It was a pleasure to know Bernie. He was a Gentleman and a great soldier. My condolences to Bernie's family.
It will be my honor and good pleasure to lead family and friends in a Memorial Service for CWO 4 Lemanski. Timing between Memorial Day and D-Day will only add to the sentiments many feel when a soldier takes that final assignment. May the Lord bless and keep his loved ones now and ever.
Dear Lemanski Family, We are sad to hear of your Dads passing, he was truly a nice, nice man. We have such fond memories of both him and your Mom. They were both such great friends of our Mom, Janet Curtis. Please know our thoughts are with you all at this very difficult time. You are in our prayers. Love, Jennifer (Curtis) Ricci and Robin (Curtis) Leary and Family
Bernie was a guy you had to like. I remember him well and talking with him about Rhode Island so often. He served his country and the Guard well.
Bernie was a true soldier and gentleman. It was a pleasure to be associated and serve with him. He will be missed. My deepest condolences.

Bernie was one of the best examples of friendship, honesty and integrity that anyone could ever follow. He was always ready and willing to help you or answer any question regarding logistics and readiness or just talk about shared experiences. We will all miss him.
My deepest sympathies to the Lamanski family. It's been many years since the days we would play together, especially on Sundays when you would come to visit your Grandparents on Roslyn St. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
