To the Sipple Family:
I know that I have you at a disadvantage because we have never met or spoken to one another...and I apologize for that.

It is the Friday of Memorial Day weekend and I am compelled to let you that your son has been in hearts and minds this entire week.

As a class project, my 14 year old daughter was asked to select a fallen solider to honor. Part of her requirements were to independently select a service person, research their life and report to there class. My daughter Victoria has selected your son Andrew.

After her class presentation was completed, she took it upon herself to place the Bio she had written about Andrew and hung it in our kitchen along with his photograph. She has made it a personal mission to tell all who enter our home about his life.

I can only imagine how difficult this weekend is for both you, your husband and Andrew's siblings, but we as a family, wanted your family to know that Andrew is being honored and thought of in the highest regards this weekend.

We send our deepest thanks and appreciation for his service and sacrifice and wish you find some peace and joy in knowing that others are thinking of him.

Andrew I knew you for only a year and a half. You were the best pal ever. Anytime I needed anything even if it was a ride to go anywhere I wanted you always said yes. Brother I wish I was with you in Kandahar, unfortunately I was on the other side of Afghanistan. I wish I could see you right now man. I just miss you so much. You were a brother to me. If I could go back I would have died with you brother. I miss you brother so so much. It saddens my heart to know your gone but know you are never forgotten. I will never forget you Sipple. I'm gonna miss that smile and everything that you did to make me Lee and Dave happy man. You always made sure we were ok. I miss you man. Words cannot express of how much the FIST team misses you. And to the rest of the Sipple family, Andrew was the best man ever and it was a honor to serve with him. I am so sorry for your loss. Much love

I know there are no words to say at this time, except how sorry that I am. My thoughts and prayers are with you always. Andrew will never be forgotten.

For you every single soldier
Those who served so honorable
Your life was forever altered
While I'm home safe and free
I stand with grateful admiration
I stand respectful and so proud
I know I'm only a civilian
And I don't even know if it's allowed
But I salute you; allow me the honor to salute you with permission let me say
Even though I hold no rank know that from my heart
My humble gratitude comes from the deepest part. I salute you.

For those missing in action;for those who didn't make it home.I know you're in God's presence you are not alone. For every neatly folded flag;for every shattered family
I will do the only thing I know to dignify your memory. I salute you, allow me the honorto salute you with permission let me say even though I hold no rank know that from my heart my humble gratitude comes from the deepest part.

I salute you.

I Salute You.

While visiting my son and his family on Copper Lane today, they pointed out the many US flags flying in the neighborhood and told me the reason for their presence was to honor your son, Andrew, for making the ultimate sacrifice for his country.

This occurred in my family in 1966 when my brother-in-law was killed in Vietnam prior to the birth of his first child. Hearts were very heavy for a long period of time. Today my heart goes out to you and your family for your loss. May your many happy memories of Andrew help to sustain you during the difficult days ahead.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I thank you for Andrew's unselfish, dedicated service to our country and the great sacrifice you, as his parents and siblings, have made also.

When I heard the news about Andrew (Drew, as I remember always calling him) my heart sank. I extend my greatest sympathy to the Sipple family. I only have fond memories of growing up on the same street as the Sipple family lived, playing and baby-sitting. That is the only way to remember Drew, fondly. He was always fun-loving, always smiling, and I will think of him that way always. He is our hero for his service to our country. I wish Steve, Beth, Kate, Ben, Jake, and all other members of the family strength during this time of sadness. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
