I did not know Mrs. Conner, but I am privileged to be the minister that will help to lay her body to rest in her hometown of Tupelo, MS today, June 5, 2014 at 4:30 pm. It is a blessing to read these comments and to be even a small part of her passing on to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I look forward to meeting her with Him in the clouds! (1 Thess. 4:13-18)

Rebecca was my mother's first cousin. Her name is Tina Ritter King of Philadelphia, MS. She called Rebecca today to catch up only to find that Rebecca passed away. I remember Rebecca as a fun loving cousin and she will be missed by our family.

On stressful days at South Miami Middle, Becky and I would sit outside her office and pretend we were in Paris, enjoying the view. She added comfort to my life.

Our dear Ms. Conner -- our counselor at Shenandoah Junior HS; have often thought of her understanding and gentle manner. May she rest in peace.

What a great lady, Bible teacher and dear friend. I will always remember her "verbal punctuation" skit she performed at Shenandoah. Heaven gained a wonderful soul!
