To the family of Donna Wheeler,
It is with love and heartfelt appreciation that my wife, Sally, our daughter Lynn and I offer condolences to Donna's family. For over 30 years we have had the privilege of seeing and talking with Donna on the campus of William Carey University and at many Rotary Club events. We feel blessed to have known her as well as her late husband, Dr. Milton Wheeler.
William Carey University is a better institution because of having had Donna Wheeler as a key administrator.
With love and admiration,
Garland, Sally and Lynn Sullivan
We would like to express our heartfelt sorrow for the loss of your wife, Donna. We pray the Lord of Peace will bring comfort to you in abundance. Hoping you take heart, knowing you are in our thoughts and prayers.
I am so honored to have had Donna for my 1st cousin! What a wonderful compliment when one of her nurses said I looked so much like Donna! I have such fond memories of Donna, Judy and Darlene when we were all growing up together. Ken and I will never forget and will always be grateful to Donna and Milton coming to see me in the hospital in Indianapolis, so very far from our South Alabama home. Even in the drugged state right after surgery, I remember Donna's smiling face! Heaven is rejoicing her homecoming I am sure. Uncle Fred and Aunt Myrt must have welcomed her in!
Milton, I met Donna my first day on campus and she was always one of my favorite people at Carey. You two are a shining example of Christ's love and an example for us all to follow in our marriages. God's peace and love on you at this time and always.
Milton, I am sorry for your loss, I wish we at Chickasaw Baptist could have known Donna. I grew up with you, with love, Norma Jean Atchison Caraway
Milton, I am sorry for the loss of Donna; yet, so happy to know she is with our Heavenly Father. She left a piece of herself in the hearts of all who knew her. Prayers and love to you and Donna's family.
I have such great memories from my years at Carey of Mrs. Wheeler. She was always so sweet and supportive. My prayers go out to Dr. Wheeler.
May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.
Donna was one of the first people I met when I entered Carey in 1965. She was a beautiful Christian lady and I know you will miss her. You're in my prayers. Janice Byrd McKinion
I was shocked and saddened to read of Donna's passing. I have very fond memories of both of you from my days at Carey. Please accept my deepest sympathies.
