Words can never express my love for, and gratitude to, Maureen. She was a Mother when mine couldn't be there and a Friend - the truest you could ask for. Though it saddens me that she's left this existence, I know what she's been through these past 11+ months, and Our Heavenly Father did too. As such, I am certain she is over the moon to be rid of her earthly ailments and health shackles. We need to be happy for her and look to the day we are reunited with her! Keep the faith and know God loves you most! ("her other Sheila")

Dear Maureen, your daughter Melissa called me to tell me of your passing. We have not spoken in a few years but I think of you often and fondly, of the many years of our friendship. I will miss our long and thoughtful conversations, your wit and wisdom and your unfailing friendship. You will be missed.
