Sy was always like a grandfather to us. He taught Kane a lot about sports and chess. And especially loved coming over and getting your icy pops!;-) Kane and Sofia loved him very much and will miss him dearly! Felipe and I loved him so much! You both were always there for us! Eimer Family,

I met Sy 50 years ago at the age of ten. He was a kind, generous man and the best youth sports coach I ever had the privilege to play for. He knew how to communicate and motivate. I've carried fond memories of him all of my adult life. He was indeed, a special person.

Lyn, I'm so sorry to learn of your dad passing. My thoughts and prayers are that you and your family will feel that "peace that surpasses all understanding" knowing that he is with his God. Sy touched many, many hearts and will be fondly remembered by all. God Bless
