HILLSDALE - Barb J. Seeley of Montgomery, Michigan passed away on October 7, 2015 at the Hillsdale Community Health Center. She was born on April 1, 1952 in Hillsdale, Michigan to Leslie and Mable (Haines) Adams.
She is survived by her husband, Paul L. Seeley; three children, David (Tori) Seeley, Elizabeth (Eric) Strong and Nathan (Sarah) Seeley; eight grandchildren, Esther, Clarissa, Caleb, Tanessa, Carson, Natalie, Camden and Andrew; three brothers, Frank Butts, John Adams and Carl Adams; two sisters, Shirley VanVliet and Sharon Ladd and numerous nieces and nephews.
Barb was preceded in passing by five sisters, Francis Rubley, Aliene McCavit, Helen Swisher, Jean Butts and Julia May Butts; and two brothers, Myron Butts and Lewis Butts.
Barb was a longtime member of the Bird Lake Wesleyan Missionary Church in Osseo.
A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Barb J. Seeley will be held at the Bird Lake Wesleyan Missionary Church on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 beginning at 11 a.m. with Rev. Troy Bolen officiating. Interment will follow at the Waldron Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation at the Hampton-Kurtz Funeral Home in Hillsdale on Monday, October 12 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friends who wish may make memorial contributions to the Missionary Fund at the Bird Lake Wesleyan Missionary Church.
