Dear Donna and Mrs Grady and the entire office staff at CT Women OBGYN,
Words simply can not possibly convey the depth of my sadness and sorrow at the loss of Steve. He was a powerful visionary and a true gift to all whom he touched.
I consider myself to be so blessed to have had him in my life. I am a firm believer that "things happen for a reason" but this is one of those times when I just can't understand the why, it is just so wrong to have Steve taken from us so soon!
I have told him many many times just how much he means to me and my family and credit him with not only saving my life once (with my hysterectomy in 1990) but saving it a second time with my recent loss of 110 pounds thru the weight loss program he runs.
I just had recent major surgery and when my surgeon, Dr Elizabeth Brady, asked me how I lost all the weight and I told her it was Dr Grady's weight loss program, she paid him one of the highest compliments by simply saying "ya know......he "gets it"!
She was so right....he had that rare gift of not only being able to listen to his patients but to also hear what they were saying. He looked at not just their gynocological needs but their "whole body" needs. His desire to make sure that his patients were totally in balance is what set him apart from all others.
So my heart goes out to you and your families and to all those whos lives were touched by him.
The world is a much sadder place without him in it.
