I know there are no words to say at this time, except how sorry that I am. My thoughts and prayers are with you always. David will never be forgotten.

For you every single soldier
Those who served so honorable
Your life was forever altered
While I'm home safe and free
I stand with grateful admiration
I stand respectful and so proud
I know I'm only a civilian
And I don't even know if it's allowed

But I salute you; allow me the honor
to salute you with permission let me say
Even though I hold no rank know that from my heart
My humble gratitude comes from the deepest part.
I salute you.

For those missing in action;
for those who didn't make it home.
I know you're in God's presence you are not alone.
For every neatly folded flag;
for every shattered family
I will do the only thing I know to dignify your memory.

I salute you, allow me the honor
to salute you with permission let me say
even though I hold no rank know that from my heart
my humble gratitude comes from the deepest part.

I salute you .

I Salute You.

My name is John Holmes I am from Huntington Beach California I would like to tell the family of this fallen hero that they have my condolences. My class is reading a book and our teacher gave us the piece of paper with your sons name and rank on it. I felt heartfelt sorrow and thought maybe some words of mine could be of some help in the days coming. He was trying to uphold peace through strength in what he was doing there in the Middle East. I pray that ou Heavenly Father would keep you and your family in his arms and that He would deliver you from sadness and only leave the most memorable thoughts of the loved and lost. Good luck and thank you for giving your son upon the alter of freedom. May God help you in the days, months, and years to come. God bless you and America.

Renee,
I don't know if you remember me from Mtn View Baptist, but I wanted to let you know how sorry I am about your loss. You and your family have been in my prayers. It was difficult losing my husband unexpectedly last year to a heart attack, but I can't imagine loosing one of my children. My prayers will continue to be with you.
