Michael and family,
Peace to my good hearted friend. Thanks for taking me under you wing at ND.
I have nothing but fond memories with Mike Leahy and they go way back. Just a great guy who always made me laugh.
We wish to express our deepest sympathy and are thinking about you during your time of loss. Mike was a unique person and will be greatly missed. We always enjoyed our lunches or phone calls that proceeded ND or IU vs Michigan State games and of course usually involved a bet or two. (and included a fair amount of trash talk) It it tough to recount 50 years of memories here and now yet we will have them forever. We'll miss you Michael!
Katie, Meg and the Leahy family:
My condolences for your loss of Michael.
To the Leahy Family and Michael's many friends.
Thank you for many wonderful memories with the Leahy Family! Prayers and Love!

Michael made our day when he would stop into our Family's store: The Holland Peanut Store, downtown Holland, Michigan. He was sassy, kind, thoughtful and witty! We loved talking Notre Dame sports (especially football) with Michael. He'd always look for Tom, to rehash Saturday's game! His gentle and genuine aura will be missed.
Our sincere condolences to Michael's entire loving family. Our prayers go out to you as you mourn the loss of Michael. We celebrate his Life. We are grateful that we became friends with Michael S. Leahy!

Micheal, I will never forget all the great times we shared together from the dunes and beaches of Macatawa, in Indy and East Lansing. Old friends are the best friends, you will be missed. God bless you my man.
We will miss you stopping by to bet on IU vs MSU games. You were a good friend to our sons Fred & Jim.

My thoughts and prayers are with Mike's family. I am sorry I will not be able to attend his service on Friday, but will light a candle in my local church for Mike on friday. Bless you all.
Michael, you brought a lot of laughs with your insight to a lot of people, from 40 years ago at the beach to more recent lunches. take care my friend. Hopefully, we will all have a chance to toast to the memories. I am a little worried that you left Swaney in charge down here.................

It was a sad day when I herd the news of Mike's passing. Mike was a dear friend growing up -- in Indianapolis and Michigan. We attended SJA, Cathedral and 1 year at Notre Dame together. Mike was always a kind, funny and playful spirit and we shared many laughs. He saw the humor of any situation and charmed many serious people in his day. Thanks you for all that you gave us Mike. May Your Soul rest in peace now.
So sorry to hear about Mike's passing. Known him for many years.Thoughts and prayers go to Jack and Kathleen and the rest of his family!!! Many good memories of him and his family.
