To all of Jim's family,
I was saddened and surprised to see his obituary in the Holland paper recently. He had just called me shortly before Thanksgiving. He said he was doing pretty good after his hospitalization from the flood waters. Different times we reminisced about our 2-1/2 month trip to Alaska, running our dune buggies at Silver Lake, going out a lot together snowmobiling, all before he moved to Texas. Del, my Dad and I did visit Jim in Texas a few times, and also when he came to Michigan. Will miss talking with you, Birdo. Eric TerBeek

Sorry to hear about jim,s passing. He,s been a great friend to many of us from around the m-45 junk yard from 40 years ago!!! Just talked to him last month, and we just laughed and talked about the old times. Knew he was fighting many health problems as he called to discuss them with his"private nurse"Kay. I will miss him alot!!! Kay Hamstra Herr
