Ken stepped in 40 years ago and took on raising 4 Stepkids. We didn't make it easy on Him at times but He was always there and always supportive. For this I will be forever grateful. I hope He's out on the water somewhere and looking down on us. RIP

Ken will be deeply missed. He was one of the first people to welcome me to our neighborhood when I moved to Everett in 1998.
We will always remember him for his friendliness, joking, and jovial spirit.

Our condolences to his dear wife, Marilyn, and his entire family for their loss. Our prayers for strength and comfort to help you through this difficult time. We are so very sorry for your loss.

Your neighbors, Bill and Christy

I worked with Kenny for about 15 years as his draft person at the City of Everett. He not only a great engineer he was a good friend too. I am going miss him. When he retired he said " Hey Ben! I don't need this anymore" and gave me his City hard hard hat. And I have it in my office since then.

My condolences to your family and friends. Know this. If I was ever having a bad day all I had to do was to stop into Ken's office and within minutes he'd have me laughing hysterically. Ken was also kind to a young inspector. First he mentored and then he would come in or call me and ask for thoughts on an upcoming project. There a few left that know Ken's nickname at work related to the "perfect" slope that Ken created when 7th Ave SE was reshaped getting rid of the hills and valleys. Ken decreed "it's a perfect 2% slope". This from Everett Mall Way to 112th St. SE. The owner of a local contracting company nicknamed Ken "straightedge", it stuck. We'd find ourselves fishing out in the same area of water hoping for that killer size salmon. Rest in Peace Buddy, I miss you
