Helen Huston, 95, of Morenci passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at Country Living near Hillsdale.
She was born May 30, 1918, in Chesterfield Twp., Ohio, the daughter of Clifford & Amanda (Taylor) Head. On August 12, 1936, in LaGrange, Indiana, she married Duane Huston. He preceded her in death on December 11, 1997.
Helen has lived in the Morenci area all of her life. She was a graduate of the Chesterfield High School and earned a dietary assistant degree from the University of Florida. She was formerly employed at the Morenci Area Hospital as a dietary assistant for thirteen years retiring May 25, 1983.
Survivors include three daughters, Sandra Borton of Hillsdale, Linda (Mark) Rorick of Morenci and Pamela (Alan) Boydston of Caro; a brother, Clifford Head Jr. of Texas; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; and a sister in law, Doris Head of Fayette, Ohio;.
Besides her husband, Duane, Helen was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Natalie Huston; a granddaughter, Amy Rorick; two sisters, Kathryn Borton and Phyllis Kibbee; two brothers, William Head and Stanley Head; and a son in law Galen Borton.
Funeral service will be on Saturday, November 30, 2013, at 11:00 AM at the Eagle Funeral Home-Charles Fink Chapel in Morenci with Rev. Jim Yatzek officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Morenci. There will be a visitation on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM and on Saturday from 10 AM until the time of service.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of Hillsdale County or to the Morenci EMS.
