To Nick's Family: I am thinking about Nick today and his sacrifice (and the sacrifice of Nick's family) for our country. I hope you are doing well and I just wanted to say that I think of Nick and family more than you could know.

Dear Mr. And Mrs. Robertson,

I am always thinking about you and your family. I am ALWAYS sharing with my friends and family how much Nick meant to me. I knew him as "Nini", a nickname that he absolutely hated :). But I was his team member on SOT-A 307, and I miss him dearly. He actually had a certain affinity for mathematics, and he helped me complete my prerequisites for ROTC and college. Fast forward 7 years and I am now an Army Physician Assistant, and I owe a great deal of my success to Nick. If it's possible I would like a few more pictures of him to keep him in my heart. I knew him as more than the true hero of a Soldier he was. I knew him as the kind hearted man than shared a seat on my couch in my home to talk about science, religion, and many other profound things. I know he was a scientist at heart, but I always felt that God allowed your son to touch so many hearts. He will always be in my heart. My email is [email protected]

God Bless you,

Captain Bernard Toney Jr.
