Lois Westerfield was a heroine in her career and a heroine in the way she lived her life. I feel lucky that Lois pulled me into her very large circle of friends. She taught me so much in a very short time. I watched Lois growing older with grace and humor, even in the most difficult times. Her legendary gratitude for her life, her Teddy- love and her loving friends was and still is inspiring. Lois gave me Angels over the years as gifts. They remind me all the time of the Angel who, I know, is still watching over me. I miss Lois.

One of the sweetest most caring people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. It was my pleasure to have worked with Lois at Mount Vernon Realty for 10 years. She was a special lady.

I met lovely Lois through my job at Morton's Gourmet Market here in Sarasota many years ago when she still was driving that big ol' wonderful Caddy......when she didn't get out as often, I'd shop for her and have a weekly girl's lunch or dinner visit with she and her beloved Teddy dog. I'd bring along my weiner dog Lucy, and we'd always comment on how lucky and happy we were when we all were together with our dog families. This went on for years. I will always keep Lois close to my heart and treasure the wonderful times we spent watching the Thanksgiving Day parades and holiday shows. She adored the Hallmark t.v. channel always saying it made her so happy because all the stories ended happy. Rest well my friend. I know you're happy and healthy up in the Animal Kingdom. XOXOXO To the moon and back. Lynne
