One of my best friends at Eisenhower High School where we taught together...

Penny was my college roommate at the University of Michigan. We lost touch for many years but recently spoke on the phone, excited that we would see each other at our 50th reunion at U of M in October. So very sad to hear of her passing. She was such a dear person and she was a wonderful friend. My heartfelt condolences to her family. Judy Zolotar Pierson

Ms. Penoyar was one of my teachers at Frisbie Jr. High. She was old school, helpful and kind yet she could lay down the law in her classroom. She didn't' put up with disruptive students hindering her other students from learning. Rest in peace Ms. Penoyar.

Penny was a dear friend to me since 1969. We chatted weekly by phone. She non-judgmental, a great listener, who kept her woes to herself. I will miss her; she leaves a true void in my circle of friends. Lovingly, Elaine Albert
