May the lord be with every single one of these families. Especially with Mrs. Hollidey since she also lost her son. People we have to pray for one another in the bible it says that you should pray for your enemies as well. The evil sorrounds us each day and more so now with so many tradgedies happening in this world. The devil will get to the best ones and make you do unthinkable things. So please let's pray for one another and not let this continue in this world. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!

It's hard to make sense of a senseless tragedy, but to the survivers, I hope the memory of those slain, and the warmth of family will bring you through hard times. Words can not express the remorse myself and my co-workers in the industry were feeling this week. May peace be with you all.

We at the Beulah African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Zion Church in Bristol, CT are so very sorry for your loss. We lifted you up in our worship service this morning to the God who we believe and trust, understands all things even when we do not-- like--"Why do Bad Things Happen to Good People?" I, am I'm sure that many people who believe in a kind and loving God, have asked this very question. I found solace in a book written by Peter Kreeft titled, "Making Sense Out of Suffering."

I pray that when you are able, you will find solace in this book and also find solace in God's Word.

We will continue to keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

My sorrow filled, heavy heart, can't comprehend why so many good people won't be sharing our workplace or going home to be with their families and communities. I've worked with nearly all these amazing men for more than 20 years. I would like to tell their families, each and everyone of them, was an honor to know and work beside.
I see by the many comments, from all corners of the USA and some from other countries as well, their stories, their efforts have been seen, and their courage on this awful day will be remembered and shared all over this country, and parts of this earth.
I offer deepest, sincere sympathy and my own tears to the families, friends, co-workers at HDI. Bryan, Craig, Frank, Vic, Ed, Doug, Billy, and Lewis--you will never be forgotten.

Craig Pepin was a college fraternity brother and friend. Although we had not kept in touch after college, I have such fond memories of our college years and particularly the summer of 1971 when Craig invited me to come out to the Eastham Lobster Pool to work for the summer. He didn't tell me that there were going to be about 6-8 other friends and that we would be living in a tent in Nickerson State Park for almost 7 weeks! But that summer ended up being one of the best summers in my life, and I owed a debt of gratitude to Craig for that opportunity. He was someone who always had a smile on his face and who seemed to always live life to the fullest. I am sorry that we were unable to stay in contact after college, but at least we had recently connected indirectly through facebook and his daughters posting of family photos. My sincerest condolences to all his family and friends as well as the others who have suffered as a result of this horrible tragedy.
