A miracle of a person who changed the whole atmosphere of my children's school while he was there. We were all fortunate to know him.

Mr. Green was an amazing man. He encouraged my music and told me to chase it. I wouldn't be me without him. He was a kind, smart, funny, and wise man. He meant so much to me and I am lucky to call myself one if his former students. I will miss him dearly and I will never forget Mr. Green

Ben Green was my friend! Having been a part of the Cornerstone Church worship team with him for six years, I can say without hesitation that he was the very best man I have ever known. His heart was a heart that sought after God continually. His life was a life of worship and the best example of what it means to be a man of God. He loved his wife Pat and his daughters Rachia, Yoshika and Sherria with the intensity that Jesus loves His church. He loved others as himself. He took with him the things that we should all cultivate in our lives: Love, Peace and Joy! Though I'd lost touch with him over the past few years, I had lunch with him early last summer. It was like we hadn't missed a minute in our friendship!

Even today, my heart aches at the passing of my brother Ben, but I know that he is worshipping at Jesus' feet! He earned that spot! I miss you my brother and look forward to seeing you again!

He was a kind and loving spirit. We only talked a few times after my mother passed(Ethel Mae Green). He had been on my mind lately. I enjoyed our talks. He will be missed. I remember my mom talking about Duck Duck Goose, and Jackie (my little sister) watching it. My prayers to the family. I will contact you soon. Love, Barbara Lewis

My thoughts and prayers are with the Green family. I also was a student of yours in North Hialeah Elementary 29 years ago. We have not only lost a great person, but a one of a kind educator/ motivator.

Sincerly,

Blessed to have known you. Your legacy will live on through your greatest gifts: Rachia, Yoshika and Sherria. The love that you demonstrated toward your wife was unquestionable! Your smile and genuine love and concern will be missed. But our hearts rejoice because you are made whole in the presence of Jesus! My love to the Green Family

It was an honor to have known you and have you as such a positive influence in my life as a child. As a student of yours you created a love of music in me and many other children that will forever be part of us. Mr. Green was a warm, kind, and gentle spirit and his memory will always be part of the many lives he touched during his lifetime. May the Lord always keep you and grant you eternal peace. Your student always, -Ileana R. <3

Thank God for a wonderful role model to God's planned fo life. Even as a child he was admired at the Livingstong Street Church of God, Orlando, Florida. A man of purpose with a focus to excel his peers. He will be remembered by the Shorter Family with our prayers and love for his family.

I wish I knew words to comfort you for the hurt that you are feeling. All I can do is tell you I care and my heart is with the family. Ben was an angel and an inspiration to all teachers and students that he was honored to work with.
