Ladies Auxiliary Military Order of the Purple Heart National President Barbara Cannode and the National Leadership team join the Department of Mississippi LAMOPH Membership in prayer over the loss of our sister, Past Department of Mississippi President Dora "Jean" Pickett-Bourne (nee Byrd). Her many charitable works of mercy both at the Unit level and at the Department leadership level leave a legacy of service that we will strive to continue in our work across the nation.

Eternal Rest grant unto her, Lord of the Universe and may the work of our sisters in Mississippi and around the nation be a reflection of her dedication to our organization and to the care of the Patriot and their family.
