To the Dunker family - Steve was my "big brother" at MSU in the Collegiate Knights fraternity. He was a great baseball player and a bad poker player. He was always there for me and I valued his friendship.Iam so sorry to hear of his passing.Heavens gain is our loss.Again, my sympathy.
My belated condolences to the Dunker family and especially Steve's mother. I have not seen Steve in a VERY long time but my brother and I enjoyed playing at the Dunker's in Rockport and I remember, fondly, his father's teasing. Sonia (that's Mrs. Dunker to you) was our "personal" nurse when we needed our shots to go to Japan. The Dunkers are a wonderful family. I am so sorry for your loss.
JoAnn and family, my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. You both treated me so nice years ago. May your faith and friends help you through the days to come Brenda Bauer a turinsky

JoAnn,(AKA)'Joey', I was out of state last week when Bill told me that Steve had died--OH MY GOODNESS, WHAT CAN I SAY?!? I know that he had been seriously ill for quite some time but, the finality of it. . . .well, it devastated me!! Please know that you are truly in my thoughts and prayers---and hopefully you can hang onto the fun and funny (??) memories that we share. Not just the 30 or so (?!) years that our husbands worked together in the Pros. Office but . . . .the fact that we both delivered babies on the SAME weekend almost 36 years ago!! Hang in there girl, Joey (AKA) Jojo

Jo, Stef and Jon - you are all in my thoughts and prayers. When I saw the picture here, it made me think of his big smile and booming laugh. :) Hold tight to those memories - they are what get you through. Hugs and love to all of you...
I met Steve when I joined the Kent County Prosecutor's Office many years ago. I immediately knew he was a force to be reckoned with. Within a short time thereafter, I came to know and appreciate his words of wisdom, and his kindness to me in the office and in various golf outings. My deepest sympathies to the entire Dunker family.
We were so blessed to form a friendship from law school that lasted throughout our adult lives...we have great memories of Steve, JoAnn, Steffany and Jon. We remind you that we are here to help in anyway possible. God bless you all.
