McMullen, Derald R.
May 21, 1927 - Feb. 28, 2013
Derald R. McMullen, 85, of Sarasota, Florida, and formerly of Council Bluffs, Iowa, passed away on February 28, 2013 due to natural causes. He was born in Tarkio, Missouri and was a veteran of WWII. Derald was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joan R. McMullen, and his brother, Cliff McMullen. Derald is survived by his sons, Gary McMullen and Terry McMullen, both of Sarasota, and brother, Ken McMullen of Council Bluffs. Services will be private. Gary and Terry:

Words can't describe how saddened we are at Derald's passing. He was a wonderful man and terrific uncle. We will miss him terribly but will have many wonderful memories.

My condolences to Derald's sons....I used to work at National Bank of Sarasota with Derald and we all had quite fun playing jokes on each other and going to company picnics, Christmas parties, etc. Derald was a good man and one of integrity.
