Dear Ruben and family:

Mary was a warm, smart and elegant lady. I had the pleasure of meeting her in Coral Gables. Her memories will live forever in the hearts of her beloved family and friends. With my sincerest condolences,

Krissy, the beauty of your mother's smile and the stories that you've shared show that she was a remarkable person in every way. You and the family have my deepest sympathy.

To Reuben and the Roca Family- sending my regrets and condolences on the loss of Mary. As just saw the notice in local paper. Seems it was a too young to be gone moment, but the pain and suffering is now over.
Mary and Reuben were always very warm and welcoming in entertaining me and my then newly wed bride when I was just starting out at The Rouse Co. in 1976, as I had moved into Columbia early that Spring from New York. I still remember Reuben's story at a home Christmas party.
It dealt with Mary's dad, Dr. Ben suggesting 'Placenta' as a name for a poor family's newborn that he had just delivered, when the mother was at a loss to find a name for her (eighth?) child.
Hoping this heartbreaking loss will not be a long hardship for Reuben, the grandchildren and family overall.
