My Dad went to his grave knowing he was tied with The Man as my hero. But then The Man was tied with Harry Breechen as my fathers heros. I'm 56 and bawling like a baby.Stan, the autographed ball you think I paid too much for ($125.00)was a small price for me even though I really couldn't afford it. It will accompany me on my journey from earth. Who knows, maybe you, Pop, The Cat and myself will play a little pepper or Indian ball with it.
My sincerest condolences go out to the Musial as you have lost so much more than we have. God Bless you all.
