As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
Our thoughts and prayers are with James DePreists' family, friends, and fans. We can all look forward to a time when he's resurrected to life and playing music to God's praise.
Scriptures cite that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. So James DePriest displayed this truth. Let us all praise God for his life, love and legacy, with comforting thoughts knowing that all is well, and that he is conducting that great orchestra up in he sky!

Dear Depreist family; we were very sorry to read of the passing of Mr Depreist. We are never prepared for the passing of our loved ones, and this is because we were not created to die. Our Creator created mankind to live forever. Soon God will return the earth back to a paradise and Mr Depreist will be able to live on earth eternally.

Mr. DePreist was truly a legend, what a beautiful example he demostrated his gifts and talents he loved to share with the community. God is binding up your painful spot.
When I knew James only from the OSO audience, I was in awe and thought he was probably unapproachable. When I later knew him as a client and friend, I remained in awe of him as a wonderful human being, and an approachable person.
