To Sam's Family and friends: My heartfelt sympathies to you all. I only got to know Sam a few weeks ago, and in that short time we had some great conversations. Sam had a bright soul, an active and engaging intellect, strong opinions, a wry wit, and a good heart. Bye, Sam, I'll miss you.
