I first heard of your passing only a few months ago. I can still remember the way you laughed and showed me how to shoot a gun for the first time. I will miss you.

Jim was more like a brother to Penny and I. We have enjoyed every second that we have spent with Jim and Linda.
We are sad but know that Jim is at peace and will always live in our hearts.
The fish in the local lakes are finally safe.
God bless the Loomis family, We love you all.

Jim's memory will be long lasting. He served his community in many ways, including spending 40 years on the Hillsdale County Veterans Affairs board, and nearly 50 years at the Hillsdale Daily News. A warm, friendly, sincere man, I will personally miss him. I saw him just a couple of weeks ago in the Kroger parking lot. We talked briefly and I'm so pleased that I had the opportunity to see and talk with him before he passed. He served his country, his community, his family and his friends. A great American, a great guy and a good friend. RIP Jim.
