Pepon Sabines would like to talk to you. His number is 305-972-3279. He just found out today.
Just found out about Jay's passing. I had met him through Pepon Sabines when he and I were partners in the Cattleman Western Wear and Saddlery. I also met you at that time- circa 1979. Your Dad and I shared a common interest in all things cowboy and Western. Always liked his leather work. Pepon (or Peppy) worked at a small market near your house not far from the Orange Bowl. Pepon would also like to get in touch with you.
Jay was a true American hero. A valuable asset to this community and a very good friend to have.
You'll always be my hero! I love you, Daddy, more than words can ever say. I only hope you were as proud of me, as I was of you. Rest well.
I will always remember Jay as the Central Desk Sgt. He always had time for you and never said an unkind word about anyone. Rest in Peace. God Bless you.
A true gentleman. Always had a smile and a kind word. Made you feel welcomed and important. I am blessed to have met him back in 1978; and to have seen him this past Christmas at RPOC. Once again, he had that beautiful smile. Now there is another angel watching over us. God Bless you Sgt. Cuthbert. I will miss you this Christmas and always.
Thank you for your service.
So sorry to learn of Jay's passing. He was one of my very favorite MHS people. With his wonderful sense of humor he could always bring a smile to my face.
Carolyn and Anne
Jay was like a father figure to me when I first went to Central District in 1976. He was always there when I needed help with desk procedures, and made it fun when we worked the desk together. It was great seeing him, and you, Anne at the Ocala ROC. May God Bless you both
Carolyn & Anne,
Jay was not just a member of the PSD family, he was one of it's icons. He was a true gentleman who always put forth his best efforts and always with a smile. Heaven will be a happier place with his arrival.
Jay used to accompany his wife Nancy to our District Citizen's Advisory Committee meetings back in the 80's and 90's. It always was a pleasure to see them together. My prayers go to his family. Good job Jay!
Carolyn and Anne,
Jay was a long time and respected Sergeant in our Department. He was beloved by all. He will be missed. May your memories ease your grief.
