Sonny, my uncle, was as a youth quite an athlete. I recall a grudging description of his football skills, perhaps by a former opponent, as a tough guy. Tough to get a hold of and tougher still to do anything else if you managed it. I remember a subtle, reserved but distinct enjoyment Sonny seemed to get when recalling his fishing adventures. Thank you Uncle Sonny for the hard job you endured over in Korea. I respect your sacrifice and the terrible price you paid for our way of life. Your service will continue to be remembered. Thank you.
