Rudy and family, You have been in our prayers since the beginning of Matred's illness, we prayed for a diagnosis. We have prayed for comfort, strength, wisdom and grace for her and now will lift you all up at every thought of you and all those who loved and knew Matred. She was wise and witty feisty and though. She trained you well. Jim and I love you all very much.
As we grieve with the family on our loss, I cannot help but think of Ms. Matred's servant heart and how important it was to her to see that no one left her presence without being fed. I can just see the banquet our Lord has prepared for her and her joy at seeing her loved ones gone on before. She will always have a special place in mine and Henry's heart. May happy memories overshadow your sadness. What a wonderful example of love and sweetness she exhibited!
