He took out my tonsils when I was 8,or 9, I was scared and had to stay for the 1st, time overnight in the hospital alone, He came and sat with me and I felt divine peace which I later came to understand was an anointing of the Lord...I have though about him, many times over the yrs. and was well pleased to learn he did missionary work. I believe He prayed for me in the hospital and I never forgot His kindness and peace as I am 53 now and this is belated for just learned he went home in March...for reasons will keep my name a secret...He was my doc and a child's angel at the time...

Dear Lane family: I met your dad as a young nurse at St. Edwards School of Nursing. I remember him as such a wonderful "gentle" man! He was always patient, kind, and respectful of his patients and the staff he interacted with. He was someone who consistently modeled a demeanor of confidence mixed with a keen intellect and accomplished surgical skill. Please know that he was held in great esteem and each person was better for knowing him, even if the meeting was as superficial as assisting him with a procedure. You are blessed to call him "family".

Respectfully,

Concetta Liberto Baker, (Class of '67, St. Edward"s School of Nursing)
P.S. Now I'm retired, but after all these years I still recall Dr. Lane as special!
