Dear Maryann & Philip,

I was very saddened to hear of Ken's passing. Please accept my condolences. I'm not sure when I started to work with Ken when I was at Forte' Cashmere but I know it was before 1984 when Forte' and a few other companies formed the Cashmere & Camel Hair Manufacturer's Institute. I remember that Ken helped us a lot in those days to test & identify fiber & garments that were not what they were supposed to be and that reality necessitated the forming of the CCMI. We dubbed Ken "eagle eye Langley" in those days. Of course his long expert association with the CCMI helped ferret out the criminals that mislabeled goods. His passing will certainly leave a void in the fiber expert world. While I did talk to Ken in the last few years, the last time I saw him and you guys was at Bowdoin as my son Andrew & Philip were at that great school together. Once again my condolences. Jim Coleman

TO LOUISE (LANGLEY) KEANE & FAMILY:

My brother's Paul, Phillip and I would like you to know how very sorry we are to hear about the loss of your Brother, Dr. Langley. Even though many years have passed, we all still remember Kenneth, tall, quiet, and handsome. May the Good Lord give all of you the strength to accept your great loss.

Sincerely,

Dear Maryann and Philip,

I am so sorry to hear the news of this tragic loss. I will forever remember seeing the three of you together at the theater and events. The love that you all shared for each other was clearly visible each and every time. My prayers are with you both today and the days ahead.

Ken Langley was a remarkable man, a great mentor with a great sense of humor, and very generous with his time. We spent many years together celebrating Thanksgiving at our home when our kids were young. I also recall his love of sailing with my husband Mark, and his son Philip. The Levin family will sorely miss his presence.
