Helen Corrigan cont..

Helen kindly came to my mum's funeral August 1990 at St Mary Star of the Sea but slipped out of church as she always did before the service finished, so I never got a chance to talk.

I've thought a lot about her over the years and that both our Mum's were single parents and how well they did..it's helped me when I've been though my own tough times as a single Mum of one,now living in Cumbria

with my very best wishes

Ann Harrison (nee Vinson)

Also Mike you once gave me a lift in your MG, my friends were astounded! and I was elevated to near superstar status. Your mum was very kind to me & I loved staying with her. I'm glad she lived to a ripe old age & had such a big family!

I knew Helen as a young girl (my Mum was Mary Vinson) and stayed occasionally at her cottage next to St Helen's hospital, where I was delighted by her jack russell terrier 'Kerry' and amazed by the mistletoe at the top of her garden! Ann
