Dear Melanie and Adam,
Only just now did I find the obituary of your father Malcolm. As you might remember, I stayed with your family many times in the 1970s, initially as a language student and very soon as a friend. Both your parents had been so kind and loving, making my stays in England very special. Our families also met later in Germany one or two times, when you were on holiday. I kept in contact with Linda for a long time by mail, keeping each other informed about family life. Unfortunately our contact in recent years was rather loose. I last heard from your father soon after Linda died and I do hope he got my reply at that time.
It is so sad to realize I will not be able to meet these two kind persons again. They will always have a special place in my heart.
If this message will reach you, it would be helpful for me to get in contact with you. I would like to learn more about Linda and Malcolm's last years.
In loving memory of Linda and Malcolm
Maria (Mary to your parents) Maué , married Lisch

Dear Melanie and Adam,
Only just now did I find the obituary of your father Malcolm. As you might remember, I stayed with your family many easter holidays when I was a school girl in the 1970s. I am full of great memories of these weeks. Your parents had been so kind and loving and by meeting your relatives in Yorkshire and Wales, they showed me many different parts of the country. We had been in touch for a long time since then, although our contact in recent years was quite loose. I last heard from Malcolm some time after your mother died, and I do hope, he got my reply at that time.
It is difficult to imagine, that these two lovely persons have passed away. I would have so much loved to see them both again, and now feel terribly sorry, I haven't made any more efforts. They will always have a very special place in my heart.
Now I do hope, this message will reach you. I would like to get in contact with you, the easiest way might be by email:

Hope to hear from you
