO WITH YOUR DAY, BUT WE STILL HAVE THE MANY MEMORIES OF WHAT SEEMS LIKE JUST YESTERDAY. YOU MADE A HOUSE A WONDERFUL HOME, AND A BETTER MOTHER COULD NEVER BE FOUND. THE GOOD LORD SURE KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING, WHEN HE BLESSED US WITH YOU MOM. YOU SURE LOVED US, AND WERE ALWAYS THERE FOR US AT ALL TIMES. IT JUST ISN'T THE SAME NOW, BUT WE ABSOLUTELY BELIEVE THAT YOUR SPIRIT IS AROUND, AND YOU REMAIN CLOSE TO US.
I WANT TO WISH YOU A REALLY NICE BIRTHDAY UP THERE, AND KNOW YOU ARE IN A BEAUTIFUL PLACE, ENJOYING YOUR MUCH DESERVED REWARD.
GIVE OUR LOVE TO DAD AND CYNTHIA. THANKS FOR EVERYTHING MOM.
TIL WE MEET AGAIN,LOVE FOREVER, YOUR SON,JEFF. XOXO
October 06, 2013
To Jeff and Nana,
Grandma I know you were there for me during my surgery. It was a bigger surgery than I have ever had. Before I had my surgery I said a little prayer to you and Pop. Jeff came to be with me for the surgery which helped a lot. He made it to the surgery center right before I went into the surgery so I was glad to see him but didn't remember seeing him when the surgery was done. I can't begin to tell him how much I appreciate him being there for me that day.
I am sorry I didn't write on your anniversary but with this surgery it has taken me some time to feel better. I am still recovering but please know I love you and think of you often. And believe me, I will be up and going soon. Keep the faith. Love, EK
October 03, 2013
DEAR MOM,
TODAY MARKS THE 4TH ANNIVERSARY OF YOUR PASSING. IT SEEMS IMPOSSIBLE THAT 4 YEARS COULD HAVE GONE BY. WHEN DAD PASSED, WE ALWAYS USED TO SAY THAT IT SEEMED ABOUT HALF OF THE REAL NUMBER OF YEARS THAT HAD PASSED. THE SAME AS THIS FEELS. TO ME, IT FEELS LIKE A LITTLE LESS THAN 2 YEARS. I CAN REMEMBER IT ALL, AS IF YESTERDAY. VERY SAD CIRCUMSTANCES. IF THINGS WERE ACCORDING TO PLAN, WE WOULD MOST LIKELY STILL HAVE YOU WITH US RIGHT HERE ON EARTH.
YOU KNOW THAT EXPRESSION THAT THE MORE THINGS CHANGE, THE MORE THEY STAY THE SAME, WELL IF YOU WERE TO LOOK OVER THINGS, YOU WOULD SEE THAT FOR THE MOST PART, EVERYTHING REMAINS THE SAME. THE HUGE CHANGE, IS NOT HAVING YOU HERE. THATS THE TERRIBLE VOID THAT WE CAN'T CHANGE.
ANYWAY, I'M SURE THAT YOU KNOW ALL THIS ALREADY, BUT I WANT YOU TO HEAR IT ONCE AGAIN. YOU WILL ALWAYS BE CHERISHED, YOU WILL ALWAYS BE MISSED TERRIBLY EVERY DAY, AND YOU WILL BE LOVED FOREVER. I BELIEVE IN MY HEART THAT YOUR SPIRIT IS STILL AROUND, AND YOU HAVE TRANSITIONED FROM HERE TO YOUR BEAUTIFUL HOME, AND RECEIVED YOUR MUCH DESERVED REWARD.
STAY WITH US MOM, KEEP WATCHING OVER US. PUT IN A GOOD WORD FOR OUR HEALTH PROBLEMS IF YOU CAN. I AM REALLY GETTING BOMBARDED WITH TROUBLE. ERIC JUST HAD A MAJOR OPERATION ON HIS FOOT, AND NEEDS A GOOD RESULT. I KNOW WERE SUPPOSSED TO PRAY FOR YOU, BUT SEE WHAT YOU CAN DO.
THATS ALL FOR NOW. YOUR BIRTHDAY WILL BE HERE BEFORE YOU KNOW IT. LOVE TO DAD AND CINDY. A MASS FOR YOU SUNDAY.
UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN, LOVE ALWAYS, LOVE FOREVER,
YOUR SON JEFF XOXO XOXO
October 03, 2013
Dear Mom,
You have been gone just 4 years, but it seems like just one year.
The good news is that Rachel finally got the mortgage after 2 years. Most of the money I am putting in an annuity. I am still working, but I want to have some security blanket. Thanks to you and dad. I will check into social security soon. Eric had to have surgery on his foot. It was successful, thanks to the graces of god and you and dad. Thanks also for sending the knee walker. I have a little cat named squeak. She has green eyes and the color of her fur is the same as your hair. She follows me everywhere. Mike is going for an interview at Macy's for the second time. Hope he gets the job. Mom, put in a good word for him.
The grandchildren, your great- grandchildren are getting bigger and are so beautiful. I know you see them, and watch over them everyday.
You and dad are always welcome on our farm. We have a forest of trees! You would like our grotto too. Dad would like our porch.
Thanks for making all that we have possible. A beautiful piece of property, more than you could ask for. The grandchildren love the horse and sheep. A repair man told us we had a resort!
Say hello to everyone for me, especially Uncle Fifi, and Anna Marie.
Stay close, mom and dad. Protect us and your grandchildren and great children from all harm.
Love You Mary Lou
June 16, 2013
Dear Pop,
I remember this funny thing that I did to you. We were all at a family dinner, don't remember which holiday, before I saw you I showed a costume to Jeff, Greg and Barbara. They dared me to put on the dog suit and I tapped you on your shoulder. You turned and laughed so hard. Then I said "Pop would you like to put on the head." You said yes. Then you dared me to go down your street with the costume on. Happy Father's Day. I hope you are having fun with Nana and Cindy. Keep the faith. Love EK
June 15, 2013
DEAR DAD,
I WANT TO WISH YOU A VERY HAPPY FATHERS DAY UP THERE. YOU WILL HAVE MOM AND CYNTHIA TO HONOR YOU ON YOUR SPECIAL DAY. WE WILL HAVE TO HONOR YOU FROM HERE, AND CANNOT HAVE ANY CELEBRATION, OR FAMILY GET TOGETHERS. BUT AS LONG AS WE ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU, AND THINK OF YOU, AND HAVE OUR LOVE FOR YOU, WE CAN STILL SALUTE YOU ON FATHERS DAY, AND ANY DAY FOR THAT MATTER. I JUST WISH BOTH MOM AND YOU COULD HAVE JUST STAYED AROUND FOR ALOT LONGER, AND HUNG OUT WITH US. IT IS VERY DIFFICULT HAVING YOU BOTH GONE FROM HERE. BUT STRONGLY BELIEVING YOUR SPIRITS ARE STILL AROUND, AND WE WILL SEE EACH OTHER AGAIN SOME DAY, MAKES THINGS A LITTLE BETTER.
THANKS FOR EVERYTHING YOU DID FOR US DAD. ALL THE HARD WORK AND SACRIFICES, ARE VERY MUCH APPRECIATED. YOU WERE ALWAYS A DEVOTED FAMILY MAN.I KNOW THE GOOD LORD HAS FINALLY GIVEN YOU YOUR EARNED REWARD WAY UP YONDER.
ENJOY YOUR DAY WITH JODY [MOM ], AND CYNTHIA. THE ULTIMATE FOR YOU, WOULD BE NOT ONLY TO HAVE YOUR 2 LOVED ONES BY YOUR SIDE, CELEBRATING YOUR DAY, BUT TO HAVE A REAL FEAST BESIDES. I KNOW HOW IMPORTANT FOOD WAS TO YOUR FAMILY WHEN YOU WERE GROWING UP, AND THAT COTINUED FOR LIFE. I WONDER IF THEY HAVE ALL THAT GOODNESS UP IN HEAVEN?
STAY CLOSE POP,AND HAPPY FATHERS DAY.
ISEND MY LOVE TO YOU ALL. YOUR SON, JEFF.
June 11, 2013
Dear Dad,
I can not believe you have been gone from earth for 20 years. I miss you especially when dealing with financial matters. You always gave me good advice. The farm is good, still waiting for Rachel to be approved for a mortgage. Maybe, sometime in august. Dad, please make sure she is approved, so I can put the money into my savings account and annuity.
Mike is hoping for a job at Sears or home depot. Please ask God to grant this request. Keep an eye on Eric, he is trying to regain his health. Please ask God to restore his health. Watch over your grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jenna, Rachel's little girl is only 5 weeks old.
Happy fathers day, Dad. You are the best dad anyone could have asked for. Thanks for all you have done for me and my children.I miss you more now, especially on Father's Day. Watch over us Dad, keep us safe.
Love Mary Lou
June 11, 2013
DEAR DAD,
WELL, IT SEEMS ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE, BUT WED JUNE 12TH, MARKS THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY SINCE YOU LEFT US IN 1993. MOM AND ME ALWAYS SAID THAT IT SEEMED ABOUT HALF THE TIME HAD GONE BY, WHENEVER WE THOUGHT ABOUT THE YEARS PASSING. THAT IS TRUE FOR NOW AS WELL. IT FEELS NO MORE THAN 10 OR SO YEARS. WHERE THE HECK DID 20 YEARS GO? I CAN REMEMBER IT ALL LIKE IT WAS YESTERDAY.
I MISS YOU DAD, AND I TRIED EVERYTHING I COULD DO TO KEEP YOU HERE WITH US. I REMEMBER IN THE HOSPITAL, YOU SAID THAT I WAS TRYING TO KEEP YOU ALIVE IN THE WORST WAY. WHEN YOU LEFT, AFTER FIGHTING SO HARD, AND SHOWING SUCH BRAVERY AND COURAGE, THE HOUSE WAS NOT THE SAME. BUT WE DID OUR BEST, AND YOU WERE HELPING US FROM ABOVE.
I WANT TO THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK AND SACRIFICES, SO WE ALL COULD HAVE A BETTER LIFE. I KNOW A LOT OF OUR THOUGHTS AND COMMUNICATIONS, ARE FOCUSED ON MOM, BUT THATS BECAUSE HER LEAVING WAS NOT SO LONG AGO, AND WE REMAINED SO CLOSE TO HER FOR 16 YEARS. THAT DOESN'T MEAN WE HAVE FORGOTTEN YOU DAD. NEVER WILL THAT HAPPEN.
I WANT TO HONOR YOU ON YOUR ANNIVERSARY, AND TELL YOU HOW MUCH I APPRECIATE EVERYTHING YOU DID FOR THIS FAMILY. I AM PROUD OF THE SUCCESS YOU MADE OF YOURSELF, AFTER COMING FROM SUCH TOUGH CIRCUMSTANCES. WHEN YOU THINK OF THE ODDS AGAINST YOU, IT REALLY IS AMAZING. IT DIDN'T HURT TO BE SO SMART EITHER.
SO DAD, UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN, BE HAPPY UP THERE WITH YOUR JODY, AND CYNTHIA.
I SEND MY LOVE TO YOU ALL. KEEP WATCHING OVER US, AND STAY CLOSE. I KNOW YOUR SPIRITS ARE STILL AROUND.
LOVE ALWAYS, AND FOREVER, YOUR SON JEFF.
May 22, 2013
MAY 20TH,2013.
DEAR SISTER CYNTHIA, IT IS NOW YOUR 65TH ANNIVERSARY. IT IS REALLY HARD TO BELIEVE. WE LOST YOU 5/20/48. WHERE HAS THE TIME GONE. BUT TIME WILL NEVER CAUSE US TO FORGET YOU. YOU WERE THE FIRST BABY OF OUR FAMILY. NOW YOU HAVE MOM AND DAD WITH YOU UP THERE, ALL TOGETHER IN YOUR BEAUTIFUL HOME. DAD TOLD MOM THAT WHEN HE WENT TO SEE YOU THAT TRAGIC DAY, YOU WERE A CUTE LITTLE BLACK HAIRED GIRL, WHO RESEMBLED HIS SIDE OF THE FAMILY.
I AM HAVING A MASS SAID FOR YOU THIS SUNDAY SWEETHEART. KNOW THAT WE WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU, AND SOMEDAY WE WILL SEE YOU. IN THE MEANTIME, I KNOW YOU ARE HAPPY WITH OUR FOLKS. TODAY WE REMEMBER AND HONOR YOU, BUT EVERYDAY WE THINK OF YOU.
LOVE ALWAYS AND FOREVER. XOXO
YOUR BROTHER,JEFF
May 12, 2013
Dear Nana,
Happy Mother's Day! I hope you are doing well. I knew you had some prayers for me this weekend as it was a tough weekend for me but I made it through. I did not make it to the circus this year but I will get to see this show in either Bridgeport or Worcester before it finishes. Thank you for helping to mend fences in our family as I know you had a part in it happening. Again Happy Mother's Day and know that I love you and think of you every day. Keep the Faith. Love, EK
May 11, 2013
Dear Mom,
Happy Mother's Day!
You always loved the Fushia for mother's day. We miss you everyday, but especially on mother's day. Rachel had a little baby girl last sunday. Now you have three great-grandchildren. Her name is Jenna Rae. She is the cutest little baby with lots of hair. Please watch over the new baby and all your great grandchildren.
Please help eric who is trying to adjust to a change in his meds. He is having a real difficult time. Please help the doctors to find a solution to the problem. Mom, please help Rachel and Gene to get a mortgage for my old house. The banks make it hard these days to obtain a mortgage. Mike has an interview on Monday for a job at Home depot. Please ask God to grant him this job. I know you are very close to the mother of God. Please ask her for protection of all your children and their children. Thank you again for all you have done for me and my children.
My grandchildren call me Nana just like you. I will try to be a good Nana, but will never be as great as you.
Love you today and forever. Marylou
May 11, 2013
GREETINGS MOM,
WELL HERE WE ARE WITH ANOTHER MOTHERS DAY ARRIVING. WHERE DOES THE TIME GO. I'M SURE I DON'T HAVE TO TELL YOU OVER AND OVER AGAIN, HOW MUCH I WISH YOU WERE HERE, ENJOYING YOUR SPECIAL DAY, AND AT THE SAME TIME BRINGING HAPPINESS TO ALL OF US AS WELL. I CAN'T GET YOU YOUR PINK CARNATIONS, OR YOUR FLOWERS FOR PLANTING IN YOUR SPECTACULAR GARDENS, OR GET YOUR FAVORITE PIZZAS, AND ICE- CREAM, OR HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY HONORING YOU WITH OUR FAMILY GATHERED AROUND. IT WOULD BE SUCH A HAPPY AND JOYFUL DAY. ALL I CAN DO NOW IS JUST KEEP REMEMBERING YOU, AND WHAT A BLESSING IT WAS, AND STILL IS TO HAVE YOU FOR OUR MOM. I WOULDN'T WANT ANY OTHER MOTHER FOR ALL THE RICHES IN THE WORLD. I COULD NEVER PAY YOU BACK FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE, AND ALWAYS, ALWAYS,BEING THERE, NO MATTER WHAT.
I BELIEVE YOUR SPIRIT IS AROUND, AND SOMEDAY WE WILL SEE YOU AGAIN. UNTIL THEN, ENJOY THE REWARD YOU SO SURELY DESERVE, AND BE HAPPY WITH DAD AND CYNTHIA.
MOM I WISH YOU THE MOST WONDERFUL MOTHERS DAY UP THERE ABOVE THE CLOUDS, IN YOUR BEAUTIFUL GARDEN. NO-ONE CAN EVER TAKE AWAY THE LOVE I HAVE FOR YOU.
LOVE ALWAYS,AND FOREVER,
YOUR SON, JEFF XOXO XOXO
PS- I WILL DO MY BEST TO PLANT YOUR SAFARI YELLOW MARIGOLDS AT THE CEMETERY.

Dear Mom and Dad and Cindy,
Happy Easter to all.
We miss you more especially during the holidays. Easter came to early this year. Please ask God to send Mike another job, hopefully with some insurance. He is trying so hard to find employment, since his sears was brought out by a franchise. The farm is good, the animals are healthy. Rachel will be having a baby girl in May. A great-granddaughter for you.
Eric is doing better. He his a new apartment. Please watch over him and protect him.
Jeff is trying real hard to keep your house in good condition. Please watch over Jeff also. Keep him safe. Let him know, Mom and Dad that you are near. Easter will never be the same now that you are in heaven.
love you always,
miss you always,
Love Mary Lou

Dear Nana and Pop and Cindy,
I remember one thing about Easter at your house. You made your own croissants and you gave me a lot to take home. I was buying some croissants at the store the other day and I told this lady in the store about you Nana. I told her no one makes better croissants than you did. I wanted to let you know that I will be playing your song, Somewhere My Love, at the end of all my DJ jobs from now on. I wish we could have Easter like we used to when you were here and the whole family would be together. I miss that. I miss you all. Nana, I want to say thank you for the help you are giving me now because I know you are looking out for me and are with me. I hope you are proud of the ways I am working to be a better person. Nana, Pop and Cindy, I hope you are having a wonderful time where you are. I know you are in a wonderful place. Happy Easter, Nana, Pop & Cindy. Keep the Faith. Love, Eric.

HELLO MOM, DAD, AND CYNTHIA. EASTER IS HERE ONCE AGAIN. BOY, HOW THE TIME IS FLYING BY. MOM, I HAVE A PICTURE OF YOU IN THE KITCHEN, AND IT IS YOU STANDING IN FRONT OF THE OVEN, HOLDING A HUGE PAN WITH A 13-15 POUND COOKED, FLEUR DE LIS BONELESS HAM, FOR EASTER. THOSE WERE THE DAYS. LATER WE GOT SMART, AND MADE IT THE DAY BEFORE. IN THE LAST COUPLE YEARS, WE GOT THE BREAK OF COOKING THE HAM, BUT HAVING THE DINNER AT GREGS. IT ALL SEEMS LIKE SUCH A SHORT TIME AGO. HOW WONDERFUL TO HAVE EVERYONE GATHERED AROUND, ALL HEALTHY, ENJOYING THE FEAST, AND THE SOUND OF LAUGHTER. HOW I WISH YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO LEAVE US MOM. IT WILL NEVER BE THE SAME. I HAVE NEVER SEEN A MOM WHO DID SO MUCH, AND ASKED FOR SO LITTLE. YOU WILL ALWAYS BE LOVED AND MISSED, NO MATTER HOW MUCH TIME PASSES.
DAD, I'M NOT LEAVING YOU OUT.I THINK ABOUT YOU, AND MISS YOU ALSO. IT'S JUST THAT MOMS LEAVING US IS SO RECENT. DAD YOU DID A TREMENDOUS AMOUNT OF GOOD FOR OUR FAMILY, AND AGAIN ASKED FOR LITTLE. IT WAS A SHOCK TO SEE YOU LEAVE US IN SUCH A SHORT TIME. SISTER CINDY, YOU NOW HAVE YOUR MOM AND DAD WITH YOU. YOU ARE NOW A FAMILY IN HEAVEN.
I WANT TO WISH YOU MOM, DAD, AND CINDY A WONDEFUL EASTER IN HEAVEN, AND SEND MY LOVE TO MY GRANDPARENTS.
I LOVE YOU ALL,AND MISS YOU MORE THAN WORDS CAN SAY.
UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN,
LOVE ALWAYS, LOVE FOREVER,
YOUR SON, AND BROTHER, JEFF. XOXO XOXO
February 07, 2013
HI DAD,
WELL IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY, AND SURE ENOUGH, AS YOU TOLD US OVER AND OVER AGAIN, "ON OR ABOUT MY BIRTHDAY, THERE WILL BE SNOW, OR A BIG STORM, ETC", THEY ARE PREDICTING A HUGE SNOW STORM, FOR FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY. SO ONE DAY AFTER YOUR BIRTHDAY QUALIFIES FOR SURE. AS MUCH AS I VALUE YOUR PREDICTIONS, I REALLY WISH THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN. WE HAVE ALL HAD IT UP TO HERE WITH THE COLD, AND THESE HUGE STORMS.
BUT ANYWAY, I WANT TO WISH YOU THE MOST WONDERFUL BIRTHDAY UP THERE WITH DEAR MOM AND CYNTHIA BY YOUR SIDE. YOU DESERVE A BIG CELEBRATION, THATS FOR SURE. YOU DID SO MUCH FOR THIS FAMILY WITH YOUR HARD WORK AND BEING SELFLESS, THAT WE COULD NEVER REPAY YOU. I MISS YOU AND MOM SO MUCH, AND LOVE YOU BOTH BEYOND WORDS. IT SEEMS JUST A SHORT TIME AGO, THAT YOU WERE RIGHT HERE AT YOUR HOME ON EARTH. I GUESS TIME JUST WENT BY SO FAST THAT IT'S VERY HARD TO BELIEVE THOSE YEARS HAVE ACTUALLY PAST.
I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU DAD, AND I THINK OF YOU AND MOM MANY TIMES EVERYDAY. STAY CLOSE TO US, AND KEEP WATCHING OVER US.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD. TIL WE MEET AGAIN, MY LOVE TO YOU, MOM AND SISTER CINDY.
LOVE ALWAYS, AND FOREVER. XOXO XOXO
YOUR SON, JEFF
February 07, 2013
Dear Mom and Dad,
Today is your birthday, Dad. I can not believe you have been away from us for 20 years. A lot has changed down here. The price of oil and gas are going way up. Just to see a doctor or dentist is $100 or more. There is no bartering system anymore. The greed for money is bringing the world down.
Thank goodness, Mike and I are both working. many people are unemployed, with families and homes. We are doing ok we pay our bills and do not waste money on things we do not need.
One thing has not changed. Your prediction of snow on your birthday, or before or after you birthday. A noreastern is coming friday. Keep an eye on us Dad. Especially your great grandchildren. You will have another grandchild in May a girl. Keep a close watch on eric and keep all of us down on earth safe. We miss you very much, Thanks for all you did for us. love MaryLou
December 31, 2012
Dear Nana, Pop & Cindy,
I wish you all a Happy New Year! I just want to say Thank you for all the good signs you have given me. I think 2013 will be an exciting year for our family. I know you are watching over us so we will be alright. I love you. Keep the faith. Love, EK
December 24, 2012
Dear Mom, Dad and Cindy,
Merry Christmas to all of you. I miss you very much, but especially during the holidays. your little grandchildren are getting bigger and so cute. Rachel will be having another baby in may a little girl, just in time for mother's day. Our farm is doing well, the horse and sheep are healthy and beautiful. Mom and dad you would love it here, with all the trees, woods and privacy. Thank you for my little farm.
I miss our family gatherings at Christmas. The wonderful dinners you had mom. The beautiful trees you decorated. We had such good times at your house.
No Christmas will be as wonderful as the ones we shared together.
Watch over us mom and dad.
Keep us safe from all harm. Please watch over your grandchildren. Keep an eye on your kids too. We need your protection in a world of uncertainty and danger. The world on earth is not a peaceful place, because mankind tries to eliminate God from the world. jesus came into the world to save the world. Sadly, many people have turned away from the prince of peace. As a result, the world is in chaos. Please ask the baby Jesus to protect our families. You are very close to him. He will listen to you, when you ask God to watch over your children.
Love you now and forever. Marylou
December 24, 2012
Dear Nana,
I just want to wish you a Merry Christmas along with Pop & Cindy. I hope your doing good and I am always thinking about you.
I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a beautiful Happy New Year! Things will get better. Keep the Faith.
Love, EK
December 24, 2012
HI MOM, DAD, AND CYNTHIA. CHRISTMAS IS HERE, AND I WANT TO WISH YOU ALL A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS UP IN HEAVEN. WISH IT COULD BE HERE ON EARTH WITH THE REST OF US AT YOUR FORMER HOME, BUT WILL HAVE TO MAKE DO.
CHRISTMAS BRINGS BACK ALL THE MEMORIES OF MOMS DECORATIONS, HER TREE, THE INDOOR AND OUTDOOR DISPLAYS, WREATHES, ETC. TWO TREES, ONE WITH HER HANDMADE ORNAMENTS, AND THE OTHER LIVE ONE WITH THE ELVES. I ALSO REMEMBER THE UNBELIEVABLE DINNERS, AND EVERYONE TOGETHER, HEALTHY AND HAPPY. MOM AND DAD, YOU WERE SO THOUGHTFUL AND GENEROUS TO US WITH YOUR SURPRISE CHRISTMAS GIFTS. ALWAYS SOME SPECTACULAR THING WAITING FOR US CHRISTMAS MORNING. WE WERE UP AT 5:30 IN THE MORNING TO GO SEE OUR PRESENTS. YOU GUYS HAD TO STAY UP LATE CHRISTMAS EVE TO GET EVERYTHING READY. I WILL NEVER FORGET THE PINBALL MACHINE THAT DAD GOT FOR ME. I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT. IN THOSE DAYS IT WAS UNHEARD OF, TO HAVE ONE IN YOUR HOME. I STILL CHERISH IT TODAY, AND WILL NEVER SELL IT. TO HAVE PARENTS LIKE YOU, WAS A TRUE BLESSING FROM THE LORD ABOVE.
ON THE LIGHTER SIDE, MOM I SURE MUST HAVE RAISED YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE WHEN IT CAME TO THE LIVE TREE, AND THE OUTDOOR DECORATIONS. I CAN REMEMBER STRUGGLING TRYING TO GET THE TREE THROUGH THE DOORWAY, INTO THE STAND, ETC,ETC. THE SWEARING AND CARRYING ON WERE TO THE POINT THAT YOU LEFT THE HOUSE, AND LEFT ME THERE UNDER THIS TREE, TRYING TO FASTEN THE SCREWS FROM THE STAND AND GET THE TREE STRAIGHT. WHEN IT CAME TO THE OUTSIDE DECOR, I ALWAYS WANTED TO KICK IT UP ANOTHER NOTCH, AND YOU WANTED TASTEFUL. SO YOUR 2 SAYINGS WERE, " JEFFREY, IF YOURE GOING TO START WITH THE SWEARING AND TEMPER TANTRUMS, PLEASE DON'T PUT UP ANYTHING, AND JUST HELP ME WITH MY WREATHES, AND A COUPLE OF SPOTLIGHTS." THE 2ND SAYING WAS, " PLEASE DON'T MAKE THE OUTSIDE OF THIS HOUSE LOOK LIKE A GAS STATION, WITH TOO MUCH OF YOUR STUFF AND LIGHTS, AND SPOTLIGHTS ". WHEN I THINK BACK NOW, IT WAS REALLY FUNNY.
THE OTHER THING THAT WAS FUNNY,WAS WHEN BROTHER GREG WAS IN HIS OWN HOUSE, STRUGGLED TO GET A LIVE TREE IN,AND LATER DECIDED TO HELP THE TREE BUY ADDING A LIQUID FERTALIZER INTENDED FOR GROWTH OF FLOWERS, BUSHES, ETC. THE NEXT DAY, HIS HOUSEHOLD WOKE UP TO A VAPORIZED TREE, WITH ONE MAIN BRANCH, AND PILES OF BURN'T NEEDLES ALL OVER THE FLOOR. AFTER HUGE CLEAN-UP, HE HAD TO GO GET ANOTHER ONE.
THESE ARE JUST A FEW OF THE MEMORIES.
THE ONE THING THAT WILL NEVER CHANGE IS MY LOVE FOR YOU. I KNOW I WILL SEE YOU AGAIN SOMEDAY, AND THATS WHATS GETTING ME THROUGH THESE TRYING TIMES.
MERRY CHRISTMAS MOM. MERRY CHRISTMAS DAD. MERRY CHRISTMAS CINDY.
LOVE FOREVER. XOXO XOXO
YOUR SON, AND BROTHER, JEFF.

HELLO MOM ,DAD AND CYNTHIA.
IT'S HARD TO BELIEVE THAT THANKSGIVING DAY IS UPON US ALREADY. IT BRINGS BACK SUCH WONDERFUL, AND HAPPY DAYS. THE FAMILY ALL WELL, THE TREMENDOUS FEASTS YOU PREPARED, AND THE HAPPINESS AND LAUGHTER ALL AROUND US.
HOW I WISH THINGS DIDN'T HAVE TO CHANGE SO SOON, AND UNEXPECTEDLY. WELL, THE BEST THING TO DO, IS WISH YOU MOM, AND DAD, CYNTHIA, AND OUR GRANDPARENTS , A JOYOUS THANKSGIVING UP IN HEAVEN. I KNOW YOU ARE ALL TOGETHER IN A BEAUTIFUL GARDEN. I HOPE THERE IS FOOD IN HEAVEN, CAUSE DAD AND HIS SIBLINGS WOULD BE AWFULLY DISAPPOINTED IF THERE WAS NOT. [ HA HA ] SORRY DAD, NO DISRESPECT INTENDED. BUT SERIOUSLY, I AM COMFORTED KNOWING YOU ARE ALL SAFE AND SOUND.
AS USUAL, THERE ARE NO WORDS TO EXPRESS HOW MUCH YOU ARE MISSED AND LOVED. I KNOW YOUR SPIRITS ARE AROUND. SOMEDAY WE WILL BE REUNITED, WHEN MY WORK IS FINISHED HERE ON EARTH. THE HOLIDAYS WILL NEVER BE THE SAME WITHOUT YOU HERE. WITH THIS HORRIBLE COLITIS, I WON'T BE HAVING ANT TURKEY FEAST, BUT I WILL STILL BE THINKING OF YOU, AND THE DAY WILL GO BY.
I LOVE YOU ALL, AND WILL NEVER FORGET YOU. STAY NEAR.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING UP YONDER.
LOVE FOREVER, YOUR SON, YOUR BROTHER, JEFF XOXO XOXO.
November 16, 2012
DEAR MOM,
WELL ONCE AGAIN ITS YOUR BIRTHDAY. WHEN I THINK OF YOUR BIRTHDAY, I REMEMBER ALL THE SPECIAL THINGS DONE TO SHOW OUR LOVE FOR YOU. I REMEMBER BRINGING YOU THE PINK CARNATIONS YOU LIKED SO MUCH. I REMEMBER GETTING THE PIZZAS FOR LUNCH. THEN ON THANKSGIVING, WE ALWAYS COMBINED YOUR BIRTHDAY. YOU WOULD MAKE AN ABSOLUTE FEAST. AT DESSERT TIME, BESIDES YOUR PUMPKIN AND APPLE PIES, I WOULD ALWAYS BRING OUT THE LARGE BIRTHDAY CAKE, WITH THE CREAM, STRAWBERRIES, AND PEACHES. IT WOULD SAY HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM, AND JODY, THE NAME DAD ALWAYS HAD FOR YOU. THEN YOU WOULD HAVE YOUR PRESENTS, AND WE WOULD HAVE ALOT OF LAUGHS. BOY, THOSE WERE THE DAYS MOM.
WHEN I THINK YOU COULD EASILY BE HERE RIGHT NOW, IF ONLY YOU RECIEVED THE TREATMENT THAT WAS MADE FOR YOU, IT MAKES ME FEEL BAD.
WELL MOM, I KNOW YOU HAVE HEARD IT BEFORE, BUT YOU ARE MISSED, AND LOVED MORE THAN WORDS CAN SAY. YOU ARE THOUGHT OF EVERY DAY. I WILL ALWAYS BE SO BLESSED, TO HAVE YOU AS MY MOTHER.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY IN HEAVEN MOM. YOU HAVE DAD, CINDY, AND YOUR FOLKS BY YOUR SIDE, TO CELEBRATE WITH.KEEP WATCHING OVER ALL OF US, AND STAY NEAR. TIL WE MEET AGAIN,
LOVE FOREVER, XOXO XOXO
YOUR SON, JEFF.
November 15, 2012
Dear Mom,
Happy Birthday to you. I miss seeing you on Thanksgiving, because we celebrated your birthday on that day also. Mike's birthday also. You always had a delicious dinner for all of us. Not to mention the pumpkin and apple pies and ice cream. The holidays at your house were happy and wonderful times. I am thankful to you mom and dad, that I have a beautful house and farm and wooded acreage. It is very peaceful and private here. I am thankful for my children and grandchildren as well. Mom you will be a great Nana again. Rachel will be having another baby in May. Ally and Gunner are almost two years old now. How time goes by. Please watch over your grand-children and great grandchildren, Mom, watch over Eric, help him with his landlord, who is giving him alot of stress. Stay close to us Mom. I know you are with God and his angels. Jeff needs to know, that you are watching out for him. Please let him know you are near. He misses yoy so much.
Holidays will never be the same and as happy as when you were on earth celebrating them with us.
Love you and dad always. Thankful for you and dad. Love MaryLou
November 15, 2012

October 03, 2012
IN HONOR OF BERNADINE CATHERINE ACQUA. ON YOUR ANNIVERSARY.
WITH LOVE MOM.
October 03, 2012
HI MOM,
WELL, AS EVERYONE SAYS, IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO BELIEVE THAT IT HAS BEEN 3 YEARS SINCE YOU LEFT US. IT REALLY DOES SEEM LIKE YESTERDAY. I CAN REMEMBER EVERY DETAIL. IT TRULY IS SUCH A SHAME THAT THINGS DIDN'T GO AS PLANNED. YOU WOULD BE HERE WITH US, AND SUCH HAPPINESS WOULD ABOUND. PEOPLE THAT ARE IN THE SAME CIRCUMSTANCE AS I AM, HAVE SAID AMAZINGLY WHAT I HAVE THOUGHT MANY TIMES. THAT IT HAS BEEN 3 YEARS, 3 MILLION MEMORIES, 3 MILLION SMILES, 3 MILLION TEARS, AND NOT A DAY HAS GONE BY WITHOUT ALWAYS THINKING OF YOU. ALSO, I REMEMBER DAD SAYING, JODY DO THOSE HANDS EVER STOP. THE MOMENT THAT I LOOKED DOWN AND GRASPED YOUR HANDS, KNOWING YOU HAD PASSED TO HEAVEN, WAS THE SADDEST DAY OF MY LIFE. YOUR HANDS WERE WARM, BUT FINALLY STILL FOREVER. THOSE HANDS THAT WORKED SO HARD, AND CARED FOR ALL OF US, AND ACCOMPOLISHED SO MUCH. I COULD NEVER REPAY YOU MOM. IT WOULD BE RARE TO SEE A MOTHER WHO DEVOTED HERSELF WITH NO LIMITS. THANK YOU FOR WEARING SO MANY HATS, AND BEING THERE FOR US NO MATTER WHAT.
I AM DOING THE RENOVATIONS YOU WANTED DONE TO THE HOUSE. IT IS NOT EASY. VERY TIRING, TIME CONSUNING, FRUSTRATING, AND COSTLY. I AM KEEPING A SHARP EYE TO DETAIL, AND YOU WOULD BE SO HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS, AND WOULD LIKE BEING IN THE HOUSE. IT WILL BE VERY CLOSE TO ORIGINAL WHEN DONE. I AM THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR, OVERSEEING CONTRACTORS. I DON'T KNOW HOW POOR DAD COULD HAVE DONE THIS ALL FROM SCRATCH WHILE WORKING. I GIVE HIM ALOT OF CREDIT. OF COURSE THE 2 DISCS, COLITIS AND BLOOD SUGAR ARE MAKING THE JOB MORE DIFFICULT.
I WON'T GIVE UP MOM. YOU REST EASY IN HEAVEN WITH DAD AND CINDY. HAD A NICE MASS FOR YOUR ANNIVERSARY.
SOMEDAY, I WILL SEE YOU ALL AGAIN. TIL THEN, I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER. KEEP WATCHING OVER US.
LOVE, YOUR SON, JEFF XOXO XOXO

Oct. 3, 2012
Dear Mom,
It is hard to believe you have been gone two years.
Jeff has given me many pictures of you and Dad, me, Jeff and Greg. You always looked so good in the pictures.
Things are going well at our new house. Mike is still working at Sears Hardware. The only negative thing going on is our water bill. We are trying to figure out why the water bill is so high. We hope, they gave us a new water meter. Mom, if you can see what is going on with our water, please intercede for us.
Your great grandchildren are growing beautifully. Ally is so cute. Gunner is a sweet little boy. Watch over them Mom, keep them safe.
Wish you were here to enjoy all the beautiful flowers and trees. Thanks for such a beautiful place to live and enjoy God's creations.
Love Marylou

June 16, 2012
HI MOM,
ALTHOUGH YOUR PASSING WAS NOT VERY LONG AGO, WE CAN'T FORGET DADS SPECIAL DAYS. SUNDAY IS FATHERS DAY, AND HE SHOULD BE HONORED FOR ALL THAT HE DID FOR THIS FAMILY.
DAD, WE SALUTE YOU ON THIS UNIQUE DAY, SET ASIDE TO RECOGNIZE FATHERS. YOU WORKED SO HARD, AND WERE SUCH A GOOD PROVIDER, AND NEVER ASKED ANYTHING FOR YOURSELF [WELL MAYBE FOOD WAS AN EXCEPTION] BUT YOU ALWAYS WERE CONCERNED WITH EACH OF US, AND GENEROUS WITH YOUR HELP. YOU COULD BE COUNTED ON TO COME HOME FROM WORK, AND BE WITH MOM AND THE KIDS. YOU MADE MANY SACRIFICES FOR US, AND IT IS GREATLY APPRECIATED. WHEN I THINK OF YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES GROWING UP, IT IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, THE SUCCESS YOU ACHIEVED. WE ARE PROUD OF YOU. WE KNOW HOW MUCH YOU LOVE YOUR "JODY". IT WAS SO NICE TO HEAR DURING YOUR FINAL DAYS WITH US, IN THIS LIFE HERE, WHEN YOU SAID ' JODY, YOU ARE THE BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO ME IN MY WHOLE LIFE". AND THAT WAS SO TRUE. I WILL ALWAYS FEEL BAD THAT YOU SUDDENLY DEVELOPED THAT HORRIBLE ILLNESS, AND WERE FORCED TO LEAVE, AND LEAVE US, IN SUCH A SHORT TIME, AFTER ALL YOU WERE PUT THROUGH WITH TREATMENT. YOU WERE IN SUCH GOOD SHAPE, THAT WE THOUGHT YOU WOULD BE AROUND FOR MANY MORE YEARS.
WELL POP, I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU, ALWAYS MISS YOU, AND ALWAYS LOVE YOU. THANKS FOR EVERYTHING DAD, AND ALWAYS KEEP WATCHING OVER US. GIVE MY LOVE TO MOM, AND CINDY. HAPPY FATHERS DAY.
UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN,LOVE YOUR SON, JEFF.

June 12, 2012
HELLO MOM,
WHENEVER WE THOUGHT OF THE NUMBER OF YEARS THAT HAD GONE BY, WITH DADS PASSING, WE ALWAYS COULD NOT BELIEVE IT WAS POSSIBLE. IT ALWAYS SEEMED JUST A SHORT TIME AGO. WE CAME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT WHATEVER THE NUMBER OF YEARS THAT HAD ACTUALLY GONE BY, THAT WE FELT LIKE IT WAS ABOUT HALF THAT MANY, OR EVEN A LITTLE LESS. WELL DAD PASSED JUNE 12TH, 1993, AND IT WILL BE 19 YEARS AGO. IT REALLY SEEMS UNBELIEVBLE. WHERE COULD 19 YEARS GO. AS WE SAID, IT FEELS ABOUT 9 OR SO.
AS FAR AS THE DETAILS, AND REMEMBERING EVERYTHING, IT SEEMS LIKE YESTERDAY.
SO DAD [POP], WE HAVEN'T FORGOTTEN YOU, DON'T WORRY ABOUT THAT. I HAD A MASS SAID FOR YOU SUNDAY, A COMBINATION ANNIVERSARY MASS, AND FOR FATHERS DAY ALSO. YOU WERE IN SUCH GOOD SHAPE, THAT YOU WOULD HAVE HUNG AROUND WITH US FOR MANY MORE YEARS, HAD THAT RELENTLESS CONDITION NEVER ATTACKED YOU. I REMEMBER IT ALL. YOU LOOKED SO GOOD, BUT THE BLOOD WORK TOLD A DIFFERENT STORY. IT WAS A VERY SAD THING TO TRY AND ACCEPT. TO THIS DAY, I WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND IT, AND FEEL IT WAS SO UNFAIR HOW YOU WERE JUST FORCED TO GO, AND HAVE TO LEAVE, AND LEAVE US. LIKE MOM, ALL YOU WANTED TO DO WAS JUST BE WITH US, AND YOU NEVER ASKED FOR MUCH. THE WHOLE THING, WITH YOU, AND THEN MOM, WAS AN UNDESERVED TRAGEDY. THANKS FOR EVERYTHING YOU DID FOR US POP,YOU ARE ALWAYS MISSED AND LOVED. BE HAPPY NOW, WITH YOUR BELOVED JODY, AND DAUGHTER CINDY. KEEP WATCHING OVER US. IT WILL BE A SAD FATHERS DAY, BUT I WILL BE THINKING OF YOU. SAY HELLO, AND GIVE MY LOVE TO MOM AND CYNTHIA.
LOVE YOU DAD, MISS YOU SO, WANTED YOU TO STAY. YOUR SON, JEFF.

May 22, 2012
HI MOM,
JUST WANT YOU TO KNOW, I AM NOTING MAY 20TH,1948. THIS IS THE DAY YOUR PRECIOUS BABY DAUGHTER, AND MY SISTER CYNTHIA WENT TO HEAVEN, 64 YEARS AGO. IT SADDENS ME THAT SHE NEVER HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO GROW UP HERE ON EARTH, AND BECOME A WONDERFUL GIRL, AND WOMAN. YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SEE HER ALL THESE YEARS. BUT ALTHOUGH SHE WAS NEVER GIVEN THAT CHANCE, WE KNOW SHE HAS BEEN OUR LITTLE ANGEL IN HEAVEN, WATCHING AND WAITING FOR US ALL THIS TIME.
YOU TOLD US THAT DAD WENT TO SEE HER, AND SHE WAS A BEAUTIFUL BABY GIRL, WITH DARK BLACK HAIR, AND SHE RESEMBLED OUR COUSINS IN NEW HAVEN. I CAN JUST PICTURE THAT. WELL NOW SHE HAS HER MOM AND DAD WITH HER FOREVER.
PLEASE TELL SISTER CYNTHIA HOW MUCH WE LOVE HER, AND SOMEDAY WHEN MY WORK IS DONE HERE, I WILL MEET HER FOR THE FIRST TIME. ALL MY LOVE TO YOU MOM, DAD, AND CINDY. KEEP WATCHING OVER US, AND STAY NEAR.
TIL WE MEET AGAIN, LOVE ALWAYS LOVE FOREVER, YOUR SON, JEFF XOXO XOXO

Dear Mom,
Happy Mother's Day!
Wish you were here on earth to celebrate this day. I loved to bring you your favorite flower, Fushia and Lillies for Mother's Day. Miss you each day, especially on Mother's Day. Watch over us Mom, help Mike to pass the bus test, and Rachel to sell her house. Rachel will be living in the house she grew up in. Raising her son Gunner, and your grandson. The farm is doing fine, with many trees and flowers. A peaceful place, you would like it here. Thank you again for making my dream come true. I want to share my little farm with others. Say hello to dad, cindy and my grandparents too.
Love to all
Marylou.
May 12, 2012
DEAR MOM,
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY UP THERE. I WISH ALL HAD GONE AS PLANNED, AND HOW WONDEFUL A MOTHERS DAY WE WOULD HAVE. YOU WOULD BE THE CENTER OF OUR ATTENTION, IN YOUR OWN HOME, WITH EVERYONE SO HAPPY TO BE WITH YOU ON YOUR SPECIAL DAY. I WOULD BRING YOU A BEAUTIFUL BUNCH OF ROSES, AND WE WOULD EITHER HAVE SOME OUTDOOR FESTIVITIES, WITH GRILLED FOOD, OR MAYBE I'D MAKE IT SIMPLE, AND GET A WHOLE BUNCH OF PIZZAS. THEN OF COURSE YOUR FAVORITE ICE CREAM, CHOCOLATES, ETC. THE GIRLS WOULD BRING THEIR PLANTS, AND HANGING PLANTS. THEY WOULD MAKE YOU SO HAPPY TO ADD TO YOUR PATIO AND SPACIOUS GARDENS. WE WOULD ALWAYS BE HAVING SO MUCH LAUGHTER.
THE MAIN THING MOM, IS EVEN IF CIRCUMSTANCES WERE, THAT WE WERE NOT BLESSED WITH THAT MUCH, WE WOULD HAVE RICHES BY HAVING OUR BELOVED MOTHER WITH US. YOUR PRESENCE BROUGHT HAPPINESS, PEACE, SMILES, CALMING, ENCOURAGEMENT, AND UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. I HAVEN'T SEEN VERY MANY FOLKS AS SELFLESS AND CARING AS YOU MOM. I MISS IT ALL SO MUCH.
I RECEIVED A LETTER FROM AN AUNT WHO ATTENDED YOUR FAMILY REUNION LAST SUMMER. SHE MADE MY DAY WHEN SHE SAID , EVERYONE AT THE REUNION SPOKE SO NICELY ABOUT YOUR MOTHER, AND HOW SHE HELPED EVERYONE, AND WHAT A WONDERFUL PERSONALITY SHE HAD. THEY MISSED THEIR WONDERFUL SISTER.
WELL MOM, I KNOW THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT YOU HAVING TO LEAVE. YOU WANTED TO STAY, BUT YOU AND I HAD NO MORE SAY. BUT NO-ONE CAN TAKE THE LOVE AWAY, AND AS ERIC SAYS. YOUR STRONG SPIRIT IS WITH US.
I WILL PUT YELLOW MARIGOLDS AT THE CEMETERY FOR YOU, DAD, AND CINDY.
STAY CLOSE TO US MOM, AND MY LOVE TO DAD AND CYNTHIA.
TIL WE MEET AGAIN, LOVE ALWAYS, LOVE FOREVER, YOUR SON JEFF. XOXO XOXO
May 10, 2012

We're at this time of year again. Even though you are gone, your spirit is here with me. As you know the clowns are in town. I am going to see them on Saturday. I will always remember all the good times we had going to the circus together. I also want to wish you a Happy Mother's Day. Nana, I love you. Keep the faith. Love, EK

Dear Mom and Dad,
Mom,we miss your delicious shrimp casserole and all the good food and company that went with it.
Most of all, I miss the family gatherings. It was so nice to see everyone. Dad I hung up your picture in the livingroom. You look great. Watch over us Dad and Mom. Stay close. We miss and love you very much.
LOVE Marylou and Mike
April 07, 2012
Hi Nana and Hi Pop and Hi Cindy,
It still feels like yesterday when you passed away. There is a favorite song that Billy Joel wrote called "Leave a Tender Moment Alone". I listen to it over and over in my car on special days like this (just before Easter) and think of you. I miss you sincerely and I know my Uncle Jeff is going through hard times because he misses you so much. The whole family misses you. Happy Easter, Keep the Faith. Love EK
April 07, 2012
HI MOM, DAD AND CYNTHIA.
WELL IT'S HARD TO BELIEVE, BUT EASTER IS HERE ONCE AGAIN. HOW I WISH WE COULD BE HAVING OUR TRADITIONAL EASTER CELEBRATION. BUT I'LL HAVE TO BE CONTENT, WITH KNOWING YOU ARE ALL SAFE, AND TOGETHER UP THERE, IN YOUR BEAUTIFUL, PEACEFUL HOME IN HEAVEN.
I ALWAYS WILL REMEMBER GOING TO GET THE FLEUR DE LIS HAM, AND GETTING THE LARGEST ONE. THEN HAVING OUR CELEBRATION, WITH ALL OUR FAMILY, HAPPY AND HEALTHY, AND ALL THE LAUGHTER, AND OF COURSE THE DELICIOUS FEASTS. IT DOESN'T SEEM VERY LONG AGO AT ALL. NOW OF COURSE EVERYTHING HAS CHANGED, AND A HUGE VOID EXISTS. SO MANY PEOPLE SEEK MONEY, AND FAME, AND HOUSES,CARS,BOATS, TRAVEL,PARTIES,DINNERS,CRUISES,VACATIONS,ETC. ALL I EVER WANTED IS FOR YOU ALL TO BE HEALTHY AND HAPPY. I GUESS IT'S A MYSTERY, THAT DESPITE PRAYERS, AND SUPERB CARE, THE LORD DECIDES HE IS GOING TO CALL YOU HOME, AND DEVASTATE THOSE LEFT BEHIND. IF YOU COULD SPEAK DIRECTLY TO ME, I BET YOU WOULD SAY NOT TO CRY TOO MUCH, BECAUSE WERE GOOD, AND NOT VERY FAR AWAY. AND WE WILL GREET YOU SOMEDAY, AND NEVER PART AGAIN.
HAPPY EASTER IN HEAVEN MOM,DAD, AND CINDY, SAY HELLO TO YOUR FOLKS TOO. I THINK OF YOU MANY TIMES A DAY, EVERY DAY. I MISS YOU TREMENDOUSLY. I LOVE YOU MORE THAN WORDS CAN SAY. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK AND SACRIFICES FOR US. I COULD NEVER HAVE BEEN GIVEN BETTER FOLKS THEN YOU. STAY CLOSE TO US, AND KEEP WATCHING OVER US.
UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN, LOVE ALWAYS, LOVE FOREVER, YOUR SON, JEFF. XOXO XOXO
February 16, 2012

February 06, 2012
Dear Dad,
Happy Birthday! I wish I could have you sitting on a nice recliner enjoying our huge front porch. You would like the woods and all the privacy we enjoy. Your grandchildren and great grandchildren love it here. The children love petting the goat and horse. Our farm house reminds me of the woods I used to play in at our family house many years ago. Thanks dad for making this all possible. I am very happy in my new home, and want to share my happiness with others. Say hello to uncle FIFI for me too. We miss him. Keep an eye on us dad, and protect us from danger and trouble. you always did your best for your family. Your a great dad. I miss talking to you. Love MaryLou
February 06, 2012
HI DAD. WELL FEBRUARY 7TH IS HERE, SO YOUR BIRTHDAY HAS ARRIVED. I WANT TO WISH YOU A MOST WONDERFUL BIRTHDAY UP THERE WITH MOM AND CYNTHIA. SORRY POP, BUT THIS YEAR,YOUR FAMOUS WEATHER PREDICTION OF'ON OR ABOUT MY BIRTHDAY, THERE WILL BE SNOW', IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. MAYBE SOME FLURRIES THOUGH. YOU HAVE BEEN ON TARGET WITH THAT FOR A REAL LONG TIME, BUT WE ARE HAVING A WARMER, SNOW-FREE WINTER, AND FOR THAT I AM VERY HAPPY. BY THE WAY, I HOPE YOU DON'T FEEL LEFT OUT, BECAUSE WE SEND SO MANY MESSAGES TO MOM'JODY'. THE FACT IS WE JUST CAN'T BELIEVE MOM HAS LEFT HERE, AND JOINED YOU IN HEAVEN. THE WHOLE THING SEEMS LIKE IT MUST BE JUST A DREAM. BUT BELIEVE ME, WE HAVEN'T FORGOTTEN YOU DAD. I CAN REMEMBER EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED TO YOU, AS IF IT WERE YESTERDAY. I MISS YOU ALOT, AND OF COURSE THINGS WILL JUST NEVER BE THE SAME. I HAD A MASS SAID FOR YOU ON SUNDAY, AND I WAS IN ATTENDANCE. IT WAS NICE. SO HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD, AND I WISH YOU MUCH JOY UP THERE. THANK YOU FOR ALL THE SACRIFICES, AND HARD WORK YOU DID, TO ALLOW US TO HAVE A BETTER LIFE. AS WITH MOM, I TRIED EVERYTHING IN MY POWER AND BEYOND, TO SAVE YOU, AND KEEP YOU WITH US. YOU JUST WANTED TO HANG OUT WITH US. BUT THIS LAST TIME, I JUST COULDN'T GET YOU OUT OF IT. IT WASN'T FAIR TO LOSE BOTH YOU AND MOM, WHEN YOU BOTH WERE DOING SO WELL, TIL THIS SAME EVIL RELENTLESS DISEASE TOOK YOU BOTH FROM US. I HOPE IN OUR LIFETIME THERE WILL BE A DOCUMENTED CURE.
GOD BLESS YOU DAD, AND STAY NEAR US, AND KEEP WATCHING OVER US. SAY HELLO TO OUR BELOVED MOM AND SISTER. WE LOVE THEM SO MUCH.
HAVE A GREAT DAY DAD.
LOVE ALWAYS, LOVE FOREVER, YOUR SON, JEFF.

Dear Mom, Dad, Cindy and all the Folks,
Merry Christmas to all! A king has been born on earth to rule the world. Jesus is the reason for the season. You are so lucky to be with him now. We mortals on earth must wait our turn to meet him face to face. How great it must be in Heaven to see each other, greet one another, talk, laugh and be completely content and peaceful. Pray for us dear folks in heaven. Help us, protect us, watch over us each day. There re so many pit falls, and discouargements that confront us each day on earth. We miss you most on holidays and special times of the year. We miss the days of families coming together on Christmas, sharing their time, love and talents to create a circle of love. Encourage us to continue the circle of love with our new families on earth. Teach us to love.
Love you forever
Your daughter
Marylou

Hi Nana. It is so sad that you are not here for Christmas when we had our big family dinners and I wish Pop was there. For a happy thought you would have to add two more chairs to the big table for your great grandchildren. I think that you are around and you are seeing things. I truly believe that. I just want you, Pop and Cindy a Merry Christmas in Heaven. Love, EK
December 23, 2011
DEAR MOM,DAD, AND CYNTHIA,
I WANT TO WISH YOU A MOST WONDERFUL, AND BLESSED CHRISTMAS, UP THERE IN HEAVEN. I HOPE YOU HAVE A HAPPY DAY ALL TOGETHER, AND WITH OUR GRANDPARENTS, AS WELL. I PRAY FOR YOU ALL THE TIME, AND AM SURE YOU ARE IN A BEAUTIFUL GARDEN, THAT ONE COULD ONLY IMAGINE.
I MISS YOU SO TERRIBLY, AND THINGS JUST WILL NEVER BE THE SAME. IF WE HAD LITTLE ELSE IN THE WORLD, THE IMPORTANT THING IS WE HAD EACH OTHER, AND THE LOVE, AND A HAPPY HOME. I CAN STILL PICTURE YOUR TREE MOM, WITH THE BEAUTIFUL HAND MADE ORNAMENTS, AND YOUR HAND MADE WREATHES YOU WOULD GIVE AWAY. AND OF COURSE THE DINNERS WERE JUST UNBELIEVABLE. I WOULD ALWAYS GET THE BIGGEST FLEUR DE LIS HAM I COULD FIND.I HAVEN'T FORGOTTEN YOU DAD, WITH THE RED VEST ON, FOR CHRISTMAS. WE HAD SUCH LAUGHTER, AND EVERYONE WAS OK. OUTSIDE I PUT ALL THE DECORATIONS, AND PROBABLY RAISED THE ELECTRIC BILL SKY HIGH.
WELL, I KNOW YOU HAVE ONLY GONE ON TO A NEW LIFE, AND I BELIEVE YOUR CLOSE TO US, AND WATCHING OVER US. SO I WILL JUST TAKE THINGS ONE DAY AT A TIME, AND DO THE BEST I CAN, WITH THE CARDS I HAVE BEEN DEALT.
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL.TIL WE MEET AGAIN. I SEND ALL MY LOVE.
THINKING OF YOU EVERY SINGLE DAY.
LOVE ALWAYS, LOVE FOREVER, JEFF. XOXO XOXO

Dear Nana,
I just want to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving and Pop and Cindy. It is too bad it is not like the olden days where we had a big meal at your house. I remember you made those special croissants. We have has some good weather and I know you would have been working around the house in your gardens but that is not safe now as you can see from where you are as there are coyotes and wolves and other wild animals. I love you Nana and wish you a Happy Thanksgiving. Happy Thankgiving to Cindy and Pop. God Bless you all. Keep the faith. Love, Eric
November 23, 2011
GREETINGS MOM,DAD, AND CYNTHIA. I WANT TO WISH YOU A MOST HAPPY THANKSGIVING UP THERE. I KNOW YOU ARE ALL TOGETHER IN THE MOST BEAUTIFUL GARDEN, AND WILL HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY. I WISH WE COULD STILL BE ALL TOGETHER, AND GATHERED AT HOME DOWN HERE, AND HAVE MANY HAPPY TIMES, AND MUCH LAUGHTER, AND OF COURSE A DELICIOUS FEAST. THEN WE WOULD HAVE MOMS BIRTHDAY, AND THE CAKE WITH THE STRAWBERRIES AND PEACHES, COVERED IN WHIP CREAM, AND PUMPKIN PIES, AND PECAN PIES, AND OF COURSE THE ICE CREAM ROLL. EVERYONE WAS SO HAPPY, AND THE MANY STORIES AND LAUGHTER WERE REALLY SOMETHING. WELL ALL I CAN DO NOW IS SEND ALL MY LOVE, AND SAY A PRAYER FOR YOU, AND BE GRATEFUL FOR THE TIME WE ONCE HAD TOGETHER. I AM TRYING MY BEST, BUT I HAVE MANY STRIKES AGAINST ME. BUT AS MOM TOLD ME, TRY YOUR BEST, AND YOU CAN'T JUST LAY DOWN AND DIE. I JUST GO ONE DAY AT A TIME, HOPING THAT I WILL IMPROVE WITHOUT HAVING A COUPLE SURGERIES. I SURE HAVE ENOUGH TO GET DONE TO KEEP ME VERY BUSY, ITS THE MEDICAL PROBLEMS KEEPING ME DOWN, MOSTLY THIS RELENTLESS HERNIATED DISC.
THANK YOU MOM AND DAD, FOR ALL YOU HAVE SACRIFICED, AND DONE FOR US. I WILL NEVER,EVER FORGET YOU. I THINK OF YOU EVERYDAY, AND MISS YOU TERRIBLY. SAY HELLO TO GRANDMA, AND GRANDPA FOR ME. KEEP WATCHING OVER US, AND STAY CLOSE TO US. MOM, I HOPE YOU SHOW ME A HUGE, OBVIOUS SIGN, PRETTY SOON. P.S, I CAN STILL SEE DAD, AND LATER MOM, GETTING UP AT 5:00 AM TO PUT THE TURKEY IN THE OVEN.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YOU ALL.
LOVE ALWAYS, LOVE FOREVER, XOXO XOXO, YOUR SON JEFF.

Hi, Jeff. My heart is with you again on Bea's birthday. I have just returned to Fla. for the winter. I flew; my son, Frank and wife, Chris drove my car down and stayed a week. Nothing gets easier as I age, but it is good to get away from the cold of New England, much as I love the change of the seasons. I am blessed. God is good. Love to all of Lou and Bea's family. Dear Mom,
Happy Birthday Mom!
My Christmas cactus is in full bloom. It must know it is your special day.
You probably get a real kick out of watching me run this little farm down here. You laugh as you watch me tend to my horse and goat. I think you would smile and say, "good for you Marylou, you have a nice place here." Quiet peaceful and beautiful. Trees, animals, flowers, nature abound. You too loved the outdoors, Mom. You always liked working in your gardens and the woods. Jeff has not come to see the farm yet, I am hoping he will take a ride one of these days. He will be quite surprised. Your great grand children come to the farm often. They are beautiful and smart. Just like you. Watch over me mom. Protect me and my children, especially my grand children. Keep an eye on Mike, he needs it. He thought his foot was broken, but the doctors read the x-ray wrong. His foot was fine, thank goodness. Give a big hug to Dad too. He must shake his head, and say "Marylou is crazy". I know Dad would not be mad, because the house was just about brand new, with lots of land, privacy and city water and sewers, oil heat and central air.
Well, thank you Mom, for the gift of money you gave me so I could buy this little farm,
I am very happy and content. I feel close to God and you each day.
Love you always
Marylou

HI MOM,
WELL IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN. NOVEMBER 16TH. YOUR BIRTHDAY. HOW I WISH YOU WERE AT HOME WITH US. WE WOULD HAVE 2 CELEBRATIONS. FIRST ON YOUR BIRTHDAY. I WOULD GET YOUR FAVORITE PIZZAS, AND OF COURSE ICE CREAM. THEN I WOULD PUT OUT 2 VASES OF YOUR MINI PINK CARNATIONS. THEN ON THANKSGIVING, WE WOULD REALLY HAVE A BIRTHDAY FOR YOU. AND I ALWAYS WENT TO THE SOUTH END OF HARTFORD, AND GOT THE FAMOUS BIRTHDAY CAKE, WITH THE STRAWBERRIES AND PEACHES FILLING, COVERED IN WHIPPED CREAM. I'D HAVE THEM WRITE HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM, AND "JODY". GEE THOSE WERE WONDERFUL TIMES. I WAS SURE THEY WOULD CONTINUE FOR A LONG TIME TO COME, BUT GOD HAD OTHER PLANS. WELL I CAN TELL YOU ONE THING MOM, YOU ARE JUST AS CLOSE, AND LOVED THE SAME TODAY, AS ALL THE YESTERDAYS PAST. WITHOUT BEING PREJUDICED, I HONESTLY HAVE NOT SEEN VERY MANY MOMS AS ABSOLUTELY DEVOTED, AND SO UNDERSTANDING, GIVING, AND LOVING, AND ALWAYS THERE FOR US AS YOU HAVE BEEN. WHAT A COMFORT AND PEACE THAT BROUGHT TO OUR LIVES. THANKS FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE MOM. I WILL NEVER FORGET IT. YOU ARE WITH ME ALWAYS.
I WANT TO WISH YOU A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY UP THERE IN HEAVEN, AND HAPPINESS WITH DAD, CINDY, AND GRANDMA AND GRANDPA. I HAD A MASS FOR YOU SUNDAY, AND I WAS THERE. IT WAS NICE. I WISH I COULD SEND YOU UP SOME SPECIAL GIFT, BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO SETTLE FOR MY LOVE, AND PRAYERS. THIS IS YOUR DAY MOTHER. I MISS AND LOVE YOU MORE THAN WORDS CAN SAY.I'M SORRY I COULDN'T SAVE YOU MOM. YOU AND GOD KNOW I TRIED EVERYTHING IN MY POWER. HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY.
UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN ON THAT HAPPY AND GLORIOUS DAY,
LOVE ALWAYS, LOVE FOREVER, XOXO XOXO,
LOVE, JEFF. PROUD TO BE YOUR SON.

Dear Nana, I wish you a very Happy Birthday. I miss you but I have dreams about you and Pop. I write in this book for you, Pop and Cindy and I don't expect anything in return. I miss seeing you and I miss seeing Pop. I think of you every day and you and Pop will always be in my heart. I have had some hard times and I know you have been looking out for me. Thank you Nana. I know you are also enjoying that the UConn Women's basketball team has started playing again. Love, Eric

Dear Mom,
You have been gone from living on earth just two years. It does not seem that long ago, that you smiled at me at the hospital, and gazed at me continuously, saying good bye to me, as you left earth to enter heaven.
Thank you for the beautiful farm that God has sent me. Thank you for the lovely land, trees and loving animals I see each day. Thank you for the beautiful flowers and forest of trees that surround me. Thank you for the little animals I see at daybreak, rabbits, deer, squirrels, coyotes and birds of all kinds. Thank you for the beautiful grandchildren that come visit our farm. The grandchildren are God's angels. Thank you for the peace I feel, as close to God and you as I can get. Walk with me always. Watch over me always. Work with me, as we make this farm, God's special place of love and peace.
Love you, Mary Lou
October 02, 2011
Hey Nana,
can't believe its been 2 yrs. A lot has happened since you have been gone. I am a mom too now. Gunner was born the day before Jeff's birthday. He was due on his birthday but they induced me when i went into labor. Lets pray he does not have my personality. Yeah I a still same old stubborn Rachel. I was looking at the picture of you with eva and i at our first holy communion and laughed because i remember how crazy you went looking for those perfect dresses!! You must be very happy to be with Cindy and Pop. Everyone else is still the same. Our family is still as nuts as always, but they all mean well deep down. Watch over your great grand kids .
take care nana
October 02, 2011
It's been two years since my Nana passed away. I went to the eye doctor last Friday and I was talking to an older lady and she was 89 years old. She was walking great, she was talking great, she was getting her eyes checked. When she came out she said her eyes were all clear. She said her prayers go out to my Nana. When I go to visit my doctors I often see people older than my Nana. They walk with no walker, they seem to have no problems. I have to say that I believe Doc and my Nana got robbed of an early age. But I think they are happy where they are in Heaven and I hope someday there will be a cure for leukemia. I have nothing against older people but I miss my grandmother and Pop very very much. I love you with all my heart. I will always love you. Love, Eric
October 01, 2011
Dear Nana,
It feels like you are not even gone, but I know it will be two years since you passed. There have been times when driving my car or just going for a check up for my car and I feel like you are present there. I have told my sisters that when their children get older I will do the same thing you did for me and I will take them to the circus. I know that you and Pop are in Heaven enjoying yourselves and I always say Cindy, but I never met her. Jeff is always thinking of you and honoring you. We talk about you all the time. It feels like you are with me and I remember you talking about UConn Huskies basketball and wish I could have taken you to a game. Nana, you will always be in my heart along with Pop. I hope you have a good time in Heaven on your anniversary. I hope you are not sad. I hope you are joyful. I love you.
October 01, 2011
DEAR MOM,
WELL, MONDAY OCTOBER 3RD, WILL BE 2 WHOLE YEARS SINCE YOU UNEXPECTEDLY LEFT US FOR YOUR NEW HOME IN HEAVEN. AS THE EXPRESSION GOES, IT SEEMS LIKE ONLY YESTERDAY, OR AT THE MOST, A FEW MONTHS. IT HAS BEEN JUST LIKE A DREAM THAT WILL END, BUT IT'S NOT. THINGS WILL NEVER BE THE SAME. IT'S SUCH A SADLY CHANGED LIFE. I STILL THINK I HEAR YOU IN YOUR ROOM, OR ON THE COUCH, OR COMING IN FROM OUTSIDE, AND THEN I REMEMBER YOU HAVE LEFT. WITH THIS BEAUTIFUL FALL WEATHER, I PICTURE YOU OUTSIDE, AND ME DOING THE LEAVES, AND THE LAWN, AND YOU IN THE FRESH AIR, SO HAPPY WITH YOUR HOUSE AND YARD. NOW IT'S JUST A BUILDING. IT WAS A HOME BECAUSE YOU WERE THERE. I CAN REMEMBER EVERY LAST DETAIL OF YOU BEING THERE, AND THE PIECE AND HAPPINESS YOUR PRESENCE BROUGHT. I DID EVERYTHING IN MY POWER TO KEEP YOU WITH US, AND YOU SAID RIGHT UP TO THE END THAT YOU WANTED TO LIVE.BUT THIS TIME GOD HAD OTHER PLANS. YOU WERE ABOUT 10 YEARS YOUNGER THAN YOUR REAL AGE, AND HAD NO GRAY HAIR, AND DIDN'T DYE IT EITHER. YOU WERE STILL DOING LIGHT WORK AROUND THE HOUSE AND YARD, AND GOING WITH ME IN THE CAR. THE DOCTOR HAD GOOD HOPES FOR YOU, AND WE EVEN HAD A DISCHARGE DATE FROM THE HOSPITAL. THEN DISASTER STRUCK, WHEN YOU WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO TOLERATE THE NEW DRUG. NOW 2 YEARS LATER, THEY GAVE A MAN WITH YOUR IDENTICAL CONDITION, WHO HAD JUST WEEKS TO LIVE, AN INJECTION OF HIS OWN ALTERED CELLS, AND HE WAS BASICALLY CURED. THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT THIS TERRIBLE OCURRENCE, EXCEPT PRAY THAT YOU ARE IN THE MOST BEAUTIFUL GARDEN, WITH DAD AND CINDY, AND YOUR PARENTS, AND THAT YOU STAY CLOSE TO US, AND WATCH OVER US.YOU ARE LOVED AND MISSED MORE THAN WORDS CAN DESCRIBE. I WISH I HAD ACCOMPLISHED MORE IN THE LAST 2 YEARS, BUT THIS HERNIATED DISC IS RELENTLESS, AND I DON'T WANT AN OPERATION. THE COLITIS DOESN'T HELP MUCH EITHER.I AM STILL WAITING FOR A SIGN FROM YOU, AND I WONT GIVE UP. MAYBE YOU WILL SEND A REALLY BIG SIGN, SOMETHING YOU DON'T HAVE TO LOOK FOR.
IN THE MEANTIME THERE WILL BE A MASS FOR YOU SUNDAY, OCTOBER 2ND,2011. I WILL BE THERE.I LOVE YOU MOM, I THINK OF YOU MANY TIMES THROUGHOUT EACH DAY, AND MISS YOU SO TERRIBLY.WHAT I WOULD GIVE TO JUST SEE YOU , HEAR YOUR VOICE, AND TALK FOR A WHILE. THANKS FOR BEING THE MOST DEVOTED, SELFLESS, LOVING, AND OUTSTANDING MOTHER, THAT I WAS, AND STILL AM, BLESSED TO CALL MOM.
GIVE MY LOVE TO DAD, CYNTHIA, AND GRANDMA AND GRANDPA. I WILL SEE YOU AGAIN WHEN MY WORK IS FINISHED HEAR.
LOVE ALWAYS, LOVE FOREVER XOXO XOXO, YOUR SON JEFF.

Dear Mom and Dad,
Happy Father's Day! We miss you both, and wish you were on earth to see your beautiful great grandchildren. Thank you for all you have given to me mom and dad. Because of your caring and thoughtfulness, I am able to buy a little farm, to enjoy with my family, grandchildren and friends. Like you Dad, I plan on helping others and reaching out to people who need some peace and healing. Look down upon our farm mom and dad, watch over us and protect us and your great grandchildren. Thank you for making my dream a reality. Love you and miss you each day more and more.
MaryLou and Mike

ITS A REAL SHAME AS TO WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU AND MOM, AND LIFE FOR ME WILL NEVER BE THE SAME. BUT I ALSO KNOW YOU ARE IN HEAVEN, AND SOMEDAY WE WILL BE REUNITED. IN THE MEANTIME, STAY CLOSE TO US DAD. THANKS SO MUCH FOR ALL YOU DID FOR THIS FAMILY. I COULD NEVER REPAY YOU AND MOM. YOU HAVE A FAMILY UP THERE NOW, WITH MOM, AND CINDY. June 12, 2011
Dear Nana,
Today I am going to write about your husband, Dr. Louis Acqua, my grandfather, known as Doc. When you passed I was just turning 21 years old it was my second loss in my family. As I remember it today, I made a lot of mistakes and if I could take them back I would. I know you were there because I was the only one that the pallbearer would yell at. I hope you, Nana and Cindy are all having a whole bunch of fun in Heaven and that we will all see each other some day. And to end with good news you have two beautiful great grandchildren. Keep the faith. Love, Eric
June 11, 2011
HELLO MOM,
ALTHOUGH YOU ARE ALWAYS ON MY MIND, AND LIFE WILL NEVER BE THE SAME WITHOUT YOU, AND THE LOSS IS DIFFICULT TO BEAR DAY AFTER DAY, TODAY I WILL BE SENDING A MESSAGE TO POP. DAD, I KNOW IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO BELIEVE, BUT YOU LEFT US ON JUNE 12TH, 1993, WHICH IS 18 YEARS AGO. THE MOST IT SEEMS LIKE IS MAYBE LESS THAN HALF OF THAT TIME HAS GONE BUY. I REMEMBER IT ALL AS IF IT WERE YESTERDAY. I HOPE YOU DON'T FEEL NEGLECTED IN THESE MESSAGES. IT'S JUST THAT MOMS PASSING INTO HEAVEN IS SUCH A NEW AND UNEXPECTED THING. BELIEVE ME, WE HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN ABOUT YOU DAD. YOU KNOW HOW HARD I FOUGHT TO KEEP YOU ALIVE, AND HOME WITH US. I HAVEN'T FORGOTTEN ALL THE HARD WORK, AND SACRIFICES YOU MADE FOR US TO HAVE A BETTER LIFE. I APPRECIATE EVERYTHING YOU HAVE DONE. NOW YOU HAVE YOUR JODY BY YOUR SIDE, AND CINDY MAKES A FAMILY UP THERE FOR YOU. I HOPE YOU ARE ALL IN THE MOST BEAUTIFUL GARDEN ONE COULD IMAGINE IN GODS KINGDOM.
I AM HAVING A MASS SAID FOR YOU AN SUNDAY, JUNE 12TH, AND I WILL BE THERE. I HOPE TO PLANT GERANIUMS AT THE CEMETERY ON SUNDAY. IT WILL BE A SAD DAY REMEMBERING THAT AWFUL DAY, BUT I ALSO KNOW YOU ESCAPED A TERRIBLE END, AND NOW ARE AT PEACE IN HEAVEN. I LOVE YOU DAD, AND SOMEDAY WHEN MY WORK IS DONE HERE, I WILL BE REUNITED WITH YOU AND MOM.
UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN, I SEND MY LOVE TO YOU, MOM, AND SISTER CINDY, AND ALL GRANDPARENTS. UNCLE FIFI HAS JOINED YOU NOW TOO.
KEER WATCHING OVER US DAD. 18 YEARS WILL NEVER CHANGE ANYTHING. I FELL THE SAME AS THOUGH YOU HAD JUST LEFT A SHORT TIME AGO.
MISS YOU ALL SO TERRIBLY. LOVE FOREVER, XOXO XOXO
YOUR SON, JEFF.

Dear Mom,
Happy Mother's Day!
Love you and miss you alot. I know how much you loved the lillies and tulips I used to bring down to you each year. I plant flowers around our shrine to honor and remember you. You have two great-grandchildren! Ally is a beautiful baby girl and Gunner is a precious-peanut little boy. I help, Rachel with the new baby boy each day. Just like you helped me with the girls. Thank you for giving me life, and your life continues on earth thru your great-grand children. Eric went to the circus recently and dedicated the show to you. He remembers how you took him to the circus each year. Watch over all of us mom. We need your help and protection. Mother's Day will never be the same without you. Mike and I dedicated a brick to you at Our Lady of Fatima Church from all of us. Today, at church we dedicated the mass to you.
All our love,
Mary Lou, Mike, Eva, Rachel, Eric, Ally and Gunner.

DEAR MOM,
SUNDAY IS MOTHERS DAY. HOW I WISH WE COULD CELEBRATE THE DAY WITH YOU HERE IN CONNECTICUT, EITHER AT YOUR HOME, OR GREGS. TO GATHER, AND HAVE YOU CLOSE TO US, AND SEE YOUR FACE, YOUR SMILE, TO HEAR YOUR VOICE, AND LAUGHTER, WOULD BE THE MOST JOYFUL BLESSED DAY. I HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO JUST TALK TO YOU FROM DOWN HERE, AND PRAY YOU CAN HEAR ME, AND THAT YOU ARE REALLY NOT THAT FAR AWAY. I CAN'T GIVE YOU A BEAUTIFUL, HEARTFELT CARD, AND A BUNCH OF YOUR FAVORITE PINK CARNATIONS, AND OF COURSE THE BOXES OF CHOCOLATES, BUT I CAN SEND ALL MY LOVE TO YOU, THIS MOTHERS DAY, AND EVERY SINGLE DAY OF THE YEAR.
THE GOOD LORD KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING, AND HE GAVE US A HUGE BLESSING WHEN HE NADE YOU OUR MOTHER. I WOULDN'T TRADE YOU FOR ANYTHING IN THIS WHOLE WORLD. HAVING YOU WITH US DOWN HERE, BROUGHT SUCH HAPPINESS, CALM, AND PEACE. PERSONALLY, I WILL NEVER HAVE THAT FEELING ANYMORE SINCE YOU WENT TO HEAVEN.
MOM, YOU WERE SELFLESS, AND ALWAYS THERE FOR US, AND POSSESSED A HEART OF GOLD. THANKS SO VERY MUCH, FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE FOR US. I KNOW YOU ARE A VERY PRIVATE PERSON, BUT I WANTED TO HONOR YOU SOMEHOW, SO I PUT A LITTLE TRIBUTE TO YOU IN SUNDAYS NEWSPAPER. MOTHERS DAY, AND YOUR BIRTHDAY, ARE VERY IMPORTANT DATES.
I CAN ONLY SAY THAT YOU ARE LOVED, THOUGHT ABOUT, AND MISSED TERRIBLY, EVERY SINGLE DAY. SOMEDAY WE WILL MEET AGAIN MOM. IN THE MEANTIME, KEER WATCHING OVER US, AND STAY CLOSE. GIVE MY LOVE TO DAD AND CINDY TOO.
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY IN HEAVEN MOM. I LOVE YOU MORE THAN WORDS CAN SAY. I HOPE YOU WILL SHOW ME A BIG SIGN TOO.

Hello Nana. May 8th is your day to be happy in Heaven with your family up there. Pop, Cindy and you. I think about you every day day when I watch the 6 o'clock news now because they have been predicting spring weather which is perfect for planting and I know how much you loved your gardens. Now you are looking over us in Heaven and what I mean by looking over us is our whole family. My memories will be with me tomorrow at the circus when I go. I just want to wish you a Happy Mother's Day. Love, Eric

I WOULD BUY THE BIGGEST FLEUR DE LIS BONELESS HAM, AND COOK IT WITH THE PINEAPPLE SLICES ON TOP, AND IT WAS SO DELICIOUS. AND WE WOULD HAVE MANY LAUGHS. ML WOULD ALWAYS BRING HER BOXES OF EASTER LILY PLANTS. BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING, WAS WE HAD YOU HERE WITH US, OUR BELOVED IRREPLACEABLE MOM, AND THE HEAD OF OUR FAMILY. Dear Grandma,
It is sad that this year we can not spend Easter with you in person but I know you know there are two new babies in this family now and you are watching over us up there in Heaven. Everything went fine with both births because I think you were there when they were born. I will keep my word and bring them when they are older to the circus like you took me. While I am writing this say Hello to Pop and Cindy for me. Happy Easter and God Bless You. Love, Eric
February 14, 2011

I WOULD BE BUYING YOU THE USUAL HUGE RUSSEL STOVER HEART SHAPED BOX OF CHOCOLATES, WITH THE 2 LARGE PIZZAS ON THE SIDE. IT IS SUCH A SHAME THAT I CAN'T DO THAT FOR THE MOST WONDERFUL MOTHER THAT I COULD EVER DREAM OF HAVING. IT WON'T SINK IN THAT YOU ARE NOW UP THERE. EVERYDAY I LOOK FOR YOU, OR WANT TO TALK, OR SHARE SOMETHING WITH YOU.

Dear Nana, I just wanted to say "Happy Valentine's Day" to you, Cindy and "Happy Valentine's Day" to Pop. I also want to wish Pop a belated "Happy Birthday" and I am sorry that it is late. I hope you are all having fun up in Heaven. Pop, I hope you shot a round of golf with Nana on your birthday up in Heaven and I hope you do something on Monday up in Heaven for Valentine's Day with Nana and Cindy. I miss all of you and I wish you were here still but God has mysterious ways and I just want to say I love all three of you with all my heart even though I didn't get to meet Cindy. Happy Valentine's Day and God Bless You. Keep the Faith. Love, Eric
February 07, 2011
HI DAD,
TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY. I HOPE YOU HAVE A REAL NICE DAY UP THERE WITH MOM, CYNTHIA, AND ALL YOURS AND MOMS FAMILY. I WISH YOU AND MOM COULD STILL BE HERE, SO WE COULD HONOR YOU, AND CELEBRATE YOUR BIRTHDAY WITH YOU, BUT IT WAS NOT TO BE. I FEEL BAD , BUT I ALSO KNOW YOU ARE IN A BEAUTIFUL GARDEN UP THERE, AND YOU AND MOM RECEIVED YOUR REWARD FROM THE GOOD LORD.
YOU ALWAYS SAID THAT"ON OR ABOUT MY BIRTHDAY THERE WILL BE A SNOWSTORM". WELL YOU ARE CORRECT, THERE HAVE BEEN MANY STORMS BEFORE YOUR BIRTHDAY, AND TONIGHT THEIR CALLING FOR A WINTRY MIX, ON YOUR BIRTHDAY. IT HAS BEEN A REAL NIGHTMARE WITH ALL THIS SNOW. WE HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS. THE PATIO ROOF BEGAN TO GIVE WAY, WITH 4 BEAMS CRACKING AND HANGING OPEN. I HAD TO HIRE A COMPANY TO GO UP ON THE ROOF, AND SHOVEL OFF THE PORCH ROOF, AND THE PATIO ROOF. I WILL PUT IN A CLAIM TO HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE FOR THE PATIO,AS IT IS NO LONGER SAFE TO WALK UNDER.I AM RUINING MY HERNIATED DISC MORE AND MORE BESIDES, WITH ALL THE CLEAN-UP OF THIS HUGE AMOUNT OF SNOW.
WELL,POP, KEEP WATCHING OVER US, AND TELL MOM TO SEND ME A SIGN OF SOME KIND. GIVE MY LOVE TO MOM,AND SISTER CINDY.
THANKS FOR EVERYTHING POP, AND I KNOW WE WILL MEET AGAIN WHEN MY WORK IS THROUGH HERE.I WON'T FORGET YOU OR MOM EVER. I LOVE AND MISS YOU EVERYDAY.

DEAR MOM,
SATURDAY WILL BE NEW YEARS DAY. I WANTED TO JUST SAY HELLO TO YOU AGAIN, AND WISH YOU AND DAD, CINDY, YOUR FOLKS, AND YOUR GRANDMOTHER, A VERY HAPPY DAY UP THERE IN HEAVEN. I HAD SUCH PLANS AND PROJECTS LINED UP WHICH YOU WOULD BE A MAJOR PART OF. NOW THERE IS JUST SILENCE.I CAN NOW JUST KEEP OUR FAITH, AND FIRMLY BELIEVE I WILL SEE YOU AGAIN WHEN MY TIME COMES. NO MATTER HOW MUCH TIME GOES BY, I WILL NEVER STOP LOVING YOU, MISSING YOU, AND REMEMBERING YOU, ALL AS IF IT WERE YESTERDAY.
I HOPE YOU WILL SHOW ME SOME BIG SIGNS MOM. IT WOULD HELP ME TREMENDOUSLY. THIS NOT HAVING YOU RIGHT HERE IS IMPOSSIBLE TO BELIEVE, AND IMPOSSIBLE TO ADJUST TO.
STAY WITH US MOM. I LOVE YOU MORE THAN WORDS CAN EXPRESS, AND MISS YOU TERRIBLY.HAPPY NEW YEAR IN THE LORDS GARDEN.
LOVE ALWAYS, AND FOREVER. XOXO XOXO XOXO
YOUR SON, JEFF.

Dear Nana,
Merry Christmas. This will be the second Christmas that you will be not be with us. I was in the store today and a lady was looking for something and asked me if I knew where it was. I told her "Yes". She asked my name and I told her "Eric". She said her name was "Joanie" so I told her that was very close to my Grandmother's nickname. She was very shocked. When I was talking to her I felt warm. I got her the two things she was looking for. I was checking out, she was behind me. I was in my car putting my seatbelt on, she tapped on my window because she could not start her car because her battery was dead. So, I jumped her car and she was on her way. Now, I am not a religious person but I do believe in God. Somehow or another I believe my Grandmother was involved in this. I know you enjoy Russell Stover's candy and hope you are enjoying it in Heaven and my Grandfather is having a wonderful time with you up there. And I hope you, Pop and Aunt Cindy are having wonderful times together. Nana, there is one thing you will miss, the two great-grandchildren that are coming very soon. I know you would have loved them. As well as Pop would have loved them too. Nana, the New Year is coming and I know you will be looking down on me and everybody in the family and I know you are going to have lots of good stuff to help people with their lives. I believe that because I have noticed things myself that I have not shared with anybody else because it is person and I would like to keep it to myself. And I went to religious shop to buy a tiny angel to put on your headstone but Jeff told me it would get thrown away. I have to find a place to keep it so it won't get thrown away on you and I am working on that right now. Nana, I want to wish you a Happy New Year, Pop a Happy New Year, Cindy a Happy New Year. Merry Christmas to you all. KEEP THE FAITH Love Eric

DEAR MOM,
SATURDAY IS CHRISTMAS. I WILL BE MISSING YOU EVEN MORE THAN USUAL. I WILL HAVE TO MAKE THE BEST OF IT, AND THE DAY WILL GO BY. IT IS REALLY SUCH A SHAME. I CAN PICTURE US ALL TOGETHER, WITH YOUR BEAUTIFUL TREE ALL DECORATED WITH YOUR HAND MADE ORNAMENTS. AND OF COURSE ALL YOUR OTHER SPECTACULAR DECORATIONS. I WOULD ALWAYS PUT YOUR NICE LITTLE TREE UP IN THE DEN WINDOW, AND YOU WOULD LIKE TO LOOK AT IT, AND WOULD ALWAYS SAY, " I LIKE MY LITTLE TREE ". WE WOULD HAVE THE WREATHES AND SLEIGH WITH SPOTLIGHTS ALL ACROSS THE OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSE. I WOULD PUT UP MY 3 ROPE-LIGHT ANGELS TOO. YOU ALWAYS WORE DADS RED VEST. AND THE DINNERS WERE FIT FOR KINGS. AFTER DINNER AND MANY UNBELIEVABLE DESSERTS, WE WOULD SIT AROUND AND OPEN UP THE PRESENTS, AND THERE WAS MUCH LAUGHTER IN THE HOUSE. IT WAS A WONDERFUL TIME.
BUT YOU KNOW WHAT MOM, THE GREATEST GIFT OF ALL, WAS JUST HAVING YOU, ARE BELOVED MOM, AND HEAD OF OUR CLAN, WITH US THERE, WITH WHAT DAD WOULD SAY "WITH ALL YOUR GOODNESS". HOW I WISH WE COULD HAVE THAT NOW. I WOULD GIVE ANYTHING TO HAVE THAT JOY AND PEACE AGAIN. YOU WILL ALWAYS BE THE BEST MOTHER THAT ANYONE COULD ONLY DREAM OF HAVING. I TRIED TO BE THE BEST SON THAT I COULD BE, AND I KNOW I MADE SOME MISTAKES THAT I REGRET,BUT I'M SURE YOU KNEW HOW IWANTED ONLY THE BEST FOR YOU. I HOPE THE TREMENDOUS AMOUNT OF GOOD THAT I DID FOR YOU, WILL OUT-WEIGH ANY NEGATIVES
WELL MOM, ONCE AGAIN I WILL BE STAYING PUT FOR CHRISTMAS. BETWEEN YOU BEING GONE, THE HERNIATED DISC, AND THE ULCERATIVE COLITIS, THERE IS NO USE. I TOLD ML TO VISIT THE DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS FOR A COUPLE HOURS IN THE AFTERNOON. I MADE A REALLY NICE SPRAY WITH A RED BOW IN THE CENTER, AND PUT IT AGAINST THE MONUMENT AT THE CEMETERY, FOR YOU, DAD, AND CINDY.
HAVE A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS IN HEAVEN MOM. SAY HELLO TO DAD, CINDY, AND YOUR FOLKS. I LOVE YOU VERY MUCH MOM. AND SOMEDAY I WILL SEE YOU AGAIN. WHAT A TIME WE WILL HAVE. UNTIL THEN I HOPE YOU WILL SHOW ME A SIGN.
LOVE YOU ALWAYS AND FOREVER MOM. YOUR SON, JEFF.

K-MART IS GOING TO BE OPEN, SO I WILL HANG OUT THERE FOR A WHILE IN THE MORNING.
I WILL BE THINKING OF YOU OF COURSE, AND STILL WISH YOU AND DAD, AND CINDY, AND GRANDMA AND GRANDPA, A WONDERFUL THANKSGIVING IN HEAVEN.I LOVE YOU MOM, AND AM VERY SAD THAT THINGS ENDED UP LIKE THIS. November 16, 2010
Dear Mom,
Today is your Birthday. Happy Birthday! I wish I could bring you flowers and your favorite candy, Turtles. Your grand daughters are both expecting. I wish you were here physically to enjoy this blessed time. I bought both girls a nice crib and changing table. I know you would want the babies to have a sturdy, well built crib. Eva is having a baby girl. Rachel will know the sex of her baby on Nov. 29. Imagine I am going to be a Nana on earth!
You started it all Mom! I went to see Uncle FiFi on Sunday. He loved you very much. I miss you everyday, and so much would like to talk to you about many things. Please watch over all of us, mom especially the girls. Keep an eye on Eric too. Love Always, Your Daughter, Marylou.
November 16, 2010
Its been a while since I've written in the book. First, I want to say Happy Birthday to my Nana. Second, I would like to explain a story that happened. I was looking for a new car and I had no luck finding the car that I wanted. So one day Jeff goes to the cemetary, as he does every day, and he went by a dealership and he saw the car that I wanted and I went up there with him to look at the car. I immediately fell in love with it. Now I am a Roman Catholic person. I don't attend mass every Sunday but I find it comforting that Jeff spotted this car after visiting the cemetary. I am sure my Nana led him to it for me. It is a perfect car for me. I want to thank my Grandmother for pointing Jeff there. I also want to say Thank You to Jeff for searching for this car for me. I want to say I miss my Nana like crazy and I think she got robbed of her age and now she will not be around to enjoy the two great-grandchildren that will be joining our family next year. It still has not sunk in that she is gone. I think about my Nana, Pop and Cindy all the time. I am sure she will be happy in Heaven because UConn basketball is starting and I am sure she is watching. I feel that my Nana is helping me when I have a bad day. There is one more thing I would like to add. I will carry on the circus tradition when my sisters have their babies. I will be an uncle and when the time is right I will bring them to the circus like my Nana did. Happy Birthday Nana again. I hope you are having a good time in Heaven. Keep the Faith. Love, Eric
November 15, 2010
DEAR MOM,
TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY. I ALWAYS WENT TO THE GROCERY STORE, AND GOT YOU YOUR PINK CARNATIONS, AND WE PUT THEM IN VASES IN THE PORCH, AND KITCHEN. THEN I WOULD BRING YOU 2 LARGE PIZZAS FOR YOUR TREAT. I ALWAYS BOUGHT YOU A COMBINATION BIRTHDAY-CHRISTMAS PRESENT, AS THEY WERE USUALLY SPECIAL HIGH TICKET ITEMS. THEN AT THANKSGIVING, I ALWAYS GOT THE CAKE WITH THE WHIPPED CREAM, AND STRAWBERRIES AND PEACHES. ON THE TOP I MADE SURE THEY PUT "HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM", AND "HAPPY BIRTHDAY JODY".
I WOULD GIVE ANYTHING TO HAVE A DAY LIKE THAT WITH YOU MOM. WORDS ALONE CANNOT EXPRESS THE HAPPINESS,AND JOY, AND COMFORT, OF HAVING YOU WITH US AT HOME. I MISS THE PEACE THAT YOUR PRESENCE BROUGHT. I NO LONGER HAVE THAT CALM AND PEACE.
THE GOOD LORD GAVE US A VERY PRECIOUS GIFT, WHEN HE GAVE US YOU FOR OUR MOTHER. NEVER COULD THERE BE A MORE DEVOTED, LOVING, SELFLESS MOTHER, WITH A HEART OF GOLD. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU HAVE DONE, AND CONTINUE TO DO FROM UP ABOVE. I KNOW YOU HAVE NOT LEFT US. I KNOW YOU ARE NOT FAR AWAY. SOMEDAY I WILL JOIN YOU IN THAT BEAUTIFUL GARDEN IN HEAVEN.
SO FOR NOW, I WISH YOU THE MOST HAPPY BIRTHDAY IN HEAVEN MOM. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM,HAPPY BIRTHDAY JODY.
I LOVE YOU FOREVER MOM. UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN. XOXO XOXO
YOUR SON, JEFF
October 23, 2010
DEAR MOM,
THERE HAS BEEN SOMETHING BUGGING ME FOR THE WHOLE YEAR NOW THAT YOU HAD TO LEAVE US. AT YOUR MASS,THOUGH I TRIED MY BEST, I DID NOT GET THE SONGS YOU WANTED CORRECT. REASON BEING, IN ALL THE CONFUSION, I DID NOT THINK TO LOOK IN THE SAME ENVELOPES WITH YOUR FINANCIAL DOCUMENTS. THAT WOULD BE THE FURTHEST FROM MY MIND, WITH THE TRAGEDY WE JUST HAD, IN LOSING YOU SO UNEXPECTEDLY.SO I DID NOT FIND YOUR SONG LIST INSTRUCTIONS. HOWEVER, I REMEMBERED THAT YOUR FAVORITE WAS " JUST A CLOSER WALK WITH THEE", AND ALSO "BE NOT AFRAID", PLUS "ON EAGLES WINGS". I DID NOT KNOW THE FAMOUS" PRECIOUS LORD TAKE MY HAND" WAS THE OTHER ONE YOU WANTED, NOR DID I KNOW YOU WANTED "HOW GREAT THOU ART". ALSO THERE IS NOW A LIMIT OF 4 SONGS. SO I ASKED FOR "JUST A CLOSER WALK WITH THEE", "BE NOT AFRAID","ON EAGLES WINGS",AND "AVE MARIA". BARBARA HAD SAID THAT THE PRAYER TO SAINT FRANCIS OF ASISSI PUT TO MUSIC WAS NICE ALSO. SO I MADE STRONGLY CLEAR TO THE CHURCH STAFF, THAT I HAD TO HAVE "JUST A CLOSER WALK WITH THEE", "BE NOT AFRAID", "ON EAGLES WINGS", AND "AVE MARIA", AND IF THEY COULD FIT IN SAINT FRANCIS OF ASISSI AS AN EXTRA, THAT WOULD BE FINE.
SO THE MASS GETS UNDERWAY, AND YOU KNOW ME, I'M WAITING TO MAKE SURE EACH SONG IS BEIN DONE. "BE NOT AFRAID" DONE, "ON EAGLES WINGS" DONE,"AVE MARIA" BEAUTIFULLY DONE. NOW I'M WAITING FOR "JUST A CLOSER WALK WITH THEE" WHICH I TOLD THEM WAS THE MOST IMPORTANT AND HAD TO DE DONE. IN THE MEANTIME, THEY START SAINT FRANCIS OF ASISSI, WHICH I TOLD THEM WAS STRICTLY AN EXTRA IF THEY COULD FIT IT IN. NOW I'M GETTING VERY ANXIOUS AS TO WHEN THEY WILL DO MY DEAR MOMS FAVORITE, "JUST A CLOSER WALK WITH THEE". WELL, AS WITH MY WHOLE LIFE,NO LUCK AT ALL, THE MASS STARTS COMING TO A CLOSE, AND NO SONG WAS DONE. I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED, AND I FELT I HAD LET YOU DOWN. AFTERALL, IF YOU CAN'T EVEN GRANT A FINAL SIMPLE WISH SUCH AS THAT NICE SONG.
I AM REALLY SORRY I MESSED THINGS UP FOR YOU MOM. I WISH I COULD GO BACK AND DO IT OVER AGAIN, BUT IT'S TOO LATE. I GOT THE BEAUTIFUL DRESS AND TOP AND ROSARY RIGHT, FROM MEMORY. THE ITEMS AT THE FUNERAL HOME WERE PICKED WITH MUCH CARE,WITH CHERRYWOOD, AS YOU HAD FOR DAD. WE WANTED QUALITY, BEAUTY, AND DIGNITY FOR OUR BELOVED MOM.THE FLOWERS WERE BEAUTIFUL AS WELL. AT THE CEMETERY, I SAW TO IT THAT YOU HAVE A BEAUTIFUL BRONZE MARKER, HONORING " AN ANGEL ON EARTH". THE MONUMENT HAS A ROSE CARVED IN, TO SHOW YOUR WONDERFUL WORK WITH YOUR VAST FLOWER GARDENS. I PLANTED GERANIUMS THERE, AND SOON THERE WILL BE MUMS.
MOM, I KNOW YOU ALREADY KNOW EVERYTHING I AM TELLING YOU, BUT I WANTED TO TELL YOU ANYWAY. I TRIED MY BEST. I MADE MISTAKES. BUT I HOPE THE MAJORITY OF THE TIME,I DID RIGHT BY YOU.
I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER MOM. AND I THINK ABOUT YOU EVERY SINGLE DAY. AS ML HAS SAID, THER IS SUCH A TERRIBLE VOID IN OUR HEARTS, AND LIVES, WITHOUT YOU.
TILL WE MEET AGAIN MOTHER. LOVE YOU. XOXO XOXO P.S. PLEASE TRY AND SHOW ME A BIG SIGN FROM YOU.
YOUR SON, JEFF

Dear Mom,
I can not believe a year has gone by since you left us. I truly believe that you are now living with God, dad and Cindy and your parents in heaven. This Saturday Mike and I are going to plant all kinds of flower blubs around the shrine of Our Lady in remembrance of you. You went to Heaven on the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary. Watch over all of us Mom. I hope to see you in Heaven some day. Love you always, Your daughter Marylou.

Dear mom,
Today I remembered you passing, and Mike and I offered the Sunday mass for you. I miss you daily and nothing will fill the void in my heart for you. We plan on buying a memorial brick in honor of you at Our Lady Of Fatima Church. Eva will be having a baby girl during the first week of Feb. Maybe the baby will be born on Dad's birthday. I sadly regret that you are not with us to share this wonderful occasion. I want to thank you for the generious gifts that you have bestowed upon me and my children. i LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU VERY MUCH. YOU WILL ALWAYS BE IN MY HEART. I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU. lOVE TO YOU, DAD, CINDY, Grandma and Grandpa.
October 02, 2010
Sunday will be a hard day because my Nana passed away one year ago. She is now in a good place with her loving husband and daughter. I believe they are looking over me. Things are getting better in my life. Everybody keep the faith. Love, Eric
October 02, 2010
DEAR MOM,
SUNDAY,OCTOBER 3RD, WILL BE THE ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF YOU LEAVING US TO ENTER HEAVEN, AND JOIN DAD, CINDY, YOUR FOLKS, AND YOUR SPECIAL GRANDMOTHER.IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO BELIEVE, THAT A YEAR HAS PASSED. TO ME, IT SEEMS LIKE JUST A VERY SHORT TIME AGO. I REMEMBER EVERY LITTLE, LAST DETAIL, AS FRESH AS IF YESTERDAY. WE USED TO SAY THE SAME WHEN DAD PASSED AS WELL. ONE DAY YOU SAID " HE WAS SITTING RIGHT THERE". I ALSO PICTURE YOU EVERYWHERE, AS IF NOTHING COULD HAVE CHANGED. I LOOK FOR YOU ON THE COUCH, AT THE KITCHEN TABLE, IN MY CHAIR IN MY ROOM. IN YOUR BED, ON THE PATIO, IN THE YARD, AND EVEN IN THE CAR.
WHEN I WAKE UP IN THE MORNING, AND REALIZE YOU ARE NOT THERE, IT IS VERY HARD TO TRY AND CARRY ON. THE HEARTACHE IS TERRIBLE. THE TEARS START FLOWING. MISSING YOU SO MUCH IS A CONSTANT, AND HUGE HURT IN MY LIFE. YOU ARE LOVED AND MISSED, MORE THAN WORDS CAN EVER SAY. I WOULD HAVE DONE ANYTHING TO HELP YOU MOM, AND GOD KNOWS I TRIED ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING.
I AM SO PROUD TO HAVE YOU AS MY MOTHER. YOU TAUGHT ME SO MUCH, AND YOU ARE A WONDERFUL EXAMPLE OF HOW WE SHOULD TRY AND LIVE, ALWAYS DOING THE RIGHT THING.
I AM TRYING TO CARRY ON YOUR WORK, AND ALSO TRYING TO KEEP VERY BUSY, AND REMAIN DISTRACTED. UNFORTUNATELY, THE HERNIATED DISC IN MY BACK, PREVENTS ME FROM DOING ALL WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE, CAUSING ME MORE ANXIETY. I AM TRYING MY BEST MOM, AND I WANT YOU TO BE PROUD OF ME, AS YOU LOOK DOWN FROM ABOVE.
THERE WILL BE A MASS FOR YOU AT SAINT ROSE CHURCH ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 3RD.
THANK YOU FOR ALWAYS BEING THERE FOR ME MOM, AND UNDERSTANDING ME, AND ENCOURAGING ME, DESPITE ALL MY PROBLEMS.THE COMFORT YOU GAVE ME WAS LIFE SAVING. DESPITE MY MANY FAULTS, AND SOME REGRETS. I TRIED TO GIVE YOU THE BEST CARE I COULD, AND PROTECT YOU AT ALL TIMES.I WAS ALWAYS LOYAL TO YOU, AND WANTED TO SAVE YOU IN THE WORST WAY. BUT THIS LAST TIME, DESPITE DOING EVERYTHING IN MY POWER,I JUST COULD NOT GET YOU OUT OF IT.
YOUR FLOWERS FINALLY BLOOMED, AT HOME,AND AT THE CEMETERY,WHERE I VISIT DAILY.
PLEASE STAY CLOSE TO US MOM. KEEP WATCHING OVER US. SHOW ME A BIG SIGN IF YOU CAN, AS IT WOULD MEAN SO MUCH TO ME.
I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART MOM. I KNOW I WILL SEE YOU AGAIN IN HEAVEN, IN THAT BEAUTIFUL GARDEN THE GOOD LORD GAVE YOU, AND ALLOWS YOU TO TEND.
GIVE MY LOVE TO DAD, CYNTHIA, AND GRANDMA AND GRANDPA.
LOVE YOU FOREVER MOM. XOXO XOXO
YOUR SON, JEFF.

My nana has been gone for almost one year. I can't believe a year has gone by so fast. I miss her every day. I know she is in a better place now and having more fun in Heaven with Pop and Cindy than we are down on Earth. October 3 will always be in my memory. Nana, I will always love you and I know you are looking after me. Love, Eric
September 05, 2010
The other day I was in my storage room getting something that I needed and I came across a bear that I was going to give to my Nana on Christmas and it said "I love you Nana". My Nana loves bears. A long time ago I bought her one of the biggest bears I have ever seen and she loved it. I am sure if she were alive today she would have loved this bear that I bought for her. I would bring it to the cemetary for her but I don't want it to be taken away so I will keep it for her in a very special place. I apologize that it has been so long since I have written something here. I will end here and may God bless my Nana, my Pop and my aunt Cindy. Keep the faith.
July 24, 2010
DEAR MOM,
I JUST WANT YOU TO KNOW, THAT THE REASON THERE ARE NO FLOWERS AT YOUR CEMETERY MONUMENT YET, IS BECAUSE FIRST OF ALL, I HAVE BEEN SIDELINED FOR OVER 9 WEEKS WITH A HERNIATED DISC IN YHE LOWER BACK, AND THEN ON TOP OF THAT, IT HAS BEEN IN THE 90 DEGREE AND OVER RANGE FOR OVER 3 WEEKS. THE CEMETERY HAS NO FLOWERS LEFT, AS THEY ALL BURNED UP, EVEN IF YOU TRIED TO WATER THEM. WHEN THE WEATHER BREAKS, AND I HAVE A DAY WHEN THE PAIN ISN'T TOO BAD, I WILL PLANT THE FLOWERS, EVEN THOUGH IT'S GETTING LATE IN THE SEASON. I FEEL BAD THAT ALL THIS HAD TO HAPPEN, AS I WANTED THE CEMETERY PLOT TO LOOK REALLY NICE. I AM STILL LIMPING AROUND, AND IN PAIN WITH THIS DISC. IT HAS GONE FROM THE RIGHT SIDE, OVER TO THE LEFT SIDE. I HAVE LOST SO MUCH TIME,AND CANNOT ACCOMPOLISH WHAT I NEED TO DO.PLEASE PUT IN A GOOD WORD FOR ME THAT THIS JUST GOES AWAY.
I THINK OF YOU MANY TIMES A DAY, EVERY DAY, AND THE HEARTACHE OF YOU HAVING TO LEAVE IS JUST TERRIBLE. THE TEARS ARE ALWAYS FALLING. IT WILL NEVER BE THE SAME MOM. BUT THE LOVE I HAVE FOR YOU WILL BE ALWAYS AND FOREVER. I HOPE YOU CAN SEND ME A SIGN ONE OF THESE DAYS. IT WOULD BE SO LIFE-CHANGING FOR ME. I KNOW YOU ARE STILL AROUND, AND I KNOW I WILL SEE YOU AGAIN MOM. IF THINGS HAD GONE ACCORDING TO PLAN, YOU WOULD BE AT HOME RIGHT NOW, WITH US, FOR YEARS TO COME. BUT DESPITE ALL MY EFFORTS, I COULDN'T GET YOU OUT OF IT THIS LAST TIME.
I LOVE YOU MORE THAN WORDS CAN SAY MOM, AND I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR THE TIME I HAD YOU HERE. YOU WERE, AND STILL ARE, THE BEST MOTHER ANYONE COULD EVER HOPE TO BE BLESSED WITH. STAY WITH US MOM.
TILL WE MEET AGAIN MOM,
LOVE FOREVER, XOXO XOXO

Dear mom,
Today is Father's Day, Mike and I said a special mass for Dad and Mike's father. I know that you are happy being reunited with dad in heaven. I miss Dad, these last couple of days. I used to call on him for medical and financial advice. But he is no longer physically present to obtain the answers that I need. Dad still comes through to me when I am making important decesions on the house and future financial plans. His numbers 777 follow me every where, including the lottery. The rosary that they placed with you when you went to heaven, is with me. I plan on restoring it to its original state and using it for my ministry. I miss you and Dad very much, and look forward to seeing you in heaven some day. Kisses ti Cindy. Happy parents day. Love Ml
June 18, 2010
DEAR MOM,
I AM WRITING TO YOU AGAIN TODAY, BECAUSE SUNDAY IS JUNE 20TH, FATHERS DAY. I ASK THAT YOU WISH DAD,"POP", A MOST WONDERFUL FATHERS DAY, UP THERE IN PARADISE, WITH YOU AND CINDY, AND YOUR PARENTS. THERE IS ALWAYS A DEEPER SADNESS ON THESE SPECIAL DAYS, BECAUSE IT MAKES YOU MISS YOUR LOVED ONE EVEN MORE. BUT JUST KNOWING THAT YOU ARE SAFELY HOME, AND IN THE BEAUTIFUL KINGDOM, AS PROMISED, AND THAT WE WILL DEFINITELY BE REUNITED SOMEDAY, OFFERS ALOT OF PEACE TO THOSE LEFT BEHIND. TELL DAD WHAT A GOOD FATHER HE WAS, STILL IS, AND WILL ALWAYS BE, AND THAT WE WILL NEVER FORGET HIM, AND WILL ALWAYS LOVE HIM, AND MISS HIM. SO A HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO DAD, AND A WONDERFUL DAY TO YOU MY MOTHER, AND ABSOLUTELY BEST MOM THAT GOD COULD HAVE EVER BLESSED ME WITH. KEEP WATCHING OVER US MOM, AND STAY CLOSE TO US. PLEASE PUT IN A GOOD WORD THAT MY SLIPPED DISC IS HEALED, AND I DON'T NEED ANY SURGERY. IT HAS BEEN ONE MONTH OF AGONY, AND I CAN'T GET ANY RELIEF OR IMPROVEMENT.
I LOVE YOU MOM AND DAD, AND I THINK OF YOU MANY TIMES A DAY. TIL WE OUR JOINED TOGETHER AGAIN UP THERE,
LOVE FOREVER, XOXO XOXO, YOUR SON,JEFF
June 11, 2010
DEAR MOM,
I AM WRITING TO YOU IN YOUR GUESTBOOK TODAY,BECAUSE TOMMORROW IS JUNE 12TH, THE 17TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE PASSING OF DAD. IT SEEMS IMPOSSIBLE FOR 17 YEARS TO HAVE GONE BY. OVER THE YEARS, IT HAS ALWAYS FELT ABOUT HALF THE NUMBER OF YEARS, VERSUS THE TRUE NUMBER. PLEASE TELL DAD, "POP", THAT WE HAVE CERTAINTLY NOT FORGOTTEN ABOUT HIM. IT'S JUST THAT WITH YOUR UNEXPECTED PASSING MOM, THIS TRAGEDY THAT HAPPENED TO YOU, IS VERY NEW TO US. AND SO WE CONCENTRATE ALOT ON YOU. AS YOU KNOW, I TRIED SO VERY HARD TO SAVE DAD TOO. PLEASE TELL HIM THAT WE WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HIM, AND MISS HIM DEARLY, AND LOVE HIM FOREVER. HE WAS, AND STILL IS A REAL GOOD FATHER, FAMILY MAN, GOOD PROVIDER, DEVOTED TO YOU AND THE KIDS. HE NEVER SPENT ANYTHING ON HIMSELF, AND WORKED HARD, AND SAVED FOR YOU AND US KIDS. WE ALL APPRECIATE THAT MORE THAN WORDS CAN SAY. OVER THE YEARS, DAD ALWAYS HELPED US WITH EVERYTHING, FROM CARS, TO HOUSES, PROJECTS, REPAIRS,PURCHASES, DEALS, GENEROUS FINANCIAL BOOSTS, ADVICE, ETC, ETC. I KNOW HE HELPED US FROM HEAVEN ALSO, AFTER HE PASSED.
HE MUST BE JUST SO OVERJOYED, TO HAVE HIS "JODY" BY HIS SIDE. HE LOVES YOU SO MOM, AND HE ALWAYYS SAID" WHAT WOULD I DO WITHOUT MY JODY". SO GIVE HIM ALL OUR LOVE.
I'M SORRY I HAVEN'T BEEN TO THE CEMETERY DAILY EOR 3 WEEKS. THE DOCTOR BELIEVES I HAVE A SLIPPED DISC IN MY LOWER BACK, CAUSING EXCRUTIATING PAIN, AND DIFFICULTY WALKING, WITH PINCHED NERVE DAMAGE TO MY RIGHT LEG. THIGH, AND CALF. I PRAY THAT I DON'T HAVE A BLOOD CLOT IN THE CALF AS WELL. PLEASE PUT IN A GOOD WORD FOR ME UP THERE,THAT THIS ALL JUST GOES AWAY, AND I DON'T REQUIRE ANY SURGERY ON THE DISC. I AM ON PREDNISONE TO TRY AND HELP THE SITUATION. I AM IN A REAL MESS, AND I CAN'T DO MY WORK. IT'S AWFUL.
WELL, THATS IT FOR TODAY MOM, I LOVE YOU SO VERY MUCH, AND MISS YOU TERRIBLY. BUT WHEN MY WORK IS FINISHED HERE, I WILL SEE YOU AGAIN IN HEAVEN.
ALL MY LOVE TO YOU, DAD, CINDY, AND GRANDMA AND GRANDPA.
LOVE FOREVER, YOUR SON, JEFF.
May 21, 2010
Dear Cindy,
I wish you a happy birthday. I wish I had known you my sister. I will meet you in Heaven someday. Watch over me and my family little sister. I know you must be happy with Mom and Dad joining you in Heaven, God's love. Your Sister MaryLou.

May 09, 2010
Dear Mom,
Happy Mother's Day. Today is a sad day, because you are no longer here on Earth to celebrate this day. Eva bought me a Fuschia plant, your favorite, to hang on my porch, in rememberance of you. Today Mike and I brought roses to the cemetery in honor of you. I miss bringing you cards, turtles and Lilies for Mother's Day. I am sure you have a beautiful flower garden that you tend in Heaven. The hardest thing on Mother's Day is not to be able to hug you and kiss you on your special day. Mike and I had a special mass said for you and his mother at church today. Always know that I love you very much. Thank you for all you have done for me and my children. I miss you every day. Please watch over all of us. I hope to see you, dad and Cindy in heaven someday. All my love MaryLou.
May 08, 2010
Happy Mother's Day Nana. You were a good mom to Cindy, Jeff, Greg and Mary Lou and a wonderful grandmother. I went to the circus today and it felt good because I could feel your presence with me. It is too bad it couldn't be like the old days when I was young and you were in your prime. But I had a good day thinking of you. Tomorrow is Mother's Day and I wish you were here for the celebration like last year but I get to send you a message here. I also know you are with me by signs that you send me like the tickets I had for the circus today. Thank you for continuing to look after me. Love Eric.
May 08, 2010
Dear Mom,
Tommorrow is Mothers DAY 2010. This will be a very difficult day to get through. To think that it will be the first time in our entire lives, that we can't all honor you, our beloved Mom on your special day. I want so much to bring you the bunches of pink carnations, the huge box of Russel Stover chocolates, and of course the heartfelt Mothers Day card. These things and our words and deeds, showed the tremendous love we had, and still have for you now. Marylou walks by a fuschia hanging plant, and Mothers Day cards, and just feels so bad. It's what you call love for you Mom. The only thing we can do is visit at Saint Marys cemetery, talk to you, and honor you. What I wouldn't give to be able to share the day with you at your home. I often said that a house is just a building, but a home is a home because of the people that live there, and the love within.
Mom, on this Mothers DAY, I want you to know that besides being the best Mother you could ever ask for, and one with a heart of gold, you were, and still are so many other gifts to us. You are our devoted Mother, but also our truest friend, good and patient listener, free therapist, good advisor, encourager, calming influence, voice of reason, srength, courage, our source of unconditional love, and of course your sharing with us in day to day life, and the always being there to talk, laugh, and even cry.
I thank God he chose you to be my Mother. I think about you, and miss you tremendously, every single day. I could never repay all that you have done for me over so many years. I know one thing that rings true. I tried every possible thing in my power, and beyond, to keep you well. I would do anything to save you, but this last time, I just could not get you out of it, as I had so many times before. But that can't ever change the love I will always have for you.
Happy Mothers Day in Heaven Mom. Enjoy the day with Dad, Cindy, Grandma and Grandpa, and your Grandmother. I can just imagive the beautiful garden and flowers, that the Good Lord would give to you in His paradise, as promised for a job well done here on Earth.
Keep watching over us Mom, and stay very near to us. I pray you will show me a big sign very soon. It means so much to me Mom.
Till we meet again Mom,
LOVE FOREVER

Dear Mom,
Tommorrow is my birthday, April 18th. Instead of a nice day, it will be a very different, and uncomfortable day. You see the reason is, that it has no meaning to me, without you there. Nothing will ever be the same now. It is such a terrible shame. You were the head of our family, and we were so happy with you here. You were so much more than our Mother. For me you were my Mom, my friend, advisor, listener, encourager, voice of reason, free therapist, calming presence, an example of strength and courage, a stoic, a selfless always giving person, a loyal ally, and of course, a source of never ending, unconditional love. I would give anything just to visit with you for a little while. I have to settle for knowing you are still around watching over us, and remain near. I am having a mass for you Sunday, on my birthday, and I will be there. I pray you will show me a big sign on my birthday. Marylou will be visiting me on Saturday afternoon. She too misses you terribly, and often remarks how it's no longer the same since you made the trip to Heaven, to be with the Lord, Dad, Cindy, and your parents.
There is one thing that no-one can ever take from me, and that is the never ending love I have for you. I love and miss you Mom, more than words could ever say. I hope you have a beautiful flower garden that you are tending to up there.
LOVE FOREVER MOM, TILL WE MEET AGAIN.
LOVE, YOUR SON, JEFF XOXO XOXO

Dear Mom,
Happy Easter. We miss coming to your house for Easter Sunday. We miss bringing the Easter lilies and tulips for you to plant in your garden. We miss the delicious ham and fish casserole and all the trimmings and delicious desserts and pies.
Jesus rose from the dead on Easter Sunday, and I know that you, Dad and Cindy are with him in Heaven. I prayed for you, Dad and Cindy at Mass today. Please continue to watch over us and protect us. The holidays will never be the same without you. We love you and miss you forever. Love Marylou and Mike.

Dear Mom,
Tommorrow is Easter Sunday. It seems like just a very short time ago, that we were all together at Gregs, having a nice day on Easter Sunday 2009. We brought the huge Fleur De Lis ham, that we cooked at home, and everyone enjoyed the dinner and visiting. You were not ill at all, looked so nice, and you needed no assistance whatsoever. I now find it impossible to believe, that Easter is here once again, and yet fot the first time in our entire lives, our beloved Mom, won't be able to spend the day with us. It is just heartbreaking. The heartache is too much for me. To have had you leave us only a few months ago, is so very painful, I will not be attending any Easter get togethers. It's just never been the same without you.
I feel so bad, when I see the people buying their Easter plants, and dinner fixings, and getting ready for Sunday. I have to be strong, and look the other way, and just keep moving. I always feel that I'm on the outside looking in. About this time, you always began your inspecting and puttering in the yard. The weather is beginning to warm up, and you would start being outdoors, in the yard, and on the patio. Everywhere I look there is a reminder of you. As Spring continues on, it makes you missed that much more. I will have to continue trying to live just one day at a time.
I am continuing to do good things Mom, just as you taught me to, through the example you gave, throughout your entire life. You taught me so much.
Happy Easter Mom, and also to Dad, Cindy, and your folks. I love you, and miss you so very much Mom. With all my heart. Keep watching over us. Til we meet again MOM.
LOVE FOREVER, XOXO XOXO
Your son, JEFF

Dear Nana, this will be the first Easter without you and as a family and we will not have the big ham this year as we did in the past. I will always remember those days and will never forget the croissants you made. I know you are in a happier place with Pop but I don't want to end on a sad note. I will end on a good note. The circus is coming in about four weeks and I know you will be there with me watching over me and I will be thinking of you and it will be a good day remembering you. And may all your days be good days. Love Eric

Dear Mom,
Yesterday was Palm SUNDAY. The mass was offered for you Dad, and Cindy. I was at the Mass, and it was very nice. At the end of the Mass, the Palms were given out, and I asked for 3, so I would have enough for the monument at Saint Mary's. Marylou and I, were recalling how you had that talent for shaping the Palms into beautiful crosses, and other dispays. You could do so many things, that it was just amazing. I will try my best to make a little display from the Palms, and place it at the monument. As you know, I visit there everyday, rain or shine. I wish I could just bring you back home, but I know your in GODS paradise, along with Dad, Cindy, Grandma and Grandpa, and your grandmother who you were so close to. I will have to just pray that you will send me a sign, and go one day at a time until we meet again. Please continue to watch over us Mom. I think about you alot, each and every day. I love you, and miss you, more than words can say.
LOVE YOU FOREVER MOM. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING MOM.
Your Loving Son, JEFF

Dear Mom,
Happy Saint Patrick's Day. I know that you are with Dad, Cindy and your parents in heaven with the saints. Please watch over me and my children, Mike and Jeff. I always remember you wearing your little green pea coat and sun glasses. You always liked the color green. Watch over Greg, Barb, Emily and Jason. Love you always MaryLou

Dear Nana,
Happy Valentine's Day. I'm going to miss giving you the candy that you love, especially the Russell Stovers but I know deep in my heart you are around me. I miss you very much. I hope you and Pop are doing good in Heaven. Love Eric
February 14, 2010
Dear Mom,
Happy Valentines Day. I saw a Valentine card in the store for a mother, which I would have sent to you. I felt sad that I could not send it to you. I know you liked the Turtles and Carnations that we brought you. We missed sending you the giant card and you telling us how we must have money to burn for the postage. I remember you making Valentine cakes for us on Valentines Day. I tried to do the same for my kids. I am so glad that I was able to bring you the Eucharist when you were not feeling well. Valentine's Day falls on a Sunday this year, so I offered the Mass. for you and Dad. I Love you and miss you very much. You'll always be in my heart. Watch over us and protect us until we meet again. Thank You for all that you have done for me and my children. All my love MaryLou.

Dear Mom,
Tommorrow is Valentines Day. Back when we were just kids, Dad would go and get boxes of candy, and give you one from him, and say the other ones were from us. At first he presented you with the Whitmans Sampler, courtesy of his pal Mike Williams, of Elm Pharmacy. You would say 'geez, can you afford it or what, I must be worth more than the Whitmans Sampler'. Then he moved up to Russel Stovers, and would always give ones from the kids too. But the ultimate, was when the Burnham and Brady candy factory, opened a sales counter, on the corner of Elm Street and Burnside Avenue. There they sold real good stuff, and unusual varieties. I remember choclates with orange rines, etc, etc. Dad really made a hit with those high quality choclates. You have to give him credit. This went on for many years, and then with the sad passing of poor Dad [Pop], I then continued by getting you a huge Russel Stover red foil choclate heart[ buy 1,get the 2nd free, and in later years, buy 1,get the 2nd 50% off] Dad always said that you took after your mother[Grandma], in that you could down a whole box in one sitting. I then would go to shoprite and get you the pink carnations,3 bunches for $10.00 with your card. You were always so pleased to receive something, and I wanted to be good to you,as you were so unbelievably good to us. Marylou would always give you the Nestleys/Demers turtles, which you loved and are so delicious, along with cards, etc. You always sent out your Valentines from your list.
Well, this will be the first Valentines, that we cannoy do these nice, heartfelt things for you. We want to so very much, but have been stopped so unexpectedly. When we see the candy and flowers for sale that you received in the past, we have to just look away and feel sad. But nothing can ever stop us from wishing you a happy Valentines Day in Heaven, and nothing can ever stop us from sending all our Love to a Mother who is cherished. We could never find a better Mother than you Mom. It just could not be done. We are so blessed that you are our Mother. We will Love you forever. You are in my thoughts throughout every day,and I miss you terribly. But I know that you are always around, watching over us,close to us,and smiling. Give our love, and warm wishes for a wonderful Valentines Day, to Pop,Cindy, and Grandma and Grandpa. Until we meet again Mom, I Love you very much, and I hope you show me a sign soon. I will never forget you Mom, and I will never forget all that you have done for me. Please stay with us Mother.
Love Forever, your son Jeff.

Dear Mom,
Well we are starting a new year,2010. It won't be a happy New Year for me. To think you were taken from us in the last quarter of 2009, is not only so heartbreaking and painful, but also impossible to believe. We had so many plans lined up Mom. A new car, the springtime repairs to the house, getting everything in order, etc. I had a big surprise for you. It was to be a combination Mothers Day/ Birthday/CHRISTMAS present for you. I was to give you a 46 inch LCD flat panel tv, to watch all your favorite UCONN mens and womens basketball games. That would have been so nice for you Mom. Now the plans are not to be. 2 days ago, I woke up and went to check on you in your room, and you were not there, and then I remembered, and became very distressed. Before that, I was on the patio, and went to make sure you were ok on your couch. But your head was not on your little pillow, and the tears started. The house is the same as when you left it, with everything you could ever need. What a terrible shame. A house is just a building, it's the people who make it a home.
I miss you terribly Mom. Please always keep watching over us, and stay close to us.
Love forever Mom. XOXO XOXO
Your son, JEFF.

Dear Mom,
I am glad 2009 has passed, because it was a very sad year for me. God took you into his kingdom that year. 2010 will be harder without you to talk to and ask advice. I will try to be strong and do my very best to make you proud of me. I pray for you in church and also pray for you when I say the rosary. This is a new year for us on Earth and eternal life for you in Heaven. Please watch over us, especially Jeff who really misses your presence. Love you, Mom and miss you, MaryLou

Dear Mom,
I really miss coming to you house for Christmas. This Christmas without you being here is very sad. I miss seeing you in Dad's red vest for Christmas. I miss your beautiful Christmas trees, and your delicious home cooked meals. I miss opening up the Christmas gifts and family members playing the piano. We had many good Christmas times together, which I will always remember. I know you are happy with Dad, Cindy, your parents and Grandmother in heaven with Jesus on His birthday. Thank You for all the wonderful Christmas celebrations we had together. I will cherish them always. Merry Christmas, Mom. You're in my heart forever.
Love Marylou.

Dear Mom,
Tommorrow is Christmas day. For all these years our family would gather on this special day. The kitchen and dining room would be buzzing with activity, laughter, and of course your dinners, which were so unbelievable, there was just nothing else to compare. I would always buy the biggest Fleur De Lis ham I could find, and after the dinner, you would slice up big portions to send home with guests. All the spectacular side dishes were enough by themselves. And who could forget the variety of desserts besides.
Your Christmas tree with all the beautiful handmade [by you] ornaments, was always admired and cherished. Your touch was felt through the entire house, with all your unique decorations. You were so talented. Outside we always had the wreathes, spotlights, sled, candles, and I added the 3 white ropelight angels. In the window was your favorite little tree. You even had several boxes of elves and other ornaments, which you had sewn their outfits, and placed on a real tree in the den. Oh what happy days those were. Oh what a Mother you were and STILL ARE.
Mom, This year there is a terrible void with you being taken from us unexpectedly. You are not only are beloved Mother, all year long, but at this time, you were such a huge part of Christmas. It will never be the same. Everything has changed now, and nothing has the same meaning. Marylou and Mike were about to get you a giant poinsettia plant, and then remembered, and had to stop. That happens to me all the time, when I want to bring you home a big suprise, and then can't do it. It's heartbreaking.
I wish I could go back several weeks ago, when all was fine, and you were at home, and make this terrible nightmare go away. I will be staying home for Christmas, and hoping the day will go by fast. I know you will be celebrating with POP,CINDY,GRANDMA and GRANDPA,and your GRANDMA who lived upstairs. I love you Mom, more than words can say. I miss you so terribly. But I also know that you are watching over us, and are very near to us. And we will see you again.
Merry Christmas MOM, I put 3 wreathes at the family monument. Until we meet again in Heaven, I am so proud of you, and will love you forever.
Love , your son, JEFF XOXO XOXO

Dear Nana, This is going to be the first year I am not going to see you for Christmas but I know your spirit is around me. It is not the same as you being here. I know you and Pop are having a wonderful time in Heaven. I will miss us being together for the holidays. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Nana.

Dear Mom,
Today is Thanksgiving Day, and I miss sharing this holiday with you. We always went to your house for a delicious turkey dinner. I loved your Turkey stuffing and sweet potatoes and pumpkin pie. Mike liked your seafood casserole. We went to Eva's for dinner today. Some of your cooking skills must have rubbed off on her. The turkey was very good. We would have rather shared the holiday with you. We know you are with us in spirit, and are looking down on us and watching over us. Thank you for being a great mother and cook. Thank you for all you did for us through the many years. The holidays well never be the same without you. We love you and miss you very much. We are always thinking of you, dad, Cynthia, grandma and grandpa. Always be near to us. Love you, Marylou and Mike.

Dear Mom,
Tommorrow is Thanksgiving day. We are supposed to be all together, sharing a meal, telling some stories, having many laughs, and most of all being so grateful that we have each other. It seems just impossible to believe, but for the first time in so many, many years, we will not be having our get together with you. It is so sad. You are a huge part of our lives and the holiday traditions. I am just going to stay home on Thanksgiving, and run around if any stores are open, just to make the day go by. It's known that you miss your loved ones, even more at the holidays. I miss you so much MOM. I love you so much MOTHER. I would do anything if things could return as they were, only a few short weeks ago. I know you will have a joyous Thanksgiving in Heaven with DAD, CYNTHIA, and GRANDMA and GRANDPA. MOM, Please always keep a close watch over us, and stay near us. I know you are still around. The tears won't stop running down. My love for you is forever. I know I will see you again.
Till we meet again,
Love always, MOM

To my Nana, I know you are not around for Thanksgiving but you are around in spirit. During the holidays your cooking was unbelievable. My favorite two were the croissants and the rolls. I know I shouldn't eat it but I love the garlic bread too! This year is going to be different on the family but we'll make it through. All of us. Love Eric

Nana was very precious to me. She took me to the circus every year from the time I was 3 or 4 years old. Those are moments I will never forget. I loved playing bocce with her and pop. It meant a lot to me that she always put out the giant bear I bought for her for the holidays. I will always remember and love my Nana.

Dear Mom,
Happy Birthday Mother. I love you more than words can say. I miss you so much MOM. Every day the tears keep running down. You see we, your children, are blessed, and so very lucky, to have an angel on earth, that we call MOM. I could never thank you enough for what you mean to me, and all that you have done for me.
I tried everything in my power to keep you well and going strong. Now there is an enormous missing link. But all is not lost, because I know you are always watching over all of us, and are staying very near to us. I am so proud to have you as my MOTHER.
You are safe in heaven with DAD, CYNTHIA, and GRANDMA and GRANDPA. My love for you is forever MOM. You are on my mind every single day.

Although I have not seen Bea in years - my first memories of she and your family was when you moved to East Hartford on Elm Street above Dr. Acqua's office. I lived across the street and always loved to go over and play with the children and/or babysit - it was a special time in my life which continued for a while after they moved to their own home, and I use to go visit there - Bea was a very special person and I'll remember her forever.

My love and prayers go out to the family of Bea. I first met her through a friend when she and Lou moved to E.Htfd after the war. We learned that we were married on the same day in different states, so always remembered the day with notes, cards, or a double date. When my friend, Terry O'Neil and I first went to Bea and Lou's home during the day and I looked out onto her gardens---it took mt breath away.I had never seen such a magnificent sight in a private home. Later in life when she was using a cane, she would have a motorized chair to take her around her yard so she could continue her work. May you all find peace in remembering the wealth of memories Bea has left you. God bless you all. Florence Marino
