Dearest Spot:
Thank you for spending my birthday weekend with me, and I’ll never erase your birthday message you sang to me on my voice mail. I realize now how lucky I was to have you as a friend. You were always there for me when I was down and I was down a lot, but you always cheered me up. You had a great sense of humor and a magnificent smile that I will never forget. I can’t thank you enough for all the help with my move back to Connecticut, the painting and repairs on the condo. Thank you for your support and advice (not that I always took it). Your friendship meant a great deal to me and I will miss you immensely. Heaven will be a greater place with your arrival. God bless – you will always be in my heart.
I love you,
Emily

Some of our funniest, fondest memories included Spot. Our daughter danced with his three, and we still have the videos he shot to prove it. We'll miss his face.

"Spot" was one of those people who made you feel special and always seemed to put a smile on your face. I'm so glad that I had a chance to be a friend of Larry's, maybe not a close friend, but a friend just the same. Just knowing him made my life a little better and sometimes with his smile and humor, a little more bearable. Look out heaven, here he comes!
