My heart goes out to the Dressler Family as this news breaks my heart.
I had the opportunity to meet Rick and his son David more than 10 years ago...and because of Baseball we became friends.
Rick was always positive and had great energy...and very funny too!!

Although I have not seen him for several years I'll miss him, and will cherish the times we spent on the ball field in Farmington...

My husband John and I were deeply saddened to learn of Rick's passing. He was my beacon of light during a difficult time in my real estate career and I am still very thankful for his assistance.
We hope you will find great comfort in the many fond memories you have with Rick from over the years. Sincerely, Jean and John Fleet, East Lyme, CT

There are no words that I can summon to accurately describe the level of warmth and compassion that Rick shared with others every day. His genuine interest in how everyone was going, his enormous pride in his family, his willingness to forgo his own needs to be there for others...just scratch the surface. His smile, his humor and his willingness to make the time to listen and support those he worked with leaves an indeilble mark everywhere he touched. If you know Rick...you understand. We can all aspire to be more like Rick and cherish the memories of sharing time with someone so special. To his wonderful family know that he placed nothing above his pride and love for you. A truly honorably man! We will miss him terribly and must take solace in the fact he has moved on to a better place...and is telling his wonderful stories I am sure!

Rick is a very warm and sincere man who truly loved people. We spent alot of time together managing for Prudential and I always told him that he had one of best gifts to teach and motivate people with the greatest sense of humor. I loved his sense of humor! We found out that our sons were coached by Dave Swanson and our passion for baseball and pitching was always the main topic of conversation. My breath was taken away when I found out the sad sudden news and I want so much to say that he will be missed and I am so sorry or your loss. God has him now, enjoying his wonderful company.
