Joann Halliwill Obituary
She was born August 15, 1941, in Delphos, Ohio the daughter of Charles and Nellie (Martin) Stocklin. She lived her early life at Delphos but most of her life in the Pittsford-Hillsdale Area. She married Edward L. Halliwill October 5, 1957, at Delphos, Ohio and he preceded her in death October 26, 1993.
Surviving are her children Connie (Terry) Robison of Pittsford, Gladys (Wayne) Miller of Montpelier, Ohio, Mary Lou Towers (Kelly Ferris) of Somerset and Edward (Barbara) Halliwill, Jr. of Pioneer, Ohio; 15 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, her brothers, Kenneth (Dorothy) Stocklin, Tom (Carolyn) Stocklin and her sisters, Edna and Kate all of Delphos, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and by 13 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 21, 2014, in the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home in Hudson with Dr. Samuel E. Wickard officiating. Interment will be made in Maple Grove Cemetery in Jefferson Township. The visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.Wednesday.
Memorials are suggested to Liberty Bible Church. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
