SARAH MAXINE EDWARDS, 94, of Pequot Lakes, Minn., formerly of Chesapeake and Proctorville, Ohio, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015, at the CR Medical Center in Crosby, Minn. She was born on May 21, 1920, at home in Platform, Ohio. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015, at Chesapeake United Methodist Church, Chesapeake, Ohio, with Pastor Chuck Case officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point, Ohio. Maxine was preceded in death by her husband Miller C. Edwards; grandson Scott Wortham; her parents Jim and Ruby Fulks; brothers Howard Fulks, Jerry Fulks, Mac Fulks and Jim Fulks Jr.; and sister Charlene Johnson. Survived by daughter Sharon and son-in-law, Bill Wortham; granddaughters Angela Wortham and Suzanne Ressemann (Tom); great-grandsons Matthew and Ryan Ressemann; sister Patty Swain (Jack); brothers Curtis Fulks (Roberta), Ron Fulks (Joan); and many loved ones and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Maxine's memory to Chesapeake UMC, in Chesapeake, Ohio, where she was a member. Arrangements are with Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, Ohio. I remember Maxine very well when they had the drug store in Chesapeake in the 60's. She and Milford were always so nice and helpful.
