My name is Mary Weggum Snorek. My dad, Per Weggum and Margaret Groening were first cousins. The last time we (the Minnesota Weggums) heard from any of you 'Washington' Wiggums, was when Arnold visited my dad where he lived in Keewatin, MN. Arnold is now the last of his generation. My (our) sympathies to you and your family. I remember hearing all about Margaret, Perry and Arnold when I was growing up. I always enjoyed looking through my Grandmaother's photo albums and remember seeing photos of all of your family. When the Simpson's came out, we were al very interested in the family connections with Chief Wiggum and so forth. I exchanged a few letters with Margaret over the years but not recently. Again, my sympathies to your family. Thank you for reading this and know you are always welcome to connect with me/us if you are ever wanting to do any family history. Prayers.

My sympathies. I didn't know her. Yet, in a way, I did. Nice to know she had the chance to see 'herself' on TV all these years.
