Dave, I thought a lot of your dad. He was a real inspiration to me as a man of God. I know that he is dancing with the Father in heaven.

My prayers are with the Hood family at their time of loss. Bill was a neighbor of our family for atleast 50 plus year. Rest in peace.

Cherri Roberts Uncle Bill, I remember you picking me up at the train station to spend spring break with you and I always hoped snow would still be on the ground so we could go sledding. Fishing trips that you took with Jerry and the kids and you would return laughing because of what happened during the day. Going on drives to Captain jack's Stronghold. Camping at Collier Park, going to Crater Lake for picnics and when we came to watch the air show and watch the Blue Angels fly over. Washing dishes with you and you always told me to go sit down. Cleaning the storage shed to find the "missing" box. Going out to the garden and watching you play with my children and now their children. The holidays we spent together and the many weeks and months that you welcomed us into your home. Whenever anyone needed help you were always right there. Your family knew you were there for them in good times and bad. There is an emptiness that cannot be filled. Mother said it so well, we feel lonely without you. You can now go sit on the river banks with God and wait for the big one to bite. I am at peace knowing you are now healthy and enjoying every moment that you richly deserve.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.
