It has been almost 8 months but it sometimes feels like yesterday!!! Miss you daddy!!!
I grew up with Jon and his family on Perris Hill Rd, we were neighbors. He and his family treated me like family. Always wanted to re-connect with him.
God speed Jon, your old friend Steve
I actually met Jon in the late 1950s when he was in elementary school...he was then, as he remained always: Mr. Personality-Plus! Wherever Jon went, all his life, you KNEW he had been there!! I'll always miss that great smile, his culinary masterpieces, his artistic proclivity, and his youthful spirit. It's funny the random things you remember about a person, but one of the many things that Jon did or said that left a lasting impression happened during a all-family BBQ. As the adults were deciding what to get at the store to BBQ, the consensus was: steaks for the adults and hot dogs for the kids. "No way," said Jon. "If I'm gonna eat steak, then my kids get to eat steak, too." So EVERYBODY got steak that night and ever since that incident, I never considered serving my own kids (or any youthful guests in our home) any food lesser than what us adults were eating. Rest in peace, Jonny. Love from Sandy & Armando Zimmermann
My heart weighs heavy for your loss, I can still see Jon and Greg building the boys tree house, too this day it still stands strong. Jon loved children, Blake and Aaron are saddened by the news. They always called him Uncle Jon. It's been years, Jon you will never be forgotten. My love and Pryers to the family. Charlie
Have not seen you in a long time but do remember the good times on and off the job.
You are now at peace my dear friend. Enjoyed the memories and times we shared. Love you always, Greg H.
Love and miss you uncle Jon! You were a huge part of my childhood!! Your daughters are amazing!
In silent prayer that you will rest in peace for eternity!!!
Miss you daddy...It is nice reminiscing about all the good times you created for us growing up. You were a great father to your young daughters. Will always love you.
