CAN'T GO THRU E. HFD W/OUT THINKING OF ALL THE GOOD TIMES WITH TOUR CLAN. YOUR FOLKS LOVED TO SPOIL KIDS. THEY ALWAYS HAD A GOOD TIME WITH YOUR DAD'S JOKES AND GIANT CHEESEBURGERS. IN THE COURSE OF CONVERSATION YOUR DAD DISCOVERED THAT REGULAR CUSTOMER HAD WRITTEN TO HIS MOTHER BACK HOME A FEW TIMES BUT HE HADN'T CALLED HER IN MORE THAN 5YRS. YOUR FATHER GRABBED A FEW ROLLS OF QUARTERS AND PLACED THE CALL. IT WAS VERY TOUCHING SCENE AND I DON'T BELIEVE ANY OTHER BAR OWNER WOULD HAVE DONE THAT. WE'RE SURE YOUR FATHER WAS IN HEAVEN A 1/2 HR. BEFORE THE DEVIL KNEW HE WAS DEAD!

Mr. brown was a strong man raising great kids as my friends as I and my family live two doors down in sunset hills. I with other friends would cut through his back yard to get to the river to fish and climb trees. also remember bringing fresh veggies from our garden to the brown family. They were close friends to our family for many years. it's a great lose. my and prayers go out to there entire family. William Nordstrom

Bill was my boss at CT Swimming Pool in early 70's and remember he loved cruising down the Berlin Tpke in his big Ford ; to his delight people pulled to right lane mistaking him for a police cruiser. Loved to tell stories about his kids; one of my favorites family went out to dinner and Kerry about 3 years old ordered a hotdog and quickly shouted 'no sauercrap' aka sauerkraut. Met Grace a couple of times and soon realized Bills' big stature transformed to "teddy bear" grumbling while Grace took the helm. Heaven must be in party mode with their reunion and Nancy has her beloved brother"Tinker" back. My sincere condolence to all the family but cherish the time you had together and your enriched lives.

You guys know how sorry we are for you. Unfortunately we won't be able to make the mass, having just found out about it now (Sat 12AM). We love you all.
