Many wonderful memories of school years in Watertown with Bill and Ann. Bill took the
time to write me a wonderful long letter in
response when Ann passed away. Sorry to
lose another friend.

Bill always found the little joys in life. As our "next door neighbor", Bill was so amused by the antics of the boys or "the little dumplins" as he called them. His favorite observation was the dumplins' holding on to the electric garage door handle then dropping down from the highest point. He so loved to share stories of his own beloved children.

Bill was a dear soul who enriched the lives of all who knew him. May he Rest in Peace.

Bill lived across the street. He had a piano keyboard painted on a piece of wood on which he practiced. When he went to his lessons next door to me I'd sit under the window and wait for him to get done. He was SO handsome and I loved him – we were in the second grade at Grant!!!! I remember the big white house with the huge porch where we had so much fun when we were at Mellette. Some of those childhood friends are now gone too.

Bill was an accomplished and popular guy throughout his days in Watertown. It is sad for those of us from the Class of '54 to learn of his passing. To lose a father is indeed hard and my sympathy goes out to you.

May Bill rest in peace with God.
Have many fond memories with your mom, dad, Elizabeth, Jenn and Paul over some difficult years. May God be with you all at this time.
