To Johns family, Johnny and I came on the Toledo Fire Depart together, 6-3-1977, both of us just out of the Marines, we car pooled together everyday we laughed the entire trip to and from the fire tower! Johns sense of humor was the best, he was a good friend. We stayed in touch for years but different shifts and kids schedules made us lost friends over the years! He always talked about you kids and his sister and brother how he loved you all!! John was a great friend and firefighter. Semper Fi Marine. I'll see you at the big one some day!
